I’ve been bringing my car here for several years now for anything from tire change to a lightbulb swap. Any problem big or small, they are excellent! I love that they are a local business, they are 100% honest, quick and efficient. Robert at the front desk is also super friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend this business.

I live 1/2 mile from a competitor in Farmington, and will drive to Clinton to get my vehicle serviced. Sterling and his crew are great, and always take care of my vehicles needs.

Do not use these guys!!!!The manager did not hold up his word! I asked him to look at my car because it was NOT shifting out of park. They told me they adjusted the switches and said if that doesn’t hold up they will need to replace the brake switch completely. I paid and left. It stopped working again and so I called to let them know so he could replace it and he told me they will have to relook at it and it might be something else instead of just replacing it like he said he would previously if it stopped working. When I questioned him and brought up our previous conversation about replacing the part he said he will refuse my service and told me to take it to a dealership. Attached is my invoice showing you that he said he would replace it if it stopped working again.. but is now not willing to and wants to charge me more to look deeper into the issue which is NOT what I want or need. Please be careful and do your research about your car mechanics make sure they hold up to what they say they will. I am happy to receive my service elsewhere. He lost someone who could have left a good review .... if he were just honest.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible customer service. The man at the front desk. (Robert) spoke to me very condescending and showed no interest in helping me. He was annoyed with my questions. I wanted to pay to have a new tire sensor to replace a broken one. He said, you dont need that. Its only for convenience. Plus it costs about $43.00. I hope the owner reads this review because your front desk staff is costing you money. I was willing to pay to $50+ to have a sensor replaced. However, your employees were convincing me not to because it seemed annoying for them to do. Looks like Ill take be business somewhere else.

Quick, professional! I have called in the past to just get advice they always helped. So I decided to take my truck in for repair even though I was able to make the repair myself, I just didnt have time to do the repair. They did a great job fixing it and I will be happy to use them again.

I needed a tire swap on my truck went to this tire shop for my first time the 2 guys at the front desk were very friendly, informative and got my truck right in, also very comfortable lobby open space. unlike the chain tire shops. Also had the best price of 5 quotes. Highly recommend.

Came into Sterlings to check the front end of my truck, and they found that ball joints and tie rods needed replaced and so they did. They had them done along with an alignment at a good price and now my truck drives ten times better! Thank you guys! Went in to get an alignment done after getting some front work done, and the tech who did it was great! I was worried about the camber, but he was able to adjust it super easy he said. There isnt any pull and it drives as straight as an arrow. I would definitely recommend this place. Definitely coming here from now on.

Got a set of Nokian Rotiva ATs purchased and installed, everyone in the shop was super helpful and answered my questions.

Half of the time i was waiting on the sprayer to change settings. And wasted alot of the timer because of this .

Had some awful squeaking coming from the front left of my vehicle this last week, and brought it into the shop. Come to find that the brake rotor dust cover was rubbing the brake rotor causing an awful noise and they just bent it out of the way and didnt charge me a dime. I have used these guys before and they are honest as the day is long, which is a breath of fresh air with all these corporate car centers. Sterling’s crew make local business a pleasure. Good prices, great service, honest staff. Will be back again!

Bought tires from point s in Bountiful, great store. This one however wont honor anything that any other point s has done. They wont rotate or balance your tires no matter where you bought them. You have to pay for every tiny little fee at this one. If you dont know this one personally theyre not very helpful. Go to ANY other point s.

I have been a customer at Sterling for over 10 years. Taken every vehicle I own there for everything from inspections to major maintenance but not any more.They completed some head work on my engine 4 years ago and did good work. They had to remove the engine and additionally replace the exhaust and cat. They have inspected my vehicle the 3 years following the work and there have been no issues. Until this year, I went in for the emissions test but this time they informed me that there were no O2 sensors on the vehicle. Hard to believe since they were the last ones to work on the exhaust. When I posed this question, the manager got up from the corner, walked over and told me again there are no O2 sensors on the vehicle. Again I said, YOU installed the exhaust and the engine, they havent been touched since. He said, that was 4 years ago and the vehicle has been modified. He then said he wasnt going to argue with me and turned to help another customer.A week later I took my vehicle to another shop, and they said the same thing but this time I was able to show the mechanic the front O2 sensor. Once he saw it, he ran the test and it passed.All Sterling had to do was explain the problem and show me where the missing O2 sensors were that they had installed but now I will never go there again.The O2 sensors have always been on the vehicle and have not been modified or tampered with.To be clear, the configuration of my vehicle on the day of inspection was the same as the day I received it from Sterling, four years earlier. The two sensors were in the same location as when you installed them.Would have been nice had they taken the time to listen and acknowledge these facts.

