I stopped into Best Buy to purchase a phone case and screen protector. Upon taking the items to the cashier, I was informed since the phone case was open and didnt fit. I would have to pay for it as its open.. Needless to say I left both the case and screen protector on the counter and left the store. Why would I pay for something thats does not fit my phone or works?If it is Best Buy policy opened items should be purchased regardless if they worked or not, then this needs to be clearly indicated in the store policy. Additionally, if this is the case Best Buy should not be selling ANY open box items in its stores or online.I have now canceled my membership and store card and will never shop at Best Buy ever again.
I needed one minor thing. Not a high ticket item. I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable employee who found me what I needed. I was in and out in 10 min.Im not used to being in places like this when Im shopping for a simple cable.
This best buy is set up perfectly to find anything you need. Ive been coming to this location for 25 years and every remodel theyve done has kept up with the times. Great location and awesome staff.
What can I say I love Best buy I always have a little biased so it was great clean shelves stocked and knowledgeable employees. However its always seems to happen to me they dont have the item I wanted in stock just throw the dice I suppose but I did get the window shop for a new tablet laptop combo and was happy with the prices I was seeing. If you like electronics you like Best buy No doubt.
I love all electronics! I think they all are so awesome!But I absolutely hate Best Buy!No service! No Returns!I buy all my electronics elsewhere at other online retailers that are not Best Buy! I get better prices, service, returns any where else but here!

Geek squad. We paid for this service contract for our cell phones. They dont cover software issues unless for Apple. their idea of a solution for possible OS update issue was to factory reset. Broken dual screen they cant repair. They cant fix so their offered trade in phone. Can i get my money back for this service agreement? I chatted online for hour to try to solve issue. Then made an appt to go to store. They bounched me from line to another and tried to send me back to line one again when i said whoa, how about you walk over there because they sent me here. I will skip this service in the future. I left with my broken phone. Googled and fixed it at home.
Went there to buy really good stereo speakers figuring on spending between $2,000 and 2,500.... No one came near me to help me so I asked for help the person said they would get someone a manager come over and said that the gentleman who could help me was busy with another customer and would be there in just a few minutes 15 minutes later I asked someone to find somebody that could just turn the speakers on so I could hear them they didnt know how to do it and they went to the manager and told the manager that I was needing help and she was told that the person that knew how to do it was at lunch and wouldnt be back for 15 minutes so I got bullshited the first time and the second time they let $2,500 walk out the door I wont be back .........ever
I purchased an itemthat i’m disappointed with. didn’t know much about it other than i needed one. i was greeted or assisted by any best buy employee and it would’ve been helpful if someone could’ve not only shown me where to find what i eventually found on my own but to also explain the difference in brands and makes and which item i should have purchased pertaining to my specific needs.

Just left this place... One register open. No employees wanted to stand too close to a register as they may have been expected to use it. As you can guess, I decided, after 10 minutes, with my thumb facing north in an orifice, to toss my desired purchase of Skull Candy ear pods on the Coke cooler. As Im walking out, the clown with the headset says, Have a great day. So, Saturday @ 12 P.M. there is one resister open. Better off going to Walmart today where self checkout is an option. Order online when Best Buy decides to have a 3-day anniversary sale. Hopefully the store manager didnt do the schedule and has gone fishing today. He obviously took several employees with him.
Standard favourite shopping place for the last 20 years, always a great variety of items on hand. Take care when buying larger items with discount deals. Get them to ring up before pulling stock to avoid mistakes by salesmen trying to close deals... Have had two bad experiences at the paypoint with misunderstandings otherwise awesome and not much left around that allows you to actually see and feel stock which is missing from the online experience.
Very informative. Got the item my mother was looking for with no issues. Very professional but they didnt hold to 100% price match guarantee on the item i was wanting that i found cheaper somewhere else. All the product info and details matched but they didnt honor the cheaper price because the other stores product description numbers werent the same as theirs. Makes no sense if its the identical product and everything matches. Delivery was earlier then their window so that was good as well. Originally between 12 and 6 then it went to 12 and 4 and they delivered at 1pm so that was a bonus.

Purchased a SONOS BEAM SOUNDBAR. INCREDIBLE THEATER AND MUSIC SOUND CAPABILITIES. The salesman was OUTSTANDING and extremely helpful/ knowledgeable. Couldnt be any more pleased with the entire experience. I wish I could remember the Associates name, sorry. He is however the Manager in the Home Theater section.

