This is a great coffee shop. It reminds me of some of my favorite coffee places in California with a chill relaxed vibe, good music, and excellent coffee. The staff are friendly and happy to give recommendations. A great place to catch up with a friend or take a break with a book.

They take orders upfront, and the staff were wearing masks. I got the Cortado. My order was ready in five min. The flavor was great and I enjoyed the coffee. There are six parking spots in the premises and it was not that busy. Overall the experience was great.I again went the next day and the lady upfront was very polite and gave me nice suggestion to get flat white. It was amazing. A great coffee to begin my Sunday.

Nice and relatively cheap coffee place (think Starbucks except better). They have interesting decor and good, unique beverages.

Ive frequented Vigilante’s Hyattsville location for years but hadnt visited this one despite living across the street. Im glad I finally dropped in! Their CP location is intimate, cozier, and friendly. Being exhausted from moving, I was pleased with the exceptional customer service, despite my tiredness. I ended up with an iced Chai and two biscotti (because why not!) I sat outside on the patio listening to my former neighborhood one last time. Between chugs of Chai and bites of biscotti, I was blissful. Moral? Visit Vigilante, have a blissful experience, and support local businesses!

First I am not a coffee dude. My family members who are love this place. I gave it five stars because of the tremendous way they are handling the safety measures. Everything is touchless. They have made it a safe place. The tables across the door keep us apart and allow transactions to take place. Also take another picture of the cool flowering pots. The pots hang in the air. Are watered from the base. And use solar power to pump the water to the pots. Very ingenious.

Found this wonderful place while on a work trip, and so glad I did. The lattes are divine, as are the baked goodies. The ambience is refreshing, and the customer service spot on. Next time Im in the area, Im definitely be back in.

Had the worst experience for the first time here, they wouldn’t add flavor to my order, told me there is simple syrup that I can pour myself. Waiting since 30 mins and I still haven’t received my one order of cappuccino. I see coffee orders just sitting there since 30 mins that have probably gone cold by now because they don’t have other items ready.

Real cappuccino made with care by a skilled barista the way its meant to be. No terrible superautomatic espresso machines like a certain popular chain. An wonderful atmosphere as well.

The chai latte reminded me of the leftover milk after eating cinnamon toast crunch cereal as a kid and what better compliment can I give than that.

Great atmosphere and great coffee. Every time I’m on that side of town (not much since covid) I stop in for a flavorful cup of fantastic coffee.

The coffee and Pastry was great. They are the only coffee shop around that has parking so that was great. The atmosphere was nice and sterile. I wouldnt go out of my way to go there but if Im in the area, I wouldnt mind stopping by again.

Its okay. I was a little unimpressed with the fact that they didnt have much during the afternoon or eating wise. Their green tea latte was okay but my main concern was trying to find a parking spot and also get out of the parking lot which they cant help. If youre going to go take the bus or walk and good luck finding parking in College Park

Great coffee and acai bowls! My go-to drink is the cold brew. Before covid times, it was one of my favorite places to chat with friends or work for a few hours.

Coffee is truly excellent, and so is the food. The space is modern and comfortable, but theyre currently also doing a great job keeping the place Covid-safe and going above and beyond the minimum requirements on that front. Please give them your business, this place is a godsend so close to campus and it must THRIVE.

Hidden gem, eclectic decor, chill and unpretentious, friendly staff. Cafe mochas are stellar, as are the pastries. I drive 30min+ just for the experience and chill vibe.

Had a few pleasant experiences before our visit on May 9, 2021. What happened to your vanilla bean ice cream?! Ordered a large but we barely got 3 scoops, and most importantly, the ice cream wasnt what it used to be (tasted like regular vanilla ice cream you can buy from a local grocery store). Will visit Hyattsville location from now on.

The wait time was a little long but thats to be expected (and if it isnt, now you know) but both times the coffee has been great, and accurate, and the almond croissant was phenomenal!

I once drank a perfect cup of room temp coffee from this place! It was excellent!

This is a nice coffee shop with another location in hyattsville. I love the decor at this location and just like the other location the customer service is amazing. I might of caught them on a off day but the coffee was not as well roasted as the one in Hyattsville. I will return and give them another try since I do love this brand of coffee.

Lovely place, especially if you are near UMD. Havent tried all the drinks but Latte and Cappuccino were awesome.

Vigilante serves as Hyattsvilles only serious coffee roaster. They have two shops but this particular location can be tricky getting into if youre parking a car. Otherwise, the vibe and atmosphere is fantastic, and the coffee is 10/10.

I know this review will make me sound like I am a coffee noob when I tell you the following: the iced latte (w/oat milk) here is I reckon the most memorable Ive had. Goodness does it hit.

