I wanted to write to compliment the dealership on my experience there. I preferred to do most of the discussion via email, and reached out to a number of dealerships. This dealership was BY FAR the most responsive and comprehensive in their response to my email inquiries. Many of the dealerships I contacted via email did not respond at all, or if they did it was with an automated email prompting me to call or come in. Even the ones that replied directly to my emails mostly were pretty dismissive of me, seeming to think that I was not a serious buyer since I was emailing about it rather than coming in. Chad and Jahiro seemed eager for my business whether it was online, in person, or on the phone. Billion provided every bit of information I requested promptly and didnt push for me to call or come in before I was ready. This made the process much easier to do during the work day, and much more comfortable with time to think and compare features and offers. Chad and Jahiro were incredibly responsive and proactive in looking for cars that fit my needs, and communicated with me regularly throughout the process. They seemed to recognize that I wanted this to be an online purchase and treated it with the same seriousness that they would have had I come in person. They made the process as easy and as efficient as possible. And, Billion was by far the most aggressive in pursuing cars from other locations, several of the dealers I spoke with basically said nope, cant get any cars, youll have to order one and it will be months. With Billion, I think it was about 3 weeks from when I first spoke with them to when the new car arrived. I was very happy with my purchase and my experience there, and have recommended it to several other people already!
Billion made buying my first Toyota and first brand new car effortless. They didn’t have the exact vehicle I wanted on Saturday, but had the extensive relationships to secure car the I wanted by the following Monday from another dealer. And at a great price! By Thursday the paint sealant and mud guards were on and the paperwork was ready. No surprises, the pricing and terms were exactly what we agreed on. Will be back again!
I would recommend going somewhere else. Salesman here give you bottom dollar for your cars, they want top dollar for their‘s, they are not willing to negotiate at all. I contacted them with two excellent running vehicles, they offered me less than market value for both of them, and they would not budge on the price of their 2010 vehicle I was trying to purchase. Salesman Sam had a bad attitude. He was very short and rude with me I do not recommend doing business with them as they are very unprofessional and not willing to negotiate. I believe after they found out I did not want to finance the vehicle through them, (I already have personal financing) attitudes changed and things got very uncomfortable. Go somewhere else folks!
I purchased a used vehicle from them on July 20th, 2021, they stated my title would be mailed to me after my bank check cleared which it did in a matter of days. It is now October 13th, 2021 and I have yet to receive my title, I have to drive my vehicle illegally because I cant license it, have not received my signed paperwork and due to them breaking Iowa law by not supplying me a title I now have numerous fines, penalties and have to pay over $1600 in sale tax that I would not have had to pay if they would have only followed the law. To make matters worse on 10/12/21 Chad Housenga the Sales Manager basically said they dont care and flat out told me its not their problem and will not make this right by paying me the cost Im incurring due to their negligence and failure to follow Iowa law. Im Quoting him after he admitted its their fault and asked it they would pay my fines he said I doubt that will happen Avoid them, character means everything now a days and they have none.10.14.21 AdditionIn response to the owners response. The quote is 100% accurate, those exact words were said when I requested a check be sent for my costs incurred due to not having a title. All correspondence needs to be in writing at this point, you have my email address. Btw, if the GM was so concerned, my phone should have rang yesterday...it didnt. If there is concern, email me so its documented.The offer to purchase it back was made on 10/12 at 11:25a.m almost three Months after purchase.
Im giving three stars because it was a very stressful experience & only relieved by the lady in financing who pulled it all together & saved the day. Ill admit it was our first time buying a new car so I cant speak from experience but when you have to hound your salesman to be able to pick up your new vehicle that was delivered four days earlier, doesnt make for a good start. To make it worse, when we arrived, we discovered there were poor assumptions made on how we were financing due to poor communication. All the sudden they could match our banks rate which was a complete 180 from they told us weeks ago. I hope they can gain some stars back when we need them for any warranty work.
So we bought our 1st and last vehicle from Billion Auto in Clinton, Salesman was great, There service sucks. Vehicle had problems the day we bought it and all we got was the run around. If you are thinking of buying from them I would find somewhere else to buy. When you spend 35K on a vehicle you would sure think they would make it right. I did buy a car but was a little disappointed that they would not come down on the price at all considering it was a cash sale. Thought that might help in negotiations, but it did not. There actually were zero negotiations. It was the listed price or nothing. The salesman did throw in a couple of extras, though, and he was very nice to work with. I just wish they would have been a little more flexible on the price....
Scheduled the first oil change for my 2021 GMC Sierra. They offered to do a recall update for the infotainment sytem at the same time and did so, as well as rotated the tires. The whole process was done quickly and professionaly.
This was perhaps the easiest experience Ive had at a dealership. Theyre price on the truck I wanted was well within blue book value and they offered me a great price on my trade. I had a great experience at billon of Clinton. Kale was very helpful and there wasnt a huge pressure for the up sale. I was treated with respect and not just a commission. They will get my business again.