Selection and warranties are good, but the local stores dont pick up the phone anymore and the main number assured me the product was in stock. i drive all the way there to be told its not there.

Worse experience ever. They have really gone down hill. Was in the high end section of the stereos for almost a hours and not 1 per ever asked me if I needed help. A guy cam into the section twice. So I wondered over to the other displays in the store for TVs and TV speakers fur another 45 min and yet again nobody asked if I needed any help or acknowledged me. Saw maybe 2 people buy stuff in a hour & 45 min. I was ready to spend allot of money today but now I go home and find someplace else to spend my money that has a customer service. Just Horrible. Dont think I will ever go back.

I had a really bad day I really didnt want to deal with robotic customer service at Best Buy but the first employee I met that day was a man named Lucky, Im not even joking his name tag said Lucky and I was extremely lucky to have met him he walked me through the store,played PacMan with me made me feel happy and not some number to the store for some credit card,I use to work at a Best Buy and got fired for not making enough payments so I really hope him being a human being and a GOOD MAN doesnt get him fired because he cant make that company money.P.S If you shop at this Best Buy your best bet is to ask for Lucky if you want a good experience.
Some grrat deals on electronics, nistly bad deals though, amazon is better most of the time. Still, check it out to make sure you know what you want and to make sure there isnt a better deal here.
Buyer beware in these new times!I purchased a laptop at the cost of about $1,250 and an additional warranty for $250 or so more from them in March of last year (2020). The warranty was sold to me as a no questions asked full replacement in the event it breaks. For adding a full 20% to the total cost, that sounded reasonable to me and I did want to take steps to insure the protection of a product this costly.So I gladly pay my $1,500 plus tax and go home a happy man with exactly the computer I wanted.However..Within six months the HDMI port breaks. Within nine months the screen is showing dead pixels and strange lights (on a $1,200 computer no less!). Shortly after that, the track pad gives out and I must plug in a mouse in order to use my expensive new computer at all... At this point I decide to bring it in and utilize the warranty I paid for.I checked to see if there is a comparable computer of similar price in stock, prepared to pay the difference if there is one, and came in that evening after getting off work. I bring my computer up to customer service and the person behind the counter was pleasant and easy to talk with until they called a manager over to ask a question about the return.I was informed that they no longer replace anything in-store of that value (mind you, my entire justification for adding the 20% to my check-out cost was the convenience of their in-store warranty). I was told they would have to send my computer off to a different state to be inspected and then a decision on whether to replace the parts or the computer would be made by the people in that state. Only then would I (possibly?) have my warranty honored.The time frame given? Two to six weeks! With no way of staying updated on its progress. What in the world!? By the time they honor the warranty, the 1-year window on that warranty would be past..I told the manager I would be happy to pay the difference on a replacement that they current have in stock today but in no way can I go without my computer for close to two months!These were not the terms I bought the warranty under and I feel cheated out of my investment with a company and store I know is fully capable of honoring the terms I was sold the laptop and warranty under.In summary:I bought a brand new premium laptop that broke three separate ways within a year. I even purchased their Best Buy warranty to protect my investment. Neither my business or my dilemma mattered to this store whatsoever. No solution was found, no respect for their own sales practice shown, and no right thing done to ensure they take care of a legitimate customer issue regarding a significant purchase made. Now I have a broken computer, out of warranty, with no way to replace it.If I may:I strongly encourage anyone looking to spend over $500 at this store to take their business online. Youd find better deals, more payment options, and a far greater inventory to choose from. Best Buys new warranty terms are not only setup to encourage you to give up before replacing the broken item they sold you a warranty to protect, but they may not even honor the terms you were sold that warranty under. In a years time, your warranty may no longer be their warranty and I just cant see how this is even an allowed business practice.Good luck fellow consumers and may you find far better places to shop than here!

If I could rate a zero, I would!!!! This location is unbelievable. There is a short haired female associate working in the electronics department. She is incompetent and very arrogant. I will not shop at this location based on the customer service I received here. Management needs to confront her on the customer service she is providing. Its not service anyone would want to receive.
I walked into this store on Friday, June 18, 2021 with my son looking for a portable dvd power splitter with a cigarette lighter plug end. The top of the plug had come unscrewed (they can do that on some of them) and the little metal tab that connects to power in the car had popped off. The spring and the fuse were there but, essentially the plug was useless. I went to Best Buy to try to find a replacement. Unfortunately, the plug was proprietary, therefore, there wasn’t anything in the store like it. But let me tell you, the GM and about 7 other people went WAY out of their way to help me! The GM was incredibly friendly and scoured the store for anything that might help. I was touched by their efforts. We’re from TN and the drive from Clearwater to home was gonna be long with a five year old and an eight year old and no DVD players! 🤣 I did want them to know that we ended up finding a plug in the car we were able to deconstruct and use to repair the broken one! Best retail experience I’ve had in a store, possibly ever! And I didn’t even buy anything!!
Decent best buy, the employees are always friendly and helpful. The geek squad is a little slow and the actual building and interior seem outdated and could use a spruce! I got a great deal on a TV for store pickup, they will not load your TV flat due to their policy but they tell allow you at your discretion..definitely recommend!

