Great selection of hard to find items & simply amazing in house made food! Staff is always extremely friendly. Cant recommend enough
Great Filipino food. My 1st time in this restaurant and I really enjoy the different dishes and cooked fresh. BBQ pork, lechon kawali, pumpkin dish w green beans, okra and other dish was like a pork stew. White and fried rice which is endless. Recommend going because there is a lot more food items to choose from. My next is bistec in my culture but Philippines is beef steak.
Ive known these people since I was a kid growing up in Parma in the late 80s and early 90s. They used to be located on State Road near Lincoln, but now they are on 130th. This store has a great selection and it saves me from having to drive to Park n Shop just to pick up some pan fried noodles. I can also get some mochi while Im there and other fun stuff! They have always been good to me over the decades, and I dont hesitate to recommend them.
The Kare Kare was way over priced, for $21.00 I would expect to get meat that I had to chew. Their were no chunks of meat only bones with a little meat that you had to peel off. The pork BBQ was dry and cold and the pork Lumpia were tiny but they tasted ok. I won’t go back their are other restaurants to eat at.Just so you know I have been to the Philippines twice and tried as many dishes as I could. Also my wife is also Filipina so I know what authentic Filipino food tastes like.
We love going there every time we are in the area. Good selection of Filipino favorites and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Good food! Tocino 👍✌
They have some unique items that we only find at this store. We have eaten here and the meal was delicious.
Love the food. Lumpia and halo halo make me feel like home in the Philippines
Very friendly staff and very tasty food.
Great place with interesting things. I had to ask what a lot of things were because Im not real familiar with Asian food, but everyone was really friendly and happy to help.
LOVE this place. My family has been going here since I was a kid. Had AMAZING food
Owners are very friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. They have prepared foods and grocery section. Plenty of Filipino foods and ingredients. Aside from grocery, they help with travel and shipping to the Philippines.
WE just bought a halo halo or mixed fruit for take out!The cups was smell like urine! The odor stuck to my hands. So disgusting.
I came here with family and it is an absolutely wonderful Filipino restaurant in the area. They have a great buffet section with delicious Filipino food. I love the lechon kawali here and theres so many veggies and wonderful choices. Im glad I got to go to this place with my family and I hope others appreciate the tasty food here too.
They have a nice buffet lunch on Saturday afternoon full of traditional foods. Its a great way to experience a lot of different dishes all at once. I dont know much about Filipino food but the flavor combinations are distinct, and in come cases, pungent. Ill have to go back and try it again after doing a little homework on what the heck I just ate.
Fantastic place for Filipino foods and groceries
We have never been to a Filipino restaurant before. We went with my daughter and her Filipino boyfriend. He said the food was authentic. It was excellent. Everything was flavorful and not spicy. Great variety of chicken, pork, and seafood. Will definitely go back!
We enjoyed this place when we visited Ohio. Wish they had the butter mamon though.
Food was good at the buffet and I can say its all authentic. Makes me feel like home when I had lunch there and surrounded with Filipino people.Grocery items cost little bit high.I recommend this place. Will go back :)
Very good food and the service was good. The people were friendly and helpful.
Super nice people. Everything you need to cook tasty Filipino food. Saturday lunch buffet is great. Great food and service. Have been going here for years and always great. Additional parking behind store. They take credit cards.
Honestly, this place is a hidden gem. Without a doubt you will NOT regret stepping outside your routine and stepping in to Nipa Hut. At first glance, its a small, simple clean, family run Asian grocery. But heres why its a hidden gem - their Saturday buffet. They must have a team of gourmet chefs in their kitchen because it rivals the best food I have ever had...and they are wonderful hosts. Plus, their grocery has everything you need to try making their dishes at home. Place is great
Nips hut was amazing. For those of you who like filipino food its wonderful. For those that are new, its a delicacy of different and enticing dishes. Thank you nina hut. Your the best
A good place to find Philippino items. They also have a restaurant.
Very friendly, helpful, and clean. This was a great experience. Great smells as soon as I walked in.
If you are looking for (or are curious about) Filipino food, this is the place to go! Not only does Nipa Hut feature a solid market of Filipino pantry staples, it also offers delicious and authentic prepared foods daily and a phenomenal brunch on the weekend. Pick up the purple biko if its available - so tasty and coconut-y! They also have halo halo for those seeking an icy, sweet fix.
Well stocked, nice people and clean.
We stocked up on ingredients at the market and got a quick snack at the restaurant and some food to go. After waiting about an hour for the “to go” food, while seeing / hearing music variety shows from the Philippines, we realized that our food and bill were waiting for us the entire time at the cash register in the market.Whoops! Get yourself some sky flakes and Kare-Kare!
A bit on the pricey side. Closest thing youll get to an authentic Filipino experience around here as there are not many Filipino restaurants. Take advantage of the Saturday lunch buffets to get more bang for your buck. Also has a great mini Mart stocked up on popular Filipino essentials.
Nice Philippines Japanese all around Asian but more Philippines food market and I believe I little restaurants area next to it, ice cream frozen food etc, the person who checked me out she was nice help me out
Nice Filipino grocery store with a good selection of food items. Plus, they have a nice restaurant attached, with a popular Saturday lunch buffet.
The best Filipino store in Ohio.
I was in town visiting and I found this place to buy my Lumpia wrapper and other Filipino snacks. Not a bad store, have not tried their food though.
Good for different ingredients I can get rice wine vinegar, green curry paste, noodles, and other items.
Cute little store. Amazing how much they have for the size. Buffet on Saturdays. Nice staff if you get the chance to talk to them.
Nice clean place friendly people and food was pretty good 👍
Very nice store. Just about anything you could want. I didnt eat at the restaurant but it smelled amazing
All the best filipino foods you can want and at a very affordable price. Best if all is that they have a buffet lunch on Saturdays with all you can eat.
Always love eating here. Saturday buffet is awesome!
Great
My wife loves this store and they got a restaraunt that is really good.
My family and kids LOVE this place. The owners are great hosts and we love them! Saturday lunch buffet!!
They are close to me and have what I need most of the time. Store is always clean
Great Place & Very Good Selection!
Very sweet presence.
Good for Asian staples like Japanese curry.
They have real Filipino products here, even the Pinakurat vinegar. Very friendly staff and i got to meet some Filipinos here too. Talking about where in the Philippines theyre from. They serve Filipino dishes here too where you can dine in or to go.
Great place to get large bags of rice, as well as many other asian foods not available elsewhere.
The food is so good
Traditional Filipino grocery and restaurant. Be prepared to be treated like family.
Excellent food delicious good service
Friendly staff good food.
Nice lunch and stocked up on groceries.
Good selection for the size, however very cramped. I havent tried the restaurant side.
Best place for Filipino food.
Superb service and super clean.
Over time, the increase in the buffet price to $15 has not matched the quality of the food. I dont go there as often as I used to.
Always good food and friendly service
