Sketchy service and unprofessional management. In the morning of late May of this year, I took my Subaru Forester in for a 105k service package and a recall noting that I would wait at the service center while work was being preformed. I was told the service might take some time so I found a ride for the day. Having heard nothing all day, I called at the end of the day and I was told my vehicle was ready for pick up. I went to check out and was told I was good to go, which confused me because when I had called previously I was told the 105k service would be around $300.00. Having heard my service was free, I questioned if I received the 105k package. My advisor looked confused and ruffled papers around, and then told me my oil had been changed and they just forgot to ring it up so I was free to go. I was prepared to pay for the service and did not expect to receive anything for free, but felt weary leaving without my multi-point inspection checklist or any type of documentation ensuring my vehicle was actually serviced. I hesitantly left and not even a mile down the road my oil light came on. I called and offered again to pay for the oil change, as I just wanted to be sure my car was serviced, and the advisor said they just needed to top me off and to drive back. Not even two months later, my oil light was back on, my car was shaking from desperate need of a new control arm that should have been caught in the multi-point inspection, and my a/c was cutting in and out with a dirty air cabin filter when my car wasnt due for another service until November 2021.When I called to speak with service manager here, he was incredibly unprofessional and combative. I only wanted to explain the situation, understanding my service was free, that I did not believe service was actually performed on my car and it was incredibly dangerous and irresponsible. I was scoffed at and told that the service center I took my car to subsequently was just trying to sell something to me. He then told me Subarus (mind you, at a Subaru dealership) have problems with low oil and its not their fault. He then proceeded to tell me, control arms need to be replaced sometimes, it happens. I dont think that a shaking car, oil light, and dysfunctional a/c system that were not detected at my scheduled service is someone trying to get one over on me. I only wanted to voice my frustration about the improper service I received, regardless of the cost. If something more serious had gone wrong, it could have been incredibly dangerous and would be due to the negligence of the service center.Id advise you not take your car here and demand documentation if you do.
Bought a new car here through Costco. They were pleasant, responsive and easy to work with. The facility is very nice too. Felt like I got a decent deal, but as one car salesman once told me, everyone who buys a car thinks they got a good deal, otherwise, they wouldnt have bought it.
Had a wonderful experience buying with Larry. It was clear that the whole team is not on commission and truly works together. Much better than some other dealerships where it all feels like a hustle. Shout out to Titus for showing me the features I had questions about as well. Love my 2020 Subaru Forester sport!
Great service. Dropped vehicle off early and they had it before my appointment time. Justin and Joe did an outstanding job.
My 1st time here, buying a car with my mom . They had a used Toyota for a good price, that was just to nice to pass up . Had a car salesman name TY, who treated us like family. Explained the process thoroughly and we agreed on a deal. If theres another car Im interested in or friends or family, is interested in,would go back and also recommend them .
The best service Ive ever purchasing a vehicle!!
Maybe the most friendly, professional service Ive ever gotten. Super impressed.
This review is long overdue. I Purchased a 2014 Mercedes Benz E Class Wagon. The car was immaculate. Everything was in great condition and the car was priced well under market value. I also received a competitive price on my trade in. Working with Ty was great. He is responsive and very helpful. He had a majority of paperwork ready to go before I got to the dealership. The closing was quick and easy. No strong armed closing tactics were used. And to boot when I got i home I realized the head rests for the 3rd row were missing and they ordered and mailed me a replacement. Highly recommend Auto Nation Subaru Hunt Valley.
This is where I will take my car until I no longer have a Subaru. They have consistently taken excellent care of me AND my vehicle. Add in they are dog friendly and I am 100% a fan.
Great service center that is clean and has nice areas for waiting. They also have coffee and juice available. Staff is nice and polite. Only issue is that a few times they missed notifying me when replacement parts arrived.
