Visited here opens at 7am. Checked in at around 7:15am opened door. Im the only one auto guy states cant start on my vehicle until another tech arrives has to be 2 employees minimum for safety purposes I can understand that but tech need 2b on time. Mohammed was very helpful checked tire needed and explain breakdown for warranty balance and rotation. Took about an hour and half shopped for a while still wasnt ready π. Finally ready checking out Total seemed high I ask guy Michael for break down why its high just for oil change and tire. He explained and saw I was being charged extra $25 what the mess π. So he took that off and total was sufficient π€. My experience was minimal. South side Walmart needs to do better with service. Mohammed and Michael did well I appreciate it. Thanks much ππΏπ€ππΏ
Wal-Mart auto care warranty is no good if you are depending on it for tire repair only. Tire repairs are tricky so read the information for tires wanting to be repaired before you warrant front or rear tires because if you dont you are going to be sorry when you get to there repair shop and the manager tells you no can do for your tire thats needing repair.
The employees are completely unprofessional. All of the tires were over filled. They broke 2 lug nuts while taking them off ans didnβt replace. It was a horrible experience. They will put you in danger with there repairs. Iβm 100% dissatisfied! And the wait was 3 hours after making an appointment. Just an awful experience.
Oil change was fast & easy!
This was the worst experience ever. I arrived last sat jan 27th, to make an oil change, I thought they have competent people working there. I arrived at 130 pm. After 45 min aprox they called me to pay for the service. Then when I was in the high way back home over 285 east after driving for almost 10 miles, I ended up stranded because the car run out of oil. The oil pilot turned red and the car turned off.I called Walmart people up, they have no idea at the moment what happened, they said they had no towing service. I paid my towing and returned to the repair shop.When I arrived to in Walmart shop, in front of shop, they began checking the oil level finding that there was no oil in the engine.They make one more mistake, instead of checking what went wrong and find were the leak was, they put more oil, turned the car on and suddenly all the oil dropped underneath.Afterwards, they pushed the car inside the shop and found the old filter gasket was not removed and that caused the problem.After 1.30 min I left the place, the engine still is running, however is burning oil.Before leaving the place I filled out an incident report. Last Monday January 29th, I called the people in the repair shop, they transferred my case with a private insurance company, this company has neglected my case and has given no importance. I have called them left messages and they donβt call me back. Yesterday 31st, I had to go back to talk with Walmart shop reps, they helped just to called up to the same company.They put my life at risk on the runway, I had to pushed my card on the roadside I complained to them that they should not play with people s life.
Walmart does a great place to shop I love it
I went there for just a simple oil change afterwards I leave and head home my car starts shaking and the oil pressure light comes on. I make it home and stay home until the next day to take it back. Next day on my way back halfway there the engine light comes on and I pull into a gas station to wait for a tow truck because the car had no oil in it (checked the oil at the gas station) had to tow it back to the same Walmart then they looked at it and then more stuff going wrong with my car. Long story short....never get your car done there. They have no idea what theyre doing and basically killed my car. (White smoke of death on the tow truck while taking it to the dealership).

The customer service was terrible. Asked for an oil change and three tires. They never told me they only had two tires or that the car wasready the cashier said she didnt hear me ask for an oil change even tho I asked twice and everyone had bad attitudes. This was a three hour long aggravating experience. I will never return to a place that does not value my money or time and apparently they dont like what they do for a living.

Best checkout area in the store if youre not planning on being there more than 30 minutes. Those other 15 checkout areas always have registers with 3 cashiers with a 45 minute wait times.. Thats at anytime of the day.
Opened 20 minutes late, had a line of 7 customers waiting in the cold. I was the only one getting an oil change, and they took 1hr 20 min to do that. Management needs to be held accountable for this type of service.

Today wasnt bad at all... they had a free burger truck outside. Was able to shop and get oil changed. Customer service was not bad at all. They actually had more registers open than the other locations around lithonia. So lets see how well they do my oil change. Otherwise good job walmart..
I only go here because i bought my tires and get free tire rotation and balancing. Other than that i would avoid doing services here. They are only there to collect a check not to give you service. Management is ok when they are there.
You would think that mounting and balancing would be included in the purchase of the new tires.
They do a pretty good job with customer service and being attentive..they have to put up with alot from the public in this area..
We waited over 30 minutes for a manager, too get another battery...the first one had a bad cell. I didnt need a manager too make the purchase. ONLY one employee with many angry customers..Very BAD experience since I didnt have ALL DAY, ID GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF I COULD....THIS COMPANY HAS SOOO MUCH MONEY, HIRE ENOUGH PEOPLE
Always a hit or miss with my oil changes (depends on whose working that day). Went there in April and had excellent service by a young woman that worked the counter. Went today and was charged for the most expensive oil change by a young woman that assumed (instead of looking at my past visits) that that was what my car needed. I had to inform her that there was more than one synthetic oil option offered by Wal-Mart and that its not just the most expensive one listed (she had no clue and had to verify it with one of her coworkers); I wanted the same type of oil that I had previously. I dont think thats a big ask, considering that its in the system. They later acknowledged that a mistake was made, but there was nothing that they could do about it. I typically try to be understanding about these type of things, but this isnt my 1st run-in with issues in Wal-Mart automotive (I once had an oil leak bc they didnt tighten the cap after the oil change, and I had to pay for more oil to replace what was lost :/). These along with other issues add up and can become pricy for the consumer. It is now essential that I find another location to get my oil changed (one that is consistent with knowledgeable, professional individuals).
Poor customer service and a really unorganized system will not allow me to return. The inappropriate conversation between the young ladies at the counter was more than I bargained for. I will never pay to waste time and patronize a business that doesnt appreciate their customers.
The female team member at the counter seemed a little overwhelmed and unorganized initially, but overall the service team did a great job putting on my new tires. I even caught the tech (on my way out) hitting a couple donuts to test drive!! Lol ...it was cool! I was glad they took concern!
My experience was great. All my questions were answered and they were able to replace my battery with no trouble and it took very little time to do so.
When I go here their always FAST and courteous.. great customer service I would give 10 π if it were applicable
They didnt have the tools to do an oil change on a Volkswagen Jetta. But its Walmart. Unfortunately, you cant be surprised. smh

No one greeted you when you drive up; no one acknowledges you when you walk in the store. A group of highly inebriated dirty men all walk around like zombies mumbling inaudibles. Its a joke. I came in to buy 2 new tires and waited around 2 hours for them to finish after the dopey guy at the counter promised a mere 30 minute job. He avoided eye contact when he did try and formulate sentences and then hed leave and go stand outside with his hands on his hips while 10 customers waited in line at the counter. These people are high and inefficient and slow af.

Waited almost 3 hrs for a oil change...oil was all over my car afterwards. No sticker for next service. I had to get my car rechecked bc it was smoking afterwards and there was too much oil in it. Will go back to speak to management. Horrible service!!
