So my husband went back to Gunther Volvo!!, and the Finance Person in charge Sergio and the sales managers find the right vehicle for my husband exactly what he was looking for, they took their time to explain everything they even transport the vehicle from another dealer, they went above and beyond to satisfy his needs!!! Great experience working with Nick at this location. After leaving another dealership, this was a breath of fresh air. Nick was personable, knowledgeable, and invested in making the deal. First encounter with Matt there was an immediate pleasure. Clearly hes a professional & I appreciated his knowledge & courtesy. Only did a test drive of a Mitsubishi which Matt made very pleasurable & I felt like a friend was taking me out for the test drive.So far Im liking the process. They do not have the vehicle with the features Im looking for at this moment, but with how I was treated & the fairness they seem to operate on, Im willing to wait on them to get the model I want. I definitely would prefer to buy a car from Matt than from anyone else at this moment. His first impressions was that good. Ill update this post if & when we close a deal.Update..... So I was able to close the deal on my new Outlander with Matt. Wouldnt say I got the best deal in the world due to the existing market but was overall pleased with the process and appreciate that they made the effort to get the model with the features I wanted & more.I think this was the shortest time I spent closing a car deal the day of purchase. Pierre Laguerre, Sergio, and the rest of the Gunther Volvo Coconut Creek team involved in my purchase made my car buying experience the BEST one yet. I have zero regrets working with this dealership. Pierre was very genuine and did not play typical car salesman games. He was a straight shooter, which is my style of doing business. Gunther Volvo, take care of him and the finance manager Sergio, who also presented many great options. In retrospect, I definitely recommend doing business here as long as they keep genuine employees such as Pierre and Sergio.
PROPERTY DAMAGE AND FRAUD at Gunther Volvo COCONUT CREEK. I took my recently purchased Volvo to this location to get a simple oil change, and I asked for the full synthetic oil which runs for 10K miles. I also ask for a price quote to fix or replace the passenger mirror, because I noticed it vibrates on the freeway. After at least 2 hours of waiting in an 99% empty waiting room, I went to the service desk and asked if my car was ready. The service agent said, oh Tanner left for lunch and the car was ready. Before leaving, I noticed my passenger mirror was pulled almost completely off and it was resting on the inside of the mirror housing. It looked like Tanner pulled off my mirror and went to lunch and when inquiring as to what happened, his buddy hit me with a $188 bill to replace the mirror. I also noticed that the service used semi-synthetic oil instead of full synthetic oil and charged me for the full synthetic oil (See enclosed invoice). I called the dealership and asked to speak to the service manager to see what is going on with the service department - what a disaster, and I was repeated misled by every single employee from the operator to the employees in sales and service. For example, some guy identified himself as Larry, the service manager, when in fact the service manager was Patricia and the other was David. When I asked to speak with the GM, they gave me Joe Gunther, the GM of Delray, instead of Rob Klein and on and on. I left messages and no one returned my calls. The dealership chose silence as the best way to deal with the unlawful acts of their employees who deliberately engaged in fraud (used less quality oil and charged for quality oil and deliberately damaged property (mirror) to charge for labor and repair). Lets see how that worked out for them. Patricia, YOUR A DISGRACE AND YOU SHOULD BE FIRED FOR FAILING TO CARRY OUT YOUR MANAGERIAL DUTIES AND FAILING TO INVESTIGATE THE FRAUD PERPETRATED BY YOUR EMPLOYEES WHICH NOW HAS MADE YOU CULPABLE. ROB Klein, YOUR DEALERSHIP IS A FAKE AND A FRAUD AND YOU SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED! How many more people have you cheated, deceived and defrauded to unjustly enrich yourself. I strongly DO NOT recommend this dealership for servicing your car.

