I have some pretty specific needs for footwear and also require that those selling me shoes to actually know something about feet and at least some understanding of pathology of the body. I got that from the visit. I was greeted by a wonderful sales person who sat with me and discussed what was going on with me, fitted me, and then went on to show me shoes and insoles. I walked out with the right insoles for me, for now. Our feet change over time and I found the right product and service for my feet here. Thank you.

I had a very good experience here. I walked in and was greeted by Stu, who was extremely helpful and obviously knew his stuff. I explained my issues, he did a foot scan analysis, and then he recommended several pairs of shoes that would help. He was patient, explained things really clearly, answered my 8 million questions, and he was not at all pushy. Ive been wearing my new shoes for a little over a week and Ive already noticed a huge difference - Im no longer waking up at night with aching legs, and I can take long hikes again without being in pain afterward.

Sat 2 Oct: went to happy feet plus with sore arthritic feet and Stewart saved my life. He has the cool computer skills that read my arch and found the exact orthotic at an affordable price. Then sorted out my shoe problem finding the perfect, supportive set I needed. Great customer care, professional manner and kind heart weary shoppers crave. Ill be back again, with my now happy feet.

Ive been here twice now and had a great experience both times. Both associates were extremely helpful and friendly. They helped me choose a pair of speakers and sandals both designed to be helpful in dealing with plantar fasciitis. They both seemed very knowledgeable on what would be helpful.. Great store for people with many issues. I will be going back again for my next pair for sure.

GREAT store! I was waited on by Roger, who was super knowledgeable, patient, professional and kind. Roger was simply wonderful! The Kenkoh sandals have changed my life for the better! We ordered some Brooks addiction sneakers, which are so supportive, attractive and well made. I am so grateful. Not so happy feet! Roger has no respect for personal space or gals looking for a bargain.Claims Birkenstock never has shoes on clearance.I can fully understand why we were the only 2 in the store. Roger needs to learn that customers can hear his discussions with co-workers.

Worse customer service ever! I ordered a pair of sandals on June 8th, following their recommandations to take a size bigger. The sandals arrived ... too big! I returned it but had to pay for the shipping. We are August 25th and a part from an email telling me that I had to pay the shipping again to have the exchange + a promised call to finalize everything: Nada! Is there someone in charge? Very frustrating. Never again for me!

I had a wonderful experience at Happy Feet. I was waited on by Evan Smith, who was very knowledgeable about shoes and feet. He could tell what I needed by looking at my foot and arch. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis and was in need of waterproof sandals for the beach and pool. He fitted me with Kenyon massaging sandals, which immediately made walking pain free. I looked at other shoes and felt no pressure to buy them. I left with my sandals and will definitely be back when I need other shoes.

Today, my wife and I visited Happy Feet at Countryside. I hobbled in with my old shoes. My knees hurt and lower back. I work on cement floors all day. Victoria Craft, Healthy Footwear Specialist met us at the door with her beautiful smile. She guided me in finding the perfect shoe for work. As soon as I walked in my new shoes the pain disappeared. My wife needed shoes for job interviews. Victoria found the perfect shoe for her. We are both very happy. Thank you for your patience, Victoria. I had a problem with the balls of my feet hurting and the pain became excruciating. I went to see Roger and he fitted me with Birkenstock’s Blue Footbed. I have awful foot pain lately, so I came here to get some shoes to attempt to relieve the issue. The gentleman who helped me was attentive and thorough, and also assisted my spouse with a purchase. When I had a problem with the product, it was resolved immediately. I will definitely be returning.