Great looking vehicles, have to have a big monthly income to get a vehicle even though they finance. You can have a low income and would be able to afford the monthly payments, but dont qualify for a loan

They showed us a few cars that weren’t in our monthly price range and then eventually showed us a Dodge Journey. We showed interest after hearing the numbers and they kept making the deal sweet for us but their stories didn’t add up and they tried rushing it. After agreeing to a deal I got more pictures sent to us and they failed to mention their was a dinged up bumper. Mind you the entire time they showed us this car we never seen the front end until after Mike sent me pictures. They were very rude to my fiancé and I saying “we’ve worked on 15 cars trying to make 1 work” and AFTER I told them no they still messaged my fiancé asking about the offer and she said no and they said I thought the trade in value is way more than fair. They want to make sweet deals but they do it in a rude way. Don’t hide problems with cars till the very end.
The staff, especially Tara, we’re all very friendly and helpful. They did a great job accommodating my needs and worked very hard to get me into what I was looking for.
I am very happy with my experience purchasing a vehicle from Billion Auto. I dealt with James and Kory. Both wonderful people. I traveled 5 hours to buy here and the I would do it again. Also liked the pleasant surprise of the extended warranty they apply to qualifying vehicles at no additional cost.
Never have I been treated so poorly as I was from the sales manager at the Clinton store today. Sat in his chair looking at his phone not caring to work with me on the purchase of a new truck. Instead tried to sell me on something I had already told them I was not interested in. Had me drive down there to tell me they werent going to do anything an hour and a half after I had talked to the salesperson I was working with. Pitiful excuse for a sales manager! The previous manager I worked with did everything in his power to make me happy and work the sale. This guy could care less. Wont be going back again.

We LOVE this company! We purchased a Tundra from Javier at the Clinton, IA branch and we were so happy with the service that a year later, we bought a Dodge Nitro from Javier again. We did most of the work by phone and texting and it took about 45 mins to test drive, buy and do all the paperwork at the dealership a few days later. I had bought 2 vehicles from Billion in the past, so when the Derecho storm came through and wiped out my garage and new car I decided to go back to them for help. They were nice enough to give me a car to drive until I decided on another one My salesman was James, and was helpful but also Taher was very helpful in helping me deal with the insurance company. I had a recall fixed then it started making noise in the rear after going over a bump in the road when I brought it back to the dealership they didnt really care. I had to go to Chevy consumer service to get anything done. They said it was my shocks but it didnt make any noise before that recall fixed. Before when the dealership was McEleney Motors THEY CARED now with it being Billion Auto they dont care. I do all my maintenance at the dealership this shows me that I might have to go somewhere else also it shows me that CHEVY DONT CARE EITHER because they dont talk to their dealerships. I am not happy that I had to put out nearly $400 to fix a problem when they caused. Yes its my fault because I didnt take it back when I heard that noise next time if there is a next time I will. I wasnt offered any percentage off when it was their fault. I am just not happy with Billion Auto or Chevy you think they would care about the people who buy their vehicles.
Went today just to drop off a vehicle for repairs.found my dream car! I ended up trading my 2020 Equinox for a 2020 Chevy Blazer Blacked out! If you don’t care about your credit and like to have your credit dinged for nothing then billion is your place. No call back. So I call, was approved but need a downpayment. I had the down payment. Glad i was able to dodge this bullet. Run far away from this place. Oscar, the sales manager provide this type of service. If that’s how management treats their customers then just imagine the type of work they do or products they sell.

Unfortunately, a steady decline in service and support. Prices have gotten ridiculous ($70 for wipers, $50 for license plate light, which immediately failed) - This is not the same company it was even after it changed from McEleneys.
I really had a great experience with Billion in Clinton. I was pretty forward with my purchase. I told them I would drive to Clinton, which car I wanted, and that I wasnt looking for anything else, And that I needed to be preapproved before I drove down there to purchase my vehicle. I was not shown 500 vehicles, I was not given a million options. They just made it happen. I know it doesnt always go like this, but I appreciated it. Wyatt, Oscar and Paula were great. Everyone was happy, smiling, working hard. All questions were answered appropriately. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Nice work!

