Very poor customer service, and inconvenient hours. They gave up on my job. Asked them to remove and replace a demilled receiver. They said they worked on it for 2 hours, then gave up. I didnt hear anything for two weeks.
Proceed with caution on the billing practices of this company. I had this company case color an 1885 and high polish blue the barrel. My gunsmith had already pre-polished the action and had done a little work on the barrel. He said that they probably would have to spend 1-2 hours on the barrel, and if anything on the action...maybe an hour to touch it up. When it came time to pay up...I was charged 6.5 hours of polishing on the action and 1 hour on the barrel. From my years of polishing, I know for a fact it did not take 6.5 hours to polish an action that was already polished. Ive had 3 - 1885s, 1- 1874 Sharps and 2 Hepburns done by Doug Turnbull and never came close to being charged for 6.5 hours of polish work. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson with Wyoming Armory!!!
Quick and reasonable. Know what they are doing. If you need color case hardening, these are the guys.
These are the guys! Sent them a beat up old family rifle and what came back to me was has become my favorite gun! Their work is second to none, case colors are to die for!