Oh my lanta. Me, my husband, and my mom went in here to get my mom a new pair of birkenstocks. She has had the same pair for 10 years. I asked the lady if she has the same ones and she goes on about how they don’t make them anymore and she can’t help. I was like no big deal, what are her options? She had such a attitude, I was honestly appalled. My mom had a few questions about the new birkenstocks and she was so short and rude. Annoyed by asking questions, annoyed by us walking in the store, annoyed by us asking to try on two pairs of shoes, I could go on. After 10 mins she comes over “are you gonna make a decision or what??” I almost said something but I try to keep peace. After we had left and bought a pair, I had gone online and realized that the original pair my mom wanted, they just didn’t carry. Which was fine, why’d she say they don’t make them anymore???? I said screw this and that place, we went back and returned to a different store cause I couldn’t handle the manger with the short hair, let’s call her Karen. Then went to Dillards 5 mins away and dealt with the best service I’ve ever received and got the pair we originally wanted.Long story short, avoid this store and avoid the short hair grouch lady.After reading through these reviews, I honestly can’t believe she still has a job here. She has lost this company so much money.Go do some mediation lady. You need some peace in your life. Prayers to you

This is a complete ripoff. They want to sell grossly overpriced shoe inserts. Ended up going to a foot doctor who took care of my issue and told me to just buy some Spenco shoe inserts (less than $20 on Amazon) and have not had any more issues. Dont be conned by this this company.

The manager Kathy was very helpful .My first time in the store and I was trying on lots of pairs of shoes and even had to bring a pair back the same day . I brought two pairs .Not a problem found a perfect pair the second time.And will return because my back feels so much better with the right shoes now.Even telling a friend about the difference and trying to get her to go .

Roger was great! He took his time with me and listened to why I was there. I bought a pair of Kenkoh slides and I LOVE them! My feet feel so much better after a week of wearing them. I also bought a pair of Birkenstock’s. Love them too! He wasn’t pushy and explained what was good about both shoes. I went in one day deciding I got tired of seeing all the calluses on my feet and not doing anything about it for years. Stepped in and stepped out with the most amazing experience a person has ever brought to my feet. As corny as all this may sound, people, get yourself checked out and see if what you are wearing is the right stuff for you. Jennifer took the time to listen and see your feet for what they really are, she helped multiple customers, while living by the happy in happy feet with every customer that walked out. Highly recommend more people to go see this place, but best if you go in there with time, if you want to give yourself the time you think you need.

Roger who has been there for years has helped both myself and now my wife. They can help with the correct shoes and inserts.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went in with my 81 year old grandmother, mom and sister. A kind, patient gentlemen helped my grandmother with her shoes. When it was time to check out my grandmother did not want us buying a second pair of shoes for her, but we were going to get her second pair anyway as a gift . A woman with short dark hair (possibly the manager) got so nasty and impatient when it came to checking out with two pairs of shoes, two different payments and our price questions . She was short and rushing to take our money and snatched the receipt from the man. Once we paid she told the gentleman to wrap our purchase as fast as he could and get us out of the store. That is no way to treat any customer nor elderly people who are the predominant clientele that shop for specialty comfort shoes. You must have patience for all kinds of people and all types of people when in a customer service position. It was very disappointing and completely broke my heart the way This woman treated my grandmother. Despicable

Awesome experience and I can walk w/o pain again. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for a month, very painful and at times unable to walk. I kept putting off going to the doctor thinking that it would go away. I was using heel pain cushion inserts and sock sleeves, all were suggested for fasciitis but I found out I was doing everything wrong. Finally went in to Happy Feet to see what they could do. Kathy worked with me and explained what I should be doing to heal the plantar fasciitis. She was very knowledgeable and not pushy. I got a pair of inserts to support my arches, a really cute pair of Dansko “Mary Janes” and a pair of Kenkoh sandals to wear around the house. I was walking without pain in 3 days. I couldn’t believe how good my feet felt and what a difference these shoes made. The selection of shoes was great and they had some very cute fashionable styles. I will be back to buy a few more pairs. The average pair was around $130 but well worth it to be able to walk pain free. I had no idea what a difference the right pair of shoes could do to heal my problem. A great overall experience, so pleased that I stopped in.

I was pleasantly greeted by Kathy who first had me stand on a foot analyzer. It correctly indicated problems I knew I had. I wound up trying a few different styles of shoes. I wound up buying sneakers, dress shoes, and Kenkohs. I couldnt be happier with Kathys knowledge and service, and I dont remember when I walked more comfortably.