Buying a car can be stressful in its own so I was happy when the salesmen seemed very helpful & accommodating. I bought a used car from this dealership but it was not a Volvo (probably first mistake) I had an issue that needed to be addressed. I was in contact with the salesman that same day & said he would be happy to help. Long story short gave me a run around for weeks. Told me he would make an appt for service for me & then told me someone from service would contact me. I heard nothing & even tried contacting service myself. Its is very disappointing to know salesman aka the floor manager are just there for the sale & do not follow up with their clients to possible break the stigma on just being a salesman & not caring about building relationships with clients & gaining repeat business. Maybe it was because I was buying a used car & not a Volvo. Lesson learned. Very disappointed

Its a real shame that Gunther Volvo of Coconut Creek has no Courtesy Loaners. My vehicle is in the shop for the next week and I have to rent a vehicle from Enterprise. The only Enterprise with availability is 18 miles away and the Courtesy shuttle will not take us that far so they are dropping us off on the corner of the furthest street. There is no communication between Volvo or Enterprise whatsoever. For the amount of money being paid for a Volvo one would expect better service. I am never buying another Volvo. I will be going back to Mercedes where they have Courtesy Loaners at the dealership for customers. I am a very patient person but this runaround is what I wanted to avoid and is why the experience/convenience that a dealership provides means more to me than the money I spend.I hope when considering a vehicle people understand I love my Volvo but the dealership needs to rethink how they cater to their customers in the service department. This is extremely inconvenient and a waste of time. I would rather pay a bit more and have a Courtesy Loaner than waste my time and be dropped off on a corner.I hope this review reaches the right people in Volvo and I hope those of you that are thinking of buying one do not have this same experience.
The Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced your scheduled and appointment time and show up on time and no one checks you in at all 30mins I waited no help so I left this car has to go!!! So OVER COCONUT CREEK VOLVO service department and the unfriendly rude employees this place is the pits horrible. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this type of service from them.
I had a fantastic experience with the sales associate, Amanda, she wasn’t pushy or aggressive. I love how she greeted us and then said to text her if there were any vehicles we wanted to see. I was also very pleased with the financial guy, Mike, not pushy and very direct with a little sass. I would highly recommend and would return to Volvo at Coconut Creek.
I take my dog Coco everywhere because honestly he is better than me in reading the vibes pf a place. I have to say he was very happy yesterday and well behaved while we got our new xc40. Issam made the whole transaction very smooth and transparent. Everyone was super nice and we got a pretty good deal on the car too. I highly recommend them!

I didnt feel rushed or pushed to buy anything, although I wouldve liked to be given my keys back instead of the manager holding on to them while I was talking with the salesman.My only issue is with the car. The vehicle is exactly what is described by almost every review; quick and fun with a luxurious interior. The original car I purchased had an electrical issue with the batteries and I was not able to take it home that evening, they set me up in a rental and told me they would be in contact the next day. Around 11am the next morning I received a phone call from the salesman stating the issue couldnt be fixed and that they had gone to another one of their dealers to get me a new car.No issue with that, they even came to my house to deliver it and have me sign new paperwork with the new VIN on it which I thought was a very personal touch.Two days later my new car that was delivered started having an electrical issue, the main display did not work consistently and the radio refused to work for more than a few seconds on any input. On top of that, there was water coming out below the dashboard on the passenger side. While it may not seem like a big deal to some, to me, a $60,000 vehicle should probably not have a clogged drain pipe as they suggested it more than likely was or any of these other issues.Now I have another loaner vehicle and I am second guessing my purchase because of the issues. While my feelings may partially be chalked up to buyers remorse, I feel let down by Volvo itself. I expected more.I will more than likely be taking this vehicle over to the VW dealership next door once I get it back and trade it in for the ID4, at least I would save $10,000 and get free electric charging for 3 years with it.
I visited several dealerships recently in a search for a low mileage, used, well priced Toyota Corolla for my sister. Most of these visits were horrible, Gunther Volvo however was an exception, Tom our salesman made our visit a pleasant experience. He listened to understand our needs, and work with his manager to make the deal. The manager also was very nice. Their car was priced better then most similar cars in the area. It is so much nicer when you get to interact with honest and respectful people. I definitely recommend this dealer to all my friends and family who look to purchase a car.

