Okay when I first re-entered World also I was confused because Im used to just walking up saying what I want one time I was just standing around no one told me that place a order means buying something so when they kept yelling this out I thought it meant that the order was already placed and they will call your name I found pit hard way standing around 20.mins this means to walk up and say what you want and wait for order to be filled this time they have 3 or 4 reps but only one will take your order I do love their prices and their friendliness

This place seems to be the best place to buy, auto parts as far as getting the best price. Its the place that the auto shops use and its the place that I suggest patrons doing work on their own cars should use. The staff doesnt have the best attitude at times, but if youre going to pay for parts you might, as well get the best price.

Sent an email saying they don’t want to hold up my order and to respond, or they’d release in 48hrs. 4 days later the order status hasn’t changed, no response after 4 days confirming it’s available to ship or a way to cancel rhe order. Might be the cheapest, but saving a few bucks isn’t worth being the slowest.

This is a huge auto part store with good parts, the only thing is it takes forever to get them! I waited over 15 min for my parts to be bought up to the front. I know its a process because some call in for parts so they are working on their orders but, there has to be a better way for walk-in customers. The guys were friendly and helpful. A little static between coworkers but overall good for parts not if youre in a hurry.

I wish I could give 5 negative stars. The guy on the phone who claimed to be the manager Dave was rude, arrogant and extremely ignorant. I asked a simple question about looking up a past purchase. Instead of helping me, his only concern was do I have my receipt. Obviously I dont, but my purchase could be verified by looking it up. Not this guy, he has no customer service skill or class. I will never make a purchase there again. I suggest everyone avoid this place

One star is because you cant give negative stars. Shady Grady! Promise but cannot deliver. Was told a part would be there at a particular time and was standing there waiting for 20 mins, parts guy didnt even remember that I spoke with him earlier that day. Well the part never came in, it was never ordered from other store in Lorain to be transferred. I made a 45 min trip to get this today.

Avoid this business, if you can. I am from Cleveland, but I live in Indianapolis. Over the holidays, I brought my car to my familys mechanic here in Cleveland. It was determined that I needed a rack, which I bought from World. Upon getting the car back to Indianapolis, the rack was found to be defective. I had to buy another rack in Indy and pay for labor once again. I am in Cleveland again this week and I brought the defective rack for return. I forgot my receipt on my desk in Indy, but I offered to bring in my credit card statement showing the purchase. I explained the situation to Dave and he kept rudely saying no receipt, no return. I asked to speak to a manager and Dave said he was it. I asked for his last name to report his poor customer service to his superiors and he refused. After all the trouble I have been through, which was caused by their defective part, I would expect more consideration to try to work with me to get my money back (other than driving back to Indy to get the receipt).You should avoid this business, if at all possible. I have had much better customer service at Auto Zone, Pep Boys, or any other auto parts store. Even if they can get you the part for a few dollars less, it is not worth having to deal with their lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

My husband had to have an unexpected heart surgery at Cleveland Clinic on 2-4-14. I stayed at the Comfort Inn a few blocks away from World Auto Parts while he was in the ICU. When I returned to the hotel from the Clinic to retrieve my vehicle it would not start due to the extreme weather conditions. I was very desperate and distraught but found World Auto Parts on my smart phone and took the chance that they would help. Mike, the manager, sent Mike, an associate, to my aid with a new battery. He helped me get the battery installed and even scraped my windows so that I could see. I truly do not know what I would have done without these very kind men since I was in an unknown town far from home with nobody else to call. May God bless you for your extreme kindness :)

A guy sitting there doing nothing says, As soon as he (pointing to the guy next to him) gets off the phone, he can help you. Well, he never got off the phone and no one else that watched me standing there helped me either. I wont go back there. I just needed wiper fluid.Edit: after speaking with someone on the phone, the first guy is a cashier, he couldnt really help me anyway. But they will be sure to at least let me know that someone will be with me shortly.

Good prices. Service is awful. If possible, go somewhere else where the staff is more professional. The guys that work there now are rude, flippant, disorganized, and move extremely slow.

Rudest parts people in the city. Asked parts guy to see pads to make sure they match and he said not until I pay for them. Point to see them was to make sure they were correct before purchase. Told counter person I would never buy parts there again he said no problem.