I bought a pair of discounted Brooks Adrenaline shoes just a little over a month ago. Initially they didnt bother me when I tried them on at the shop & the salesperson said they were good shoes for people with herniated discs like I have. I bought them & proceeded to wear them the following day. In just a couple hours of wearing them outside my feet started to ache & my back started hurting. I tried to find a solution first before returning them & bought shoe inserts at CVS. I wore them the next day for a couple hours and even with the inserts I continued having problems with my back. I called several shops to see if they carried the Ariel Brooks brand in my size, 6 and none of them had them. I let time lapse due to the holidays & work and forgot about returning the shoes up until now. I wanted to return the shoes but the lady at this location said no because I have a history of returning shoes & its been a little over a month. I have been buying shoes now from this company for almost 10 years and spend a lot of money. All I want is my $120 back so that I can afford to buy the proper shoes, Brooks Ariel for my condition. I was told by the Peltz employee where they have my size in Brooks Ariels that I should never be advised to buy Brooks Adrenalines due to the fact that they arent as well made as the Brooks Ariels. He explained the difference of the two shoes and said one gives much more support than the other. I feel that Happy Feet employees shouldnt pretend to be knowledgeable about what to buy & then turn around and tell you no returning shoes when you have exhausted all means trying to make the shoe work and nothing helps. I dont advise people to go into this location, the woman is rude and non logical regarding her reasoning behind why I cant return my shoes. Very poor customer service!

I was excited to go here for my new runners. Walked in, the lady was short with me, informed me that they didnt carry any narrow shoes, and then acted like she didnt want to bother with me. I was shocked by the slim selection and unhelpful employees. How is this place open? Dont bother. Just go to pelz. Youll get more help.

Roger is wonderful! He is very informative. However I did not care for the manager. She is rude on how she treats her employees and how she talks to the customer. A very unhappy and bitter woman you can tell.

Went into the store and all 3 sales people were with customers. Stood around for 10 minutes and no one ever acknowledged we were there. Finally one of them walked right past me and didnt even make eye contact. I said how rude and she looked at me and said they were busy. We told her it was poor service to ignore customers and we walked out. Very unprofessional.

My Mom & I had a wonderful experience at the Happy Feet store in Clearwater. We met Roger, who was very nice & very knowledgeable about shoes & foot problems. He scanned her feet & my feet and was able to fit us both in very comfortable shoes that supported our feet & arches. I bought an amazing pair of Oboz hiking shoes & inserts which I plan to walk the Camino with. He was able to help my Mom find & fit safe shoes for her Arthritis & other foot problems. Thank goodness Moms no longer wearing her cheap slip-in shoes which are so very dangerous & a great contributing factor for falls, injuries & broken legs/hips. I highly recommend Roger!!!

Nothing remotely happy about this store. They prey on elderly who dont know better. Finn Comfort $65 cork sole will last about 2 weeks in Florida heat - no kidding. Factory instructions say nothing in that regard. Female clerk is rude and sends you to manufacturer for problems (which even Kanner admitted is bizarre). Better off ordering thru Amazon from the get go.

Recommended a shoe to my wife. She wore once and it caused her back pain to increase. We tried to return the shoes and they refused to accept the return. Told my wife she shouldnt have bought the shoes because they are for fat people. Horrible service.

Shopped for my Birkenstocks here for years. Today I was being waited on by lady who was so very rude. She was fitting me when I mentioned I thought I might be one size biggers, just as I said that, the phone rang. She rudely said Im getting to that! and answered phone. Honestly it was so rude and demeaning. I just turned around and walked out. I guess Ill be buying my Berkies on line from now on, life too short to deal with mean people.

I have very bad plantar fasciitis and i bought a pair of Kenkoh there but the nipples on shoe bed come off and they are turning the bottom of my feet black, like tar i have to get heel shaver to scrape it off.Store will not do anything for me, i paid well over 120.00 for them.i think its sad they wont stand behind their products.

Do not buy anything from HF, they sold me defective Birkenstocks and will not give me a refund or a replacement pair....horrible business!