I have gone to Stirling Tire quite a few times. The staff is friendly and always helpful and I rarely have too wait long for vehicle repairs. Even with several vehicles ahead of me when I needed my emissions test done last Friday, my car was done in half the time that was expected. Their prices are reasonable, as well.

I just went to Sterling for the first time and was extremely impressed. I was doing a backyard mechanic task at home andbhad a part that got stuck in another part. I couldnt get it out so I called a couple shops that said they might be able to get to it today...vut I had to get my vehicle back together. I called Sterling next and the person that answered the phone had a can do attitude and said I could come over right away. When I got there, they had plenty of work in the bays sobi thought it would be a while, but they looked at my part problem and right away doing it backbtobthe shop. 5 minutes later he was back with everything taken care of. He even noticed a potential problem on my vehicle at home for me to check and sure enough, he was right and it was an easy, but essential fix.I hadnt used a mechanic for a while because yhe quality carries so much, but with the experience I just had at Sterling, I think I just found myself a new mechanic. I highly recommend Sterling as honest and super easy to work with.Thank you!

Got an oil change and they offered to rotate our tires and we accepted. After picking up the car the balance felt horribly off. All 4 tires were off by at least 1 ounce and they stripped multiple lugs. They also did not tighten one of the tires properly. Horrible job. Can’t believe such a company would take pride in that kind of work.

Sterling usually does great work for me. But I am writing this review about Chip. Lately Every time I take my vehicle to get serviced, he always has this very poor and rude attitude. Always making me feel like Im a burden to the company and that he in general isnt happy in life, resulting in a negative effect. It is very hurtful to come across this type of treatment when I put trust into this company and staff. Im not sure if I am willing to continue to bring my vehicle to Sterlings. Not if he continues this avenue of customer service. I am thankful for the work the company does, and taking responsibility if they make a mistake. But this treatment isnt worth the quality they do.

Dont waste your time i took my truck their to have the starter changed and they told me i didnt need to change it. Then a couple of days later i was stranded away from home with a starter issue, thanks for not doing the right thing you will never get my business again

I was getting my vehicle registered. I told them I might need a battery. Next thing I know they had put a $119 battery in it and charging me $28 to install it. I was late getting home so I had no choice but to keep it. So just know that unlike ANYONE else around. They WILL charge to take out and replace a battery. If you need a battery then head down the street - plenty of places that will be happy to do it for free. And give you an option with what battery you want.

Once again fixed our motorhome with putting 4 new tires on it Price was reasonable and they were very personable!

I took my car in to have the alignment done on it at about 8:30am and I was told that there was a truck being worked on but that it should be done within the next hour. After I gave my info and my car key the woman said that my car should be done in a couple of hours. After waiting 2.5 hours and still not hearing anything, I went back to the shop and I asked if my car was ready. The woman went back into the shop and came back and told me that the truck that was on there earlier had more issues that came up and it was magically just finished.Other people who have written reviews say they care about their customers but do you want to leave your car for hours only to find out no work had been done on it? I wouldnt be as disappointed if they would have called me an hour after I dropped it off and gave me an update. My time is valuable and if your time is valuable to you, you will go somewhere else to have your vehicle maintenance done on it.

Passing through town and blew a tire on the highway. AAA reccomended and towed us here. We arrived at 5 and they closed at 6. They went out of their way to find us a wheel and get us back on the road in less than an hour. Amazing service!!!!! We definitely reccomend!!!!

Never will I spend a dime again at this place. Went in for a simple oil change and asked the lady at the front if she could check and see what the mileage was when I did the last tire rotation and balance the owner got up from across the room and informed me that they only rotate for free and that the balance is 10 dollars per wheel. I told him that I bought the tires from point s and that balances where included with the sale of the tire and he told me no that that was not part of the manufacturer warranty. I called the point s I bought the tires from and they told me that absolutely the balance was no charge because I bought them from a point s location. I went back in and asked the guy if I was misunderstanding our conversation and he told me no that balance is not included. I told him I just got off the phone with the point s shop that I bought the tires from and they told me that indeed I did get the package that included the balance. Now hes pissed and is going to prove me wrong by grabbing the pamphlet and throwing it at me after reading it. Lol. Lol.... Even the pamphlet said that the balances are INCLUDED FOR THE LIFE OF THE TIRE. I said see it says right here he got pissed again and said why didnt you buy your tires from me? I DIDNT LIVE HERE WHEN I BOUGHT THOSE TIRES I DIDNT EVEN KNOW STERLING POINT S EXISTED. am I just supposed to buy tires for my truck even when it doesnt need them? Anyways thank you Sterling Point S for proving to me that using your shop in any capacity is just plain stupid. I will definitely take my business to a different shop. I have spent thousands on tires for my vehicles including my kids and trailer tires. I will make the trip back to the Tremonton location for all of my tire needs. What an a$$hat Sterling was.