My daughters car was totaled by an uninsured driver. She decided she wanted a hybrid so we found a couple Prius’s on their website. Called and set a time to stop and look. Sales staff was awesome. We took the car for a spin and my daughter fell in love with it. She being only 18 didn’t have the credit so I needed to co-sign. Oscar took over and made the finance end very easy for my daughter to understand. He got her a term and payment she could afford. Oscar had the paperwork done and all processed in a flash. We drove away with her new car within minutes. This is the second Prius we have purchased from billion. When mine needs retired I will be back. What a great dealership.

My experience with Billion had some good and some bad. A lot of events happened and in the end both parties came to a conclusion that was best suited for everyone. I appreciate Ben Watts, my salesman, doing what he could with what he was given. He was thrown in the middle of the deal, as being the salesman, and took the blunt of everything that went wrong from both myself and Billion. The 3 stars I gave reflects my feelings towards Billion, not Ben. If anyone decides to shop at this Billion In Clinton, IA. Definitely ask for Ben. He will take care of you to the best of his ability and it shows in his actions.
Applied for a vehicle at several different dealerships. Each one said Come on in! Youre pre-approved! Only thing was, I wasnt. Tara at Billion and the finance specialist told me I was pre-approved on Saturday. On Monday I was driving home in my new (to me) truck! Needless to say, these people are the real deal! Had a great car salesman - Paul Green. He was so helpful! Not pushy like a lot of salesmen. He was very knowledgeable and patient, answering all of my questions. He was also very personable and I really enjoyed doing business with him. I hope to do future business with him. I also had a good experience with Corey and Nate in the Finance Dept. They made sure I thoroughly understood my options regarding warranty options that were available, without being pushy as well.

Purchased a used car through them and was very happy with the service. My only complaint was that the car I came to see was on fumes when I got there but that was quickly remedied. It took me just under 90 minutes from pulling on the lot to pulling off with the car I wanted which included a lengthy test drive. Will recommend James Sampson my salesmen and the dealership as a whole in the future
They give you a good amount for trade in and always have nice cars on the lot to look at even if your not buying not a sleazy dealership. If I even need a new car Id come back.
Best customer service I have experienced so far at a dealership. They were up front and honest about everything. They really genuinely care about their customers. We were able to get the car we wanted with the price we wanted.
We decided to support a local dealer. Our experience started out on a bad note. My wife and I were wearing masks, as advised, but the salesperson (nor any other employee there) was wearing a mask. The comment from the salesperson was you guys need to I dont. But thanks for wearing one. Fortunately we did a lot of research on the vehicle before we came because there was very little car talk from the salesperson. Here are the keys, the vehicle is parked outside, go for a drive. He was more of a sales clerk than a car salesperson. We agreed on a deal because we needed to replace our vehicle but it was not much of a deal at all.

The financing manager, Chad, had already gotten us approved by a lender and had a list of vehicles that would be in our budget and fit our needs. I cant say enough good things about our experience at Billion Auto! First, the price was several thousand dollars below book price. What a way to start huh? The vehicle we purchased was in like new condition with only a few miles on it, and we were provided with detailed information on the history of the car. Our saleman, Eric, was never EVER pushy but helpful above and beyond! He answered numerous texts and emails from me promptly, thoroughly, honestly, and even sent a personal video. There are always extras that car dealers want you to purchase when you buy a vehicle from them, and that of course happened with Billion. But I can honestly say that all four men we worked with were never EVER pushy! Weve never ever had a car dealership accept NO as quickly as they did. I would recommend this dealership to anyone for the quality of their vehicles, their low prices, and most of all for their honest, helpful, friendly, sincere attitude! This was the easiest vehicle purchase we have ever made. Kudos to them!

Phoned Billion to find an exact truck - Chevy, 1500, 4WD, black exterior, standard cab with 8ft. box, standard mirrors, towing package and we were flexible on everything else. We were told they had one: we booked an appointment, drove 45 miles and arrived on time. We asked to see the truck only to be told they didnt have the truck, if we purchased it, theyd have to get it from another dealer. Thats not how we do business - a total waste of our time and gas - very disrespectful.

