I have friends that have gotten car work done here before and really like Dubes, but I had set up a Penske truck rental when I was moving cross-country with them and it ended up being a bad experience. I was told originally that I would be getting one of their newer trucks. The truck didnt even have power locks and windows. After we got the truck loaded up and on the highway, it shook like a tuning fork above 50 MPH. We stopped and checked the tires - 55psi when they should be 65psi! Also the windshields were filthy so it took a while to clean that up. We ended up putting a quart of oil in it along our 1300 mile journey as well as putting air in the tires two more times. For renting this from an auto shop, we would expect that maintenance was actually performed on the truck before renting it out. The cruise control would shut off after 10 minutes, and with the continued shaking, it made a long trip even longer. When we dropped it off in Wisconsin at an actual Penske location, they agreed that this vehicle should have never been rented out for a long-haul trip and should have been limited to in-town only. They wont even be able to rent it for that purpose until someone really checks it out and repairs a lot on it. Thankfully they did give us a 20% refund off our overall rental, which basically covered the $180 insurance (we are still thankful we got it, even though we didnt have any damages along the trip). Would definitely rent from Penske again but not from this location.

I rented a truck to drive my belongings 4 miles up the road to a storage unit for four days until I am able to move into my new place. The woman at the front desk told me that my deposit would be back on my debit card immediately upon the return of the truck. I made sure to ask twice and try to verify with her that IMMEDIATELY the money would be back in my account, because I was depending on that money for a hotel room for my 3 month old, 5 year old, and myself for the next four days until my official move in date and date of my next pay check. Apparently, she lied, and it actually takes 7-10 business days for the money to be put back. When I called the place back, the guy there said “we don’t have any control over when the deposit gets returned, that’s too bad”. If I had been told the facts, I would have just used my own truck and taken more trips rather than rent a truck and be homeless and broke with my children for four days. Thanks a lot.

I reserved a 12 foot truck five days ago. I get there at 950 am for a 10oclock pickup. I get a phone call as Im pulling in and they tell me the truck isnt there. It wont be ready until 11. I leave and wait until then. I get another call saying 1130. I wait until noon where they tell me to just take a local truck. I get a different truck then what I needed at this point. I tell the employee this is not what I needed or reserved. He tells me that they cant promise what kind of truck I get. I have the reservation for a 12 foot truck for pickup at 10. How can you not handle this?? I got a confirmation for what I booked. This truck I got is too big and its more expensive on fuel. How can you give me courtesy call at the time of my pickup and say my truck isnt there? I have friends and family taking the day off to help me move and they are sitting waiting and wasting their time just like I am. Worst customer service ever!! Thanks for over promising your customers. I guess I can return it whenever I want. I can say sorry a few times like penske did and everything will be ok. Get a clue and learn how to meet your customers needs. What a joke this place is.

They dont answer phones and the voicemail is full, lmao u cant get anyone on phone I tried calling 5 times never again gonna waste my time. The voice mail isnt even set up
