Good selection and prices. Clean, relatively modern store. Ample parking. Attentive staff. Easy to find. Store brands and options for organic produce are plentiful. Overall good experience. I will shop there again, for sure!

The deli department is VERY short staffed which causes for a long wait! I don’t blame the deli staff, I blame management!! Are you not aware that there’s only ONE guy in the deli department doing his very best to handle multiple orders at one time or are you too great and grand to pull up your sleeves and “manage” which equals HELPING him!! Unbelievable and disappointing.

I love this ShopRite Store! Any time Ive popped in to grab some hard to find ingredients that other stores just dont carry, the employees at this location go out of their way to help me.I needed short ribs for a weekend family get together. The employee across the street at Stop and Shop laughed at me. He said we havent carried those in weeks. So over to ShopRite I go where the meat cutter offered, Sure I have some if you dont mind waiting a minute, Ill go cut them fresh for you!I walked straight up front to the manager and explained that I will be shopping here from now on. Well done ShopRite.

If you are shopping to get home delivery, and your picking your items with the weeks circular or sals that are going on for that week, but get your delivery for Sunday, you will lose all the sale items. Because they will take the new weeks circular for Sunday. My Saturday total was $128.35 on line. Sunday email said my total is now $143.96. At Stop & Shop they would have not changed the price. They charge you on the day you place the order.

Beware of a ShopRite employee in the seafood department named, Heather. She refuses to sell certain seafood products. She doesnt represent ShopRite in a positive manner. The manager actually had to put a bell on the seafood counter for customers to ring, because they can ever find her. they need to find someone in that seafood department more reliable and someone friendly to customers. She does not belong there.

I dont agree with how they have redone the aisles because they are completely different from before. Also, their employees are immature, lazy, and barely give any kind of customer service. The last time I was there shopping, I had a very large shopping order that had my cart overflowing. They would not let me go through the self-checkout; which would have been better so I had more space to fill my bags and not bother a cashier. They refused so I had to go to one cashier, and he helped me bag everything. My cart with all of my bags was extremely hard to navigate. As soon as I hit the little bump going out the door, I had groceries fall all over the floor. You would think if someone actually cared, that someone would have rushed to help me; and possibly help me get my cart outside to my car. I got no help whatsoever from anyone in that store, and that includes the person who was doing carts. I was so upset and frustrated that no one would come to help me; that I cried on my way to my car. I would suggest NEVER going there for large orders of grocery shopping because I can guarantee that no one will come help you, if they see you struggling with anything when you are checking out. I write this because I would hate to have an instance like mine to happen to anyone else. It is so much better to go to Stop & Shop in Clinton because they will actually offer to help bring your groceries to your car, if your order is so large (And there are always people around to help). Also, the new Big Y right off the highway at exit 63, just opened last Thursday, and I can only imagine how beautiful it is inside. There are many other options to go to that you can get better customer service then what I got at ShopRite.

Not to many store doing anything to help seniors out! But, the lines tend to get long and everyone is paying with a personal check ! If u r not in a rush its no big deal!

You lost a customer today. You only have 2 lanes open I was stand in line for over 5mins I step up to put my stuff on the belt and the guy had turned the light in the mean time, he turns and looks at me and says Im closed. I told him Ive been in line for awhile and with a rude tone said fine Ill take you. So instead I just went to self checkout which you are not cleaning between customers just like you dont disinfect your carts. Im Im done.

Make the drive to Walmart. Prices at ShopRite are literally double in most cases. They also charge for paper bags. At their high prices they could at least not charge for a sack.

Only good if you plan on buying in bulk because everything on sale requires you to buy so many or spend so much. The self checkout is so annoying because if you put your reusable bags on the scale it wont work and needs an employee to fix it.

Was just there picking up ice cream for yhe night. Have shopped at this location for many years and never had a problem. Tonight i went in and there was someone without a mask (who was clearly aggressive about being called out), despite the numerous signs stating masks were required to be in the store. They clearly wont enforce their own rules, and i wont put my safety and the safety of my family at risk to shop here.