Why bother making an appointment when they dont service timely? 830a service appointment. Call 4 hours later, nothing. 5 hours later they hadnt even lifted the hood. 8 hours later my car is ready from a basic service. Youd think theyd wipe down the dash, run a vacuum... nope. Standing around waiting for paperwork to be printed because it wasnt pulled. Volvo used to have a modicum of class. Not anymore, not an ounce of pride or professionalism was displayed.

**WARNING** worst Volvo dealership in South Florida. GM John Falciglia decided to insults my family for not buying a vehicle that we was not happy with. He started raising his voice yelling at my 60 year old mother and telling us that we will not find a better deal. The professionalism of him and the staff is non existent and saddens me for a small man to attack his customers. Sales manager Deante Powell is a dishonest and clueless person who tells his customers promises that he can not keep and is controlled by his puppet John Falciglia. If you’re looking for a great car buying experience this is not the place save your time and money.

Very good customer service with a streamlined process. My sales person, Andrew Bossard was very helpful throughout the entire process. I came from Savannah, GA, a 180 mile drive. They had the car I wanted, but I didn’t want to drive that distance until I was confident in the deal. He was willing to work everything over the phone until I was comfortable with the figures and the deal. Once I arrived the car, and paperwork were ready. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes.

Service Team is a complete joke. Just leased my first Volvo and called for my first service and I spoke to service advisor. I asked him if I could go to Gunther Volkswagen for service because its down the street from my house, and he said yea sure. I scheduled appointment at the Volkswagen dealership explaining that I have a Volvo. Pull up to my appointment this morning and told me they cant service my Volvo. I call Volvo to schedule an appointment and I am a frustrated at this point. I explain the situation from this morning and she sounded like she can careless. I leased 2 Volvos and its going to be my last 2 from Gunther!
Just leased a new Volvo and couldn’t have had a better experience than the one I had. Our salesman Issam was super helpful when I called inquiring about a specific car. I let him know my budget and the cars I liked from their cars in stock. He called me back within 30 mins and laid out all my options. Went in that same day, and he had the car in the front so I could look at it and test drive it. The car looks and drives amazing! Issam worked the numbers we had spoken about and made it happen. He took us after to Michael in the finance department and he also was extremely helpful and genuinely nice. Both Issam and Michael made the dealer experience exceptionally easy and quick. Within 2 1/2 hours all the paper work was done and the car was ready to be taken home. I highly recommend this dealer and ask for Issam and Michael to make your car purchase experience as seemingly easy as possible, no run around, friendly and very honest!!!

(Big price difference) we went into vw, and was told why didnt you come in yesterday we would have done anything you asked so I replied why cant you do it today he said its the 1st of December. We then went to Volvo, and they worked with us, no hassle. They met the payment we wanted without fighting us, and everything was done in 45 minutes. Thank you Volvo and Tom L. The $ 129.00 is in addition to what it costs to fix the car regardless!!!. Go to Weston Volvo, they only charge you the diagnostic if you decide not to fix the car. 2018 S60The actual car buying experience was good. I had an appointment to test drive a vehicle and made the purchase. The entire process took a little over 3 hours. The salesperson, sales manager, and finance major were all very professional. The car was detailed and delivered looking like new.What I did take exception to is the first day the low battery light came on. I called my salesperson who scheduled an appointment for me to go in at noon. By 1:00, it still hadnt been looked at. When they finally ran the diagnostics, the battery failed and needed to be changed. Another 2.5 hours of my day spent there.Now one of the tires keeps running low. When I took it to get air, the mechanic said that the 2 front tires will need to be changed soon since they are dry rotted.I know that battery and tires are a part of normal wear and tear but I feel like these shouldnt be things to have to worry about within the first couple of weeks of driving off of the lot with a vehicle that is Volvo certified.
Ask for Sham in sales he is the best of the best. He really knows his stuff all about the brand and cars. He’s the type of sales person who wants to get the best deal for the customer and worked very hard for us and my wife and I can’t thank him enough. The entire Gunther team made it very easy. Also if you need service Tanner is the guy to go to he understands the true meaning of customer service!

