Nice story, but expensive. They did not have a big selection of cowboy hats, so I had to go elsewhere. Loved a few of their items by it not for the prices.

Cowboys Palace is a little gem in Cody. Staff was friendly and they had a great selection in jeans, shirts and boots.

Im a country western performer out of salt lake. I needed a new hat for my performances. Being in Cody, I thought it would be great to have a Wyoming cowboy hat. I was there with 3 friends. I was trying on a variety of ways when the sales person belligerently said quit trying on hats unless your serious about buying one. This embarrassed me in front of my friends and was completely uncalled for. I asked him if he would buy a hat without trying it on and I was serious about buying a hat. But not from here. Complete unprofessional. Plenty of other places to buy a nice hat.

They have what Western stores usually have, but thats not the point, the guy working there is so friendly and helpful. Whats more, this is a huge store, so even if all the Western stores sell the same brands, this one may have more designs.

The owner is a great guy. I met him when I came in a couple days ago. We had a great conversation with our similarities and he is very friendly and helpful. I love the playful dog in there too. I am an airline pilot from CA and turns out we have roots from the same area. I really enjoyed my visit. Will definitely come back next time I am in Cody!

Very nice store, very nice staff ... but, buyer beware! Many items are China made. We did find one brand that was Made in USA - but we were VERY disappointed that a place called the Cowboy Palace had so many China products. Change buyers and Id go back and gladly pay a little more for products from U.S.

Best place in Cody, Wyoming to get outfitted for your Western attire. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have the bests brands for quality and prices are reasonable.

I like loud and crazy cowboy shirts and sometimes more conservative Wrangler shirts to punch cows in. This is a fantastic western wear store. Seems like its easy to find good outfits. I bought a blue dark shirt and a Wyoming traders camel colored vest to wear over it; it was on display together, somebody had put the outfit together. I wore it country western dancing and ended up going home with a woman and sleeping with her. This place gets 6/5 stars for that!

Even though we only purchased a small item from the shop the owner was very helpful in helping us find other items including a hat from an other dealer who was just across the road. As he did not stock what I was after. Being a tourist from France and just travelling through I cannot say enough but thanks

I did not buy anything in the store because its not quite my style, but from the look of it the place had all the western wear that one person could possibly want. The items looked at high quality and the store was buzzing the evening we went in. Staff was friendly

Went looking for small souvenirs and this was the only shop open after 6PM (off-season). The lady working was very friendly and very helpful; I got the souvenir I was after and more. If youre looking for boots or other attire, this should be your first and only stop.

The Cowboy Palace has the most deceptive returns policy I have ever encountered. Not only do they fail to keep promises to their customer, they do not respond to the Better Business Bureau. These people are totally dishonest.

They had the hat we wanted but being on main street during tourist season they were priced 10-15 bucks higher than what we got up the hill. Great service tho.

Great place to get your cowboy stuff. Good prices on kids stuff as well. The also have some custom log furniture in the upstairs.

The Cowboy Palace is a cute shop specializing in hats, boots and western clothing that is not overpriced.My husband found an excellent pair of workboots that were cheaper than any store and a comparable price to Amazon. The owner was working and said he was keeping the store open as late as there were customers, and there were four of us in the store at 1030 pm. Very friendly.