Nice store, with a awesome staff, & customers often speak. Although theyre remodeling, store always remains very clean & neat. Usually have good sales. Store is usually well stocked, even with all the craziness around us going on, with the virus. Great store, overall.

Nice little store but the deli and meat department didnt seem that clean. Meat case has look like they havent been cleaned in sometime glass had build-up of dirt on it. Both departments were somewhat dark and dingy looking. Chose not to purchase any cold cuts or meets there.Could be a nice little store if management cared.

I love this store.. their produce is very well presented.. I find the price very very competitive.. sometimes I think how do they do it.. when they have a good weekly sale promotion... It is amazing.. time to stock up . The deli is very clean and organized..their cooked whole chicken is Perdue.. none better.. but the real star goes to seafood department.. thats where I live . This is the third time I gave this store a chance hoping my experience would be better and was disappointed each time. The staff is very unprofessional and act like they cant be bothered with guestions and lack interacting with the customer.At one time I loved this store but so much has changed here since they changed hands, higher prices, low grade produce, sale prices ring up different at the register, in my case just all around bad experience, wont be shopping here anymore, willing to pay a little more money for better quality for my family.

We just returned from shopping at the store in Clinton. We arrived there at 8 AM. They still do not have any paper towels or bathroom tissues. We had reviewed the specials advertised in the local newspapers for this week. They included Coke cherry vanilla cans 2 for $4 and Canada Dry Ginger Ale Bottles 8 pack or cans 12-pack 3 for $9,.88. None of these were available at that time in the early morning. However, there were 6 packs of Canada Dry in cans. We asked Customet Service whether taking four 6 packs of these cans would meet the coupon requirement. The answer was No. After finishing our shopping, we went to Customer Service again and asked for rain checks for these items. The answer from the same representative was We arent doing rain checks any more.We have been shopping at this store ever since Shoprite bought it from Shaws. Late last year, the former owner sold it to the present owner. Last week, the deli meat department had one worker, Tom, trying to service a dozen waiting customers until two of us complained to management. I suggest that those in charge take a course in Customer Service. I noticed a marked increase in the number of cars shopping at nearby Stop & Shop. I wonder why?

If I could rate negative stars I would, Willing to lose a customer over $3.49, I have been shopping at this store all summer the deli staff is amazing and normally the cashiers are great, I spend 200-300 a week there, today I went in spent 200.00 told the kid I had water under the cart however him and another cashier was too interested in talking about girls and the fact the other cashier was making him hungry What this lead too is after I paid the security guard and the manager on duty followed me out and stopped my daughter as I was walking to Joanne fabrics. They did not tell my daughter what was going on and said is that your mom, and told me I needed to come back into the store, they had a duplicate receipt and I had not paid for the water. I said I am sorry I told the kid that I had it, he must have missed it but it was ok I did not need the water because at that point I did not feel like going back into the store to pay when everyone was staring. The security guard said that he could not take the water and that I was shoplifting and people steal water and lobster all the time ! I was horrified and looked at the manager and said I’d this how you treat clusters if that was the case I wanted to return anything, this girl could not even deal and her response was you can’t return perishables, instead of I am sorry ma’am we made a move stake let’s take the water back. I once again reinforced I told them I had the water the security guard said he is a 16 year old kid and he said you never told him there was water . Instead of apologizing for the mistake taking the water and keeping a long term customer.

ShopRite Clinton is one of my most favorite stores. Its got everything I need : fresh produce, deli, Bakery, Seafood, dairy products, novelty ice creams, beverages, laundry detergent, even some electronics and much more. If you live in lower shoreline I highly I recommend this place. Happy Shopping !!!

Its not as modern and clean as I hoped. Prices are very competitive. The best place to by a 7lb. Lobster! Which is the only reason to come to this place. However from a design standpoint, Its dreadful, drab, and not inviting at all. The products were not diverse as in other Shop-Rites. Since Clinton is an upper class town, I was expecting a modern festive Whole Foods vibe. But all I saw was sad white and green decor that went out in mid 1980s.