I purchased my current vehicle from billion auto several years ago and still love it just as much as the day I bought it. So my husband and I recently purchased another vehicle there and were again very happy with the vehicle purchased and customer service we received.
I would not even give this place one star if I had the choice. It has been a complete nightmare. My boyfriend and I went in to purchase a 2020 Toyota Tundra and we worked with a salesman named Jason. Jason was knowledgeable and friendly. We asked him if we could trade in our impala, and have the payoff from our ford edge just added to our loan. He was unsure if we could do that. He then spoke to Oscar who said it wouldnt be a problem. We brought the truck home on May 22nd, 2020. The paperwork needed to sent to Wisconsin to be signed to send back. 2 weeks went by, still no paperwork. We called Oscar to see where it was. He stated that our salesman Jason got fired for not being professional and helping his customers. He then stated he had a family emergency in Texas, and would send the paperwork out right when he got pack. Fine. He ended up doing that, and that was the only thing that was actually followed through on. My payment on my edge was passed due, because they never sent the pay off in. Oscar kept saying it was the finance department messing it up, when we could actually get ahold of Oscar. He kept making promises on where it was and when the bank would get the pay off. Oscar stated that he would extend our loan out for another 45 days for our troubles. A month later, still no pay off. My Ford Edge had a notice it was going to get repoed, which tremendously messed up my dads credit. We had to make a payment out of our pocket to keep that from happening, even though we were promised the pay off and even put 1,000 down on the truck, which they gladly accepted. Oscar told the bank the finance department was over nighting them a check, that never happened. He then said they were over nighting my dad the check? What car dealership sends a personal check instead of just sending the payoff to the bank? Well that never came either. We then were able to get a call back from the General manager on Thursday JULY 2nd (Mind you, we took the truck home May 22nd) he stated he would over night a check and send a gas card for our troubles (we never got the measly gas card). Finally a personal got sent to us that we received Tuesday July 7th. They also sent a check for 2800 to get the car titled and licensed which shouldnt be our responsibility, and they even charged us on our loan for the paperwork. We didnt even get that check until our temporary plate was expired and of course it was 100 less then it cost us to title and license it. The kicker is, we just got a bill for two payments, saying one was 20 days passed due??? This place is full of nothing but empty promises and miscommunication, I would highly recommend staying far away from this place and got to a business that is far more professional.
I drove on to the Billion Auto lot hoping they were closed so we didnt see a salesperson. Fortunately they were still open and I was lucky to have Paul Green wait on me. Paul wasnt the usual pushy salesperson and stood back and allowed me to look over the truck I was interested in. He is very knowledgeable and had the answers I needed. By far, the best car buying experience I have had. I could only make it to the dealership on Wednesday night. Scott met me there on his day off and was the most patient salesman I have dealt with. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. Kory was also very professional, gave me all options in financing, this guy knows his stuff! Before I knew it, it was 9:15pm, they closed at 8pm. Neither Scott nor Kory pressured me into the sale. They answered everything and helped me get the best deal. When I picked up my car, Scott, Kory, and the general manager all greeted me. Nothing but PROFESSIONAL from them! I will definitely buy from them again!! Very impressed!!!

Bought a car in October had a good experience. That car was totaled in an accident so had to get another car. Oscar was the finance guy, and Sam was sales guy for this second car. First wasn happy because did it o we phone and I figured was gonna get pretty much the same type of vehicle I had stated to Oscar I wanted basically the same type. Got the same type Chevy Trax, was one year newer and had AWD no remote start but was told would get it put in. Remote start did get put in. But this car was not push start, did not have Sirius capability. I wasnt happy with that and I formed Oscar I was not. The car was gonna be a little cheaper on payment and interest rate lower so I let it go. Then about a month and a half went by. Got phone call that papers needed to be signed since vehicle wasnt finances yet wouldnt have another payment for a month and a half. Signed papers and was told by Oscar that everything was the same. Its been about a week later and got in the mail the finance company. The payment was more then originally told a month and a half prior, and the interest rate is higher than originally told a month and a half prior. This was very sneaky and very unprofessional on Oscars part. When told that everything is the same, I figure everything is the same. So I guess its just easier to lie to your customer. This car would have been sent back if it would have been known the payment was higher. Called and left a voicemail with sales who was Sam, and called a second time and had a message left to call back and still have not heard from him. Misleading and losing is not the way to keep customers, will never return back to billion again!!!!!
My salesmans name is Kristopher Bagocius he is awesome. He cares, is attentive, bends over backwards to help you get what you want. He listens, makes you feel comfortable. He seems like he actually genuinely cares & is honest. YES an honest, helpful salesmans. Yeah I never thought those words all went into a sentence together, but they do.I would and will definitely refer him to anyone looking for a Toyota. I Would definitely go to Kristopher again. I can give 5 stars because that is all the higher Toyota goes, but in my book Christopher is a 10

I was already preapproved from my bank with myself being main loan holder and yet they ran my credit to a different credit union and then ran it differently though my bank as my husband as the main loan holder just bc his credit was alittle higher then mine(even though Id already been approved). I now have 3 hard hits on my credit instead of one because they just refused to listen to what we wanted. If anyone gets a vehicle from here Id recommend double checking all your paperwork.The car had not been cleaned out since the last owner. It still had a disc in, past owners insurance card and past owners purchase papers.
