They got my van up & running again for much less than I feared it would cost AND when a part came in for more than $100 less than they estimated they were honest about the price difference deducting it from my bill instead of sticking with the quoted part price while pocketing the difference. I also love the consistent & clear electronic updates on my vehicles status and everyone in the shop was very compassionate. They were clear & honest on what really urgently needed fixing and what they would feel safe letting go a bit longer on their own vehicles. Best car repair experience I have had in a LONG time. We will definitely be sticking with Terrys for as much of our future vehicle repair needs as we can manage & are recommending them to all our friends and family.

Had car trouble on my way to Cleveland from Trumbull County. Stopped in with no appointment. Took me in right away, had constant updates on the issues, and was out and on my way in several hours. No complaints on service or price.

The guy up front was helpful & nice but $50 to change a headlight? Yikes...I was definitely ripped off. Will not be coming back.

I was traveling through OH headed to PA and was pulled for a failed low beam. I arrived the morning after thanksgiving - the first auto repair I came to was Terry’s. I feared it’d take a long time. I was in and out in under thirty mins and was treated so kindly. The price was absolutely respectable for those lamps! I like garages like this! So much better than chains!!

I had Terrys repair some body damage to my vehicle. Josh, who runs the bodyshop at Terrys, was absolutely awesome! The repairs were done excellently and on time. The price was below what others wanted. I appreciated the no BS approach that Josh offered. The rest of the staff at Terrys were just as professional. I highly recommend them!

Told me I had to pay for the inspection to have a hose repaired. I know which hose is bad. I cant reach it. I dont need an inspection I knkw whats wrong. I need the bad hose to be replaced with a new one.They replied and corrected the miscommunication.

They over charge the customer. Sell you additional parts that your vehicle does not need. The parts are cheap, from cheap manufacturers and Terrys marks them up by 60% over retail. If you state your concerns of the actual needed repair, they will go over everything thats wrong with your car, then state your concern. Terrys is more concerned about likes on Facebook than like fixing your issue. They pay their employees absolute bottom dollar; employees work 55+ hours wi thg NO benefits and NO overtime pay; NO incentives whatsoever. There are many other good shops around them who charge like you live in Cle and not in L.A.!

They are loving and caring people who treats me and my family as their own they always looks out for us and I appreciate that I been going to them for years now and they are good at what they do I recommend anyone to them!

More than 7 separate services were completed in less than 24 hours. I’ve brought other vehicles here in the past and their service department as well as their customer service is exemplary. Additionally, they made special arrangements to have my car delivered to me.

Been driving past Terry’s for the last 9 years and would always see classic cars sitting out front. I figured if classic car people took their treasured autos there that My treasured auto would be in good hands. I needed a lot of work done in my 94 probe and knew these guys would take care of it for me. They checked everything gave me good estimates, no surprises at the end. They did what they said they would do in the time they said they would have it done. Excellent communication and customer service, I’m definitely going back to Terry’s when I need more work. I highly recommend this garage and their crew. Well done guys, the old probe drives like new!

Um I went to get my windows fixed. They wont roll up and down. Well, they pulled one of the windows up and charged me $150.00. The windows still dont roll up or down. I could have done that. Im really outdone.

As a female Im wired to assume that Id be overcharged but I didnt get that impression, but to be cautious, and because my initial reason for coming in still exists, Im giving 4 stars... The work was done quickly & on schedule, and the courtesy transportation was a big plus.

We had reserved a 12’ Budget truck from this shop for a move from Cleveland to Chicago today. The store associate Washington informed us via a lackluster voicemail that the truck we had reserved was not operational and told us to call the 800 number for customer service.Yes they actually cancelled a reservation day of with a voicemail, insane!We were lucky that a local Penske rental shop had a truck available. In no way is this acceptable, it’s a shame as Terry’s looks to have a strong online rating for customer service. Had we not lucked out with Penske today we would be SOL. Glad we are not Cleveland residents so we can avoid doing business here in the future. Get it together!

Great and well informed people, they are excellent in their fields. Our car got done in the time they stated, and they helped me understand the importance of how some parts need to be replaced soon without scaring me of a monster bill that could follow. Went to this shop to have a problem fixed that I was 99% certain was related to the air filter. They gave me their fancy iPad, asked me to sign here and there. Then they told me they would be taking my car back for a full inspection. I’m glad I asked if it would cost anything - it would have. The iPad simply says something to the tune of, “charges may be incurred,” but doesn’t directly state a price. It was around $40 they were planning on stealing from me.I walked out. Went down the street to another shop that actually LISTENED to me. A repairman came out, adjusted my filter, problem solved, $0. Thank you to this honest, upfront, company. Shame on Terry!

Well worth the drive! Staff was friendly and upfront. I went for tires. They looked over the whole car (per my request) and texted me a report of the of my cars current status . The report included areas that passed inspection, things that may be needed but not urgent and urgent matters. Each section included photos they had take of my car, and reasons for their recommendations. It also had a video on why these repairs/issues are important to address. I was able to decide what I wanted them to do and what I wanted to wait on. Best part, I was able to make my decision without any pressure! I texted them back and they were able to take care of everything for me that day!!! I always question if I can trust the person working on my car. I have had some bad experiences, like so many others. I am so pleased to have found a place I can trust! Thanks guys!

Asked them to just see if maybe my sensor was disconnected when brought my car in for wheel alinement. When I left check engine light was on, so I called and informed them. They told me my sensor was disconnected. But when my service was done, no one told me anything at all. Took my money and said they’ll email the receipt. Horrible service. Never will I recommend this place in life.

Good mechanics, yes. But today I was totally disrespected as a customer. One of the guys made a mistake on the totals for the work done. Thats fine. We all make mistakes. But I shouldnt have to pay for your mistake. Then the issue was blown out of proportion and the boss cussed at me like a bum on the street. I work hard for my money and earnestly at that. Theres a way to talk to grown people. I dont know what hat kind of day people were having but they treated me very shabbily unnecessarily.

I was heading out of town for vacation and knew it was going to be warmer in Tennessee than it was here in Cleveland. So I went to test my AC and it was blowing hot air. I knew it was going to be difficult to get fixed that day but I had to try. So I called Brian at Terrys as I always do and he was able to get me in and address my issue. You saved my vacation it’s 87 degrees here and it would of been a nightmare. Everyone at Terrys is always friendly and very knowledgeable. Terrys north Coast Crew is a very caring crew. They make you feel really welcomed when you walk into there business.

Honest, capable mechanics. The kind of mechanics that wont bill you when you just forgot to close your gas cap and thats why your check engine light is on or replace parts for free under warranty. The only negative is they are pretty busy so youll wait 20 minutes or so to get a customer service rep.

Have been going to Terrys North Coast Auto for years.. Honest, hard working folks... They have earned my repeat business.

This place scammed me bad. Michael Washington did it. The master cylinder on my clutch went out and I had it towed there to be fixed. At this time I didnt know that it was the master cylinder, which is under a fifty dollars fix. This man LIED to me and told me my clutch plate was bad. They tried to charge me over $1200!!!! So using their diagnosis, which was $30, I had the clutch replaced elsewhere for $650. Much to my dismay when I picked my car up he was holding my old clutch and pointing out how there was nothing wrong with it. All he did was put some washers over the old plastic master cylinder which had cracked. $1 fix. The entire crew smokes WEED out the side door, you can catch a buzz if you sit on the bench out front. This place SUCKS. BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Worst Labor service. I ended up paying more than $1,400 for my AC Compressor installation, and still is not working properly. I had to go more than 4 times to get my car fixed. I do not trust this place.Better to pay more than ended up going to this place like hundreds of time.