Car got into the service because an accident and the windshield along with a sunroof panel need to be completely replace. 1st overlook discrepancy was the prices charges at the dealer vs a price from another Volvo dealer out of state, a 50% plus difference, not acceptable, the 2nd was the car was returned not proper vacuum, inside glass founded all over the car, that almost got my son injured due to all sharp glass all over the back seat. I will mention that the service consultant Mr. Jordan Krate was professional and Ill give him a extremely satisfactory rate, this will be the only option for me to return to the same dealer.
This is my first Volvo after many leased lexus and let me tell you Carlos made the whole experience easy and wonderful! He answers when you need him, gives you many options, as well as tries his best to get you the best price! I am so happy I switched to Volvo and love all the new features the 2021 XC40 has! Even though I always have a great experience with the service department in particular with Rennie my great and professional service specialist, I can’t say the same about the sales department. Today I went to see if I could change my car and since arriving the salesman just didn’t have any interest on helping or selling us a car with his negative attitude.I really thought that during this tough times people really want to work hard, him and his associate just didn’t want to help us.Loosing a sell seemed more interesting .Shame.They should learn from the salesmen at Gunther VW like John Shorter, great man as Rennie.

A horrible buying experience from this place. From the car being completely misrepresented by the online ad and the salesman to never receiving all weather mats and monetary refund that I was promised, I cannot stress enough how hard these folks are to work with. There is absolutely no price transparency due to a combination of them not having a clue what they’re doing and being extremely dishonest. Don’t except anyone to return your calls or work with you at all once the sale is complete.Stay far away from this place. Volvos are great cars but I’d recommend buying them from pretty much any other dealer.
It took 3 HOURS for an oil change and tire rotation. Why did I bother making an appointment? I could have gone to Jiffy Lube and been in and out in 30 minut.

Gunther Volvo will be the only place I will be taking my XC40 from now on to be serviced. I had a rattle coming from the touch screen and AC vent area. North Miami Volvo could not Replicate the problem after countless visits and wasted time. I scheduled a appointment and met with Rennie the service advisor and he instantly knew of the problem and promptly had it fixed. You cant imagine how much that rattle was driving me crazy. Thank you so much Rennie! I know you are married but if you want to grab drinks call me ; )
We tried going back to the Steeler ship for service for our Volvo again. We received a recall notice called ahead of time and set up an appointment. When we get to the service department they tell us at that recall notice and parts will not be available till November. We asked why if the recall will not be until November did you make an appointment for today. They had no answer. We were trying to give this dealership the benefit of the doubt with the past problems with their service however they have not improved. We will never go back again.
Rude reseption lady at the front looks like a clown with all the makeup on waited for about 15 minutes be for she even helped me. Had an attude when I went to return a lease. Wanted me to do her job u got leages walk and get the info your self. Lazy

IveI never enjoyed going to a dealership in the 20 years Ive been here in Florida until I enter this place. First when you enter some friendly people say hello to you and sellers do not jump on you as usual. Nice cappuccino and great variety of coffee is offered and the whole place is all new and nice.We got Tom as our seller and we where so grateful that we know for sure we will come back to get our next car whenever I need it again. The best is that they run a honest shop where they come up with best price and you dont have to beg for discounts like all dealers elsewhere...Highly recommended, very well run place.