Took my Subaru in because it wouldn’t run. They quickly discovered that my neighborhood mechanic didn’t reinstall the air filter mechanism properly. They were kind enough to fix it for free and were also able to squeeze me in for a significant recall repair that needed to be done. Many kudos to Jason and the service manager for being so accommodating, polite and professional.
Got my car serviced by Trevor. Very professional & highly recommended. He went the extra miles to go over what my car needed/functions it has.
Friendly competent service. Very nice when they arent trying to sell tires too.
Good place to buy a car. They beat the pants off Carmax. I would recommend them over Carmax any day. Brian and Scott were a big help and made the process very easy. Thanks Brian and Scott.
Mark Kim took great care of me! Extremely transparent, honest, friendly, and kept me updated on the car I was interested in on my drive over. Made what could have been a very long day a great day :)
I have always had great service here! Maybe a little pricey, but you can often find coupons and the service really cant be beat.
Jermaine was excellent....courteous, pleasant, accommodating, and accurate in my wait time. I had a coupon that was misleading on purpose, which annoyed me, but he straightened it out and turned my experience around. Kudos!
In order to get the best rate they ran it through 5 banks which destroyed my credit. Dont use their fiance department
Fast, friendly service. Really appreciated the helpful, professional staff; got a surprisingly warm reception when I admitted to being Canadian. My new go-to service center. (Great job, guys!)
Bought my car here in January. Buying experience wasnt too bad until I delt with the financing. No only did i have to wait 3 hours to get the financing the rate i was quoted changed. Worse than that I never received a bill. Still worse of all my emails were ignored (though they did flood me wath advertisements). Finally worst of all when I called I was told its Saturday and our finance person is too busy to take 3 seconds out of his day to look to see were you need to make your payment. Had to demand someone look it up immediately. Also ran my credit to god knows how many times without telling me. I had excellent credit before this but it was dropped 50 points. Im in finance myself and know how unacceptable this is.
Very pleasant and quick I recommend calling them in advance
Best experience buying a vehicle Ive ever had
Hmm, havent had the best of luck with communication ordering parts. Had to call back everytime only to find it had been there a couple of days. One time the part came in incorrectly (left vs right) with the service person agreeing it was their fault. If it werent for the location convenience, the fruit in the waiting area, and the nice ladies who work there, Id go somewhere else.
Helpful and fast when I made an appointment had a blown out tire they they helped out with really fast and got me a shuttle promptly
ASK THEM NOT TO DRILL FRONT BUMPER PLATE HOLES!! They drilled the mounting holes in my front bumper instead of using preexisting holes for mount - didnt realize until removing the plate a month after purchase.
Bought a car from there what else could i say
I recently purchased a used BMW X5 through this dealer. I had searched all over the year, specific model and features. This dealer had it so I did a facetime look at the car with the dealer rep. It looked like what I wanted so I arranged to train down from NJ to take delivery. Once I arrived they picked me up from the train station in Baltimore and delivered me to the dealer. When i arrived I learned the check engine light had come on since I had them show me the vehicle. I was very hesitant to buy the car but they told me the code that had shown up and assured me they would take care of the cost of repairing it back where I lived in NJ. True to their word that is what they did. It made me nervous, but they stood by their vehicle and covered the entire repair (diesel system needed repair). All their staff was courteous and made the effort less stressful.
Appointment made on advertised price. Advertised price not honored over “internet glitch”. Do not buy from this dealership. Ridiculous considering the epidemic to waste peoples time like this traveling for a ruse.
Got me a Forester XT Touring with only 9k miles on it, for a great price! Every other dealership was charging way more!
I dont visit often, but when I do,Im treated great.
I went here to trade my car, NEVER EVER go to this dealer they will rob you, they will give you the worst trade in value of your car. I left that place and went to Herb Gordon Subaru and men staff and manager dont play around they will maximize the value of your trade in Herb Gordon Subaru is way better
I would choose Larry if I ever went back to buy another car from them.
Good service.
Fast and attentive
AWESOME car buying experience! Jeff is a great sales guy!