Perhaps we didnt go in there was a big sale. We were very impressed by the prices nor were we impressed by the lack of organic selection. Perhaps it was just harder to find the organic stuff because at the time we had gone it was mixed in with everything else and there wasnt a specific section. If there was a specific section then it was pretty small compared to other places. However, that was when they first opened perhaps they have improved since then

Prices are good. However new owners have eliminated senior discount, and military discount. Coupons difficult to process. Fewer cash registers open.

This is the worst store ever. I am not sure how anyone could give this place more than 1 star. Smells like sewage all of the time. The deli is totally incompetent, apparently they do not sharpen their slicers since the meat is always thickly cut but still kinda shreds. The roast beef I just got is so thickly cut you can call it steak. Stay far far away from this store. They always let their frozen stuff thaw out then refreeze, you can tell because of all of the freezer burn on their frozen products. What your dates too they leave expired dairy out all of the time and we continually have to return exerted product. The produce is just gross looking. But they are the cheapest, but you cant use half of what you buy so a more expensive store is probably cheaper in the long run.

I have a bad experience 3 out of 5 times. I always say that I wont go back but sometimes its very convenient because I am in the same shopping center. Everything that was marked down rang up at regular price. I did not notice until I was in the parking lot. I went back in to the customer service desk and waited and waited...finally an employee said that the person working there was on break. So I did not get any service for at least 10 mins...terrible.

The employees of this Clinton store are extremely friendly and helpful. The produce section is a work of art in its freshness and selection. I really like this place!

The best strength of ShopRite is their ability to offer items that you just cant find in other regional supermarkets. If its ethnic food, random brands, or items that just arent available in the northeast, ShopRite as a whole generally always has it. The Clinton store is no different. Its great to have a store here thats not the same as Big Y or Stop & Shop. If you miss Waldbaums, dont need the upscale selection of a Fresh Market or Fairway, and want a great selection of hidden gems at better prices than Stop & Shop, this is worth it. Also, the coworkers in Clinton are exceedingly happy and helpful.

Helpful staff and great prices. Pharmacy is top notch too. Tracey, the head pharmacist, goes out of her way to make sure you understand your meds. Friendliest pharmacist around. ☺️

Their ground beef is loaded with gristle and the other beef is just not comparable in quality and flavor to other local providers

I dont usually go grocery shopping at ShopRite. Typically I go to Walmart for boxed and canned goods and Big Y for fresh produce, meat, and fish. I was happily surprised at my shopping experience at Shop Rite. I liked the brands of meat offered at the deli, and they had a wide selection of fresh fruit and produce. The staff was attentive, courteous, and respectful. Their prices were comparable to Big Y. I can definitely see myself shopping here again.

My favorite grocery store due to its pricing. ShopRite of Clinton offers digital coupons thru their app as well as paper coupons that are sent out in a local paper. While their selection of produce can use more diversity, they offer so many savings opportunities to their customers. In this day and age, saving $ is a definite perk to this store versus the other local supermarket that is overpriced.

Store has new owner, who is invested a lot of money in updating the stores appearance. The product selections has increase too.

This may sound strange but I like visiting grocery stores and other parts of the state when Im there. Everything at the store was top-notch staff friendly and helpful.

Always a good experience in this store. This time better because the recycling machines were working and i could get rid of the three bags of bottles in my trunk.

Relatively speaking and on average the prices are the best in the area but they are in sore need of an overhaul. All the surrounding ShopRite stores have updated/renovated and make this place look like a dump. The produce selection leaves much to be desired and you are way (WAY) overcharged for the quality. Weve shopped there for years and have seen bruised and rotting produce just sitting on the top. After several weeks of this I actually lost my cool and berated the produce manager who should be keeping better watch over the stock. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the management needs to get that store updated to the 21st century.

Completely different from ALL other Shop Rites. From the flyers coupons U have to go up to customer service & asking for coupons & they will ask rudely you really need ALL of them? WTH do you care, no really? Its not a regular SR is ALL I know. Hard to explain

The prices (and sales) are very good, but I get frustrated with the layout of the store. Beverages are scattered across multiple aisles so when youre looking for juice youre never really sure where to look. The same goes for bars. Depending on how they categorize the bar, fitness bars can be in one of two different aisles, or in a third aisle with granola bars/snacks.