Many times, when you go car shopping, the salesman can talk and talk, and then try getting you to see the manager. Sam was easy gping and let US decide what we wanted to do. My wife and I stopped in to Gunther Volvo as my wife was interested in seeing a Volvo SUV since she researched and said its the safest car on the road. After test driving she decided that was the car for her and the lease on her Lexus was expiring in a few months. Our Salesman, Andrew, and the Sales Manager, were excellent to work with and a very fair deal was made. I thought that was the end until Andrew, our young and bright salesman, said to me, your lease is expiring soon also, why dont you look at a Volvo sedan; having absolutely no intention of buying a car that day, I test drove the S90 Sedan and it was fabulous, but I still had no intention of buying that car when In saw the Sticker price; needless to say, after very little negotiations, I also purchased my new Volvo at a very unbelievable price which I have had now for two weeks; I can honestly say its finest car I have ever driven, including Mercedes and Lexus sedans; the staff at Gunther Volvo are outstanding, knowledgeable, courteous and easy to work with; I highly recommend Gunther Volvo; this was the first and only time I had been in Gunther Volvo and we have no affiliation with them at all; I highly recommend them!!!!!!

I’ve been to almost every Volvo service center in South Florida region and Gunther service department is actually knowledgeable of fixing my car is problem giving me a realistic timetable for the repair and also helping me with a loaner car if needed. Some places just want your money and to get you in and then once they have your car they don’t care about your time Gunter will actually make sure it gets back with a speedy process.

I love cars, but really hate the buying/leasing experience. Why? There are always surprises, endless negotiations, etc.... Not here. I found my XC90 online, exchanged a couple of e-mails with Jonathan and closed the deal (200 miles away from the dealership). A couple of days later, I went to pick up the vehicle, and as mentioned before, no surprises, Jonathan was extremely nice and organized. Zaid (Finance) was also super nice and efficient. 5 stars for the staff!!! Highly recommended!
This process has been horrible. I was scheduled for a service appointment that was not needed because the sales system is not in sync with the service system. I called multiple times to try to confirm that I would have a loaner car. I didnt I was given a horrific rental car by enterprise that was damaged, dirty and had old food in it. When I came to pick up my car this was a chip in the paint. I had to bring my car back a week later to have it fixed. The fix was horrible, my car had to . go to a body shop, and i was told the only car available was a minivan. When I called the dealership I was told that they would not up my rental car amount and i had to deal with it. I insisted on a different manager reviewing until . the situation was handled. Allin . I have been without my car for a total of 9 days and counting all because a sale was more important than being thorough. So I guess we will see when I get my car back.

This dealer is soo difficult to deal with. You would think they would be more responsive during Covid but its like they dont care. I guess they are selling a lot of cars and dont need new customers. I bought a volvo XC90 from a different dealer this weekend and they were great.
From the moment I first walked into the Gunther Volvo dealership in Coconut Creek, I felt good vibes, and just from the way I was greeted. Matt, my salesman, took care of me all the way, making me feel comfortable with NO pressures. Then with the help of the finance manager they were able to tailor the perfect deal for me - just what I was looking for in turns of the right car for the right price.Im very pleased with my deal, and would definitely recommend them to all my friends.

I came in for service: check engine light came on that morning, and they were able to accommodate me within a couple of hours. David Butterly greeted me and promised he would have me out of there as soon as possible. He showed genuine concern and care during the entire conversation - something very rare these days. He then directed me to the waiting area and offered me a coffee. Sure enough, my vehicle was returned to me all washed and clean within an hour or so. Im very happy, and would recommend Gunther Volvo and David to everyone.
If youve ever wondered where the stereotype of the dishonest car salesman originated, wonder no more. I was flat out lied to at Gunther Volvo in order to make the sale, and then the salesman who was so eager to sell me a car no longer had any time for me. Despite many efforts, no call backs from the owner or the manager.
Bought from 600+ miles away and would do it again. Jared Williams was very easy to work with via email, and did a fantastic job getting us the paperwork to sign and return, and also w/ arranging transportation of our vehicle to us. He followed up for weeks after to make sure a minor issue we noticed at delivery was taken care of. Highly recommend!