Funky spot for coffee, they dont like taking cash so make sure you have a credit card or debit. Coffee was excellent. I was truly amazed that they had one of these. The music played either apple play or wax I mean real records. Check them out

They refuse to stock skim milk. Server told me that skim milk is harmful to the environment. This is not true: Skim milk is made by centrifugation of whole milk. There is nothing wrong with spinning whole milk fast in a centrifuge to remove the fat.Never going there again!

Vigilante coffee has a very knowledgeable and friendly staff that are happy to explain what makes their coffee unique! Additionally, the inside of the store is great for sitting and talking and the glass doors and windows let in a lot of light. Our group was very happy with the coffee and mocha we ordered!

Best chai late I ever had. They used macadamia milk and it was simply perfect. The place is nicely decorated and not too loud. It was packed to be a Sunday afternoon. I hope they have plans to expand into Montgomery county.

I have come here few times. I love the local coffee in the ceramic mugs here. My choice is mocha or vanilla latte. We do recommend the mint chocolate biscotti, goes well with the coffee. The barista are really helpful and nice people. They had good number of vegan alternatives for milk in the coffee. Secret there is, it doesnt change the good coffee taste. Try it, might help the environment one coffee at a time. The ambiance was nice, soulful and peaceful in the late evening. It gave us nice thoughts and made us craft beautiful food for thoughts and conversations. We even wrote some down our memory lane. Amazed by my newly found experiences at this coffee place, it has moved high in the list of my to go local coffee places to fancy my fantasies.PS: the barista had made the art on the coffee with cream and froth beautifully, but we spoilt it by dipping in the spoon for personal tasting and naughty reasons. So disregard the bias on the disturbed good art in the picture.

This is the best coffee shop in College Park! Their cold brew is solid, and the clean aesthetic is good for getting work done or for connecting with friends and family. The building itself is small so seating (and parking) can be limited. The prices are a bit high, but still competitive.

An outpost of Vigilante Coffee in Hyattsville, now in College Park! The coffee is top-notch: fantastic espresso, different origins & roasts. Pastries are good too. The kouign-amann is my favorite. Not insignificant in College Park: they have their own tiny (free) parking lot, right on Route 1.

Right in front of a tall apartment building is the second location of Hyattsville-based coffee roastery Vigilante Coffee. Engulfed by apartment and commercial buildings, this location is in a long white brick building with a fun pink dinosaur mural on its side.Since I went in the middle of the pandemic, I only got a glimpse of the inside as I picked up my maple latte. It looked spacious and well designed, a peaceful place to work/study post-pandemic.Their order system is easy. Go to their website and follow the steps. Within minutes, your order is ready and handed to you by a friendly staff member.The coffee itself is really good and they have many sugar and milk options including monkfruit.

Perfect second location for the best coffee roaster in the DMV! Every espresso drink and pourover is nailed consistently, the baristas are skilled and friendly, and the shop has a welcoming charm with so much attention to detail (I have on more than one occasion looked up the plants they grow outside). With coffee and service this good, I cant help but to come back every week.Also, props on the flawless curbside system theyve been running during the pandemic!

I visited Vigilante Coffee for the first time on Saturday and I am overly impressed. I had never tried an acai bowl and the barista suggested I try the Original Bowl. It was AMAZING. The ingredients were so fresh and I was half tempted to order a second when my bowl was empty.Not only was the acai bowl great, but the latte I ordered—simply, wow. Generally I require some sort of flavored syrup in my lattes, and while thats not an option at Vigilante Coffee, I had to have my morning coffee. My beautiful latte was served at the perfect drinkable temperature, and quite honestly, I think a flavored syrup would have taken away from the incredible quality of the brew. I cannot wait to visit again soon!

The worst coffee shop Ive recently visited. Menu is not available outside: one has to squint to see whats written on a stand several meters deep into the shop. Baristas are particular about tipping. Do not plan to visit again.

5-star food but one-star service. A couple of days ago, I got into a light bike accident and could not pick up my order. Next day, the order was gone and noone have heard of its existence. Not something I expect from a place where I shop every day. Today, Ive ordered banana with a peanut butter cup. Got just the butter cup but no banana; which Ive discovered too late because the order was packaged with other items. Pretty annoying, will not come again.

My pour over was delicious and the carrot muffin was to die for.

Coffee is delicious. The banana muffin I got was gooey like it wasn’t baked enough. Yuck! I will go back for the coffee, location, ambience and vibe though.

All time favorite, so glad they added this second location. The employees are always attentive and kind. Coffee is amazing of course. I know its good when I can drink it black. The place itself is often crowded (even though the interior design makes excellent use of space) and parking is difficult, which is more of a testament to its popularity in College Park.