I had planned on going to a few different car dealerships that day and started with Volvo because a co-worker said the Volvos recently redesigned their sedans. So, I figured why not. I had recently had my car stolen so I was not looking forward to going through the process again after had done it a year ago. Walked into Volvo and Julian happened to be walking by. So glad I took the chance with Volvo and ran into Julian. Julian took the time to explain everything the cars had to offer, went on test drives, and helped search high and low for the color I wanted and the features. The experience was great. No matter what you are going to spend a lot of time with this process but when you end up getting what you love for a great price, its worth it. Miguel from the finance department was just as great! He made the process quick and painless...by this time it was 9pm and they had been closed for 3 hours! Cant say enough good things about the experience and Julian and Miguel - They are awesome!!! Volvos are cool!!! Ill be spreading the word...
We had such a great experience with the sales team. We worked with Sergio and his manager. They were both great and went above and beyond to provide that extra level of service one wishes for.On the contrary, we took our vehicle in for warranty service just this past week and had an unpleasant experience with David Butley, the service manager. Not only did he feel the automated call should be a sufficient form of communication, he was rude and nasty. My wife called many times, left 3 messages, and sent text messages to David, simply to confirm that the automated message was accurate. However, we did not receive one return call. David handled this matter very poorly and turned a loyal customer away.Not sure who reads these reviews, but I would hope someone from the executive team other than David contacts me back.IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE:You have the wrong person. Ms. Cohen did not have a nail in her tire. You have the wrong person and/or wrong information. Please fact check better. She took her car in for other reasons. Also, I am surprised a 1 star review takes a week +/- to respond to. May I suggest next time maybe a phone call to start?

Super easy to work with. I worked with Julian Martinez, who is the internet sales person. We negotiated a price fairly quickly. I received a very good/fair offer. Once I walked into the dealership, the sale process was super easy. In and out in less than 2 hours. Would have been faster if I had filled out a finance application. Very good experience.
Gunther Salesman Tom Latesta was awesome! He did the homework and found the vehicle no other dealership could find.We tried for a few months through another dealership in weston to get this specific vehicle with no success, but Tom came through. The dealership worked with us to insure we got every benefit and discount available to us and we leased an XC90 from Gunther. We had a great experience, safe distancing procedures were in place and very comfortable. the whole process took 45minutes. Took car in for 100000 mile service at Volvo. Remmie is great to deal with. How ever I was told my tires were dry rotted and need to be replaced by the mechanic. This was not True. I know they work on commission but stop trying to rip people off. Got tire patched and was told I have no problem with the tire and should have another 4 or 5 thousand miles on these tires?
I went in to service my car for the first service, since purchasing. David was awesome through the entire process. Let me know what needed to be done, was up front about the approximate time for the car to be serviced and everything went as planned. My car also came back MUCH cleaner than when I drove it in :)! Excellent experience!
I was very surprised with a service that this dealer provides. Very straightforward, no back and forth. Sergio gave me very reasonable and fair price for the car I requested at the beginning and when I told that if he give me certain amount discount - I will take it. He gave it to me within 10 minutes and we made a deal. Very professional service has been provided by Segio and Yogi Gunther (financial guy). Usually when you buy a car this day may become a very stressful but these guys made day of purchase one of the happiest in my life. Received a recall notice regarding the door latches that can spontaneously open. Three calls to the dealership and they do not have the parts in stock. Ironically I purchased a Volvo for safety purposes and it turns out my doors may not be securely latched.
This all happened in 2 minutes. The manager (Scott) walked into the room, only acknowledged my husband literally told us he didn’t want our business and to leave. I told him our budget n he basically asked why was that our budget. He then tried to get us to spend 10k more than our budget. He didnt offer us another car within budget. I told him he was coming off too aggressive and his demeanor was too strong on. He told us to leave and he didnt want our business. I dont like writing bad reviews but no one should be treated this way.