Purchased a computer from Best Buy, Geek Squad Certified. The computer was damaged, and thats where the fun begins....Captain Ralph, the general Manager claims its a Best Buy Issue, and Best Buy claims because it was a Geek Squad Ceritifed computer its a Geek Squad issue.I have been going around, back and forth between Geek Squad and Best Buy corporate for 3 months, and now they claim its out of Warranty. Could that be because no one wants anyone responsibilty??? Worst Buy is more like it!
Purchased a stove from the us 19 location in clearwater. They were supposed to deliver and install it. They dropped off the stove and delivery guy was extremely rude stating he wasnt given instructions to install it and that I needed to show receipt. I looked at receipt online and he states he has a print out showing delivery only so he walks out on me. I tried to reach cs team at this location and no one is available. Contacted CS via chat and was told to call manager at store. No resolution whatsoever and I have a stove that is not returnable waiting to be installed and who knows if it even works at this point. I have a receipt that clearly states installation was requested. They failed to deliver service. Horrible way to make business w a loyal customer for years. Good job Best buy, you just lost a customer.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM Best Buy DELIVERY! Unless you want to go an additional week without it from the DELIVERY DATE!Delivery was supposed to be from 9-1.Received an email that it would be here at 9:45….Then heard NOTHING! No one showed. Finally we called around 3 to find out what was going on. That’s when we learned that it’s out of stock and we can’t get anything til Wednesday, hopefully. 😡Apparently BestBuy doesn’t know if/when the manufacturer will actually have your purchased item but they go ahead and schedule an appointment. Then you as a client get to wait all day to have it delivered and Best Buy doesn’t know if/when there’s a problem for hours and I mean hours, possibly days later!What kind of customer service is that? It’s not CUSTOMER service at all. It’s service for Best Buy.If our appliance wasn’t just raised $600 (Memorial Day Sale), we would be going somewhere else.

I have made two large purchases here recently in the past year, a gaming laptop that I absolutely love! Along with a brand matching monitor that I got on an incredible sale. I couldnt be more happy with Best buys price matching Amazon, it makes it easy to pick up and do it quick locally same day as long as they have it in stock. As opposed to ordering from Amazon and waiting a day or two plus risking parts being broken during shipping. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Store has something for everyone, very wide selection, although only have phone cases for Samsung and Apple so if you have anything else, order online

Horrible experience and will never buy from Best Buy again I made a online purchase and the item never came to me said delivered and when I called Best Buy to tell them that I was told to hold that they would call the carrier to see what happen when the rep came back she said it was lost in transit so I would be getting a refund to look at my emails never got one spoke with some one the next day they said I had to wait 24- 48 hours so I did call back they said I had to wait 72 hours I did called back they said it can take up to 10 days so I called back spoke with a rep that said did anyone offer you a replacement I said no they said I would be refunded they said we can get you another item today and have it delivered today I said ok fine they also refunded me for the shipping that I paid for witch was 5.99$ and they said we are so sorry this could have been solved 4 days ago by sending the item to as a replacement waited all day no shipped item called back again they said it’s being reviewed to send a replacement now that I had to wait 48 hours again so at this point disputed it with my bank my bank said we will get the money back for you worst experience ever
Things already to be back to normal. Phone customer service outsourced to Panama is friendly and helpful. Stores are stocked again and the floor staff are also friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Aside from buying from Amazon, this is the go to store for electronics for me.

Had a great experience with the sales people, however when it came to repair work, was treated very poorly.When I wrote a negative review- got a call back from the manager who apologized profusely, said he would help me and gave me a phone number to call him back.I called back and they are no longer accepting calls at this number.I did a remote session with Geek Squad where they damaged my computer. I have been into the store 3 times, and made over 15 calls to try and resolve this.... and this interaction was just one more part of a really viscous cycle I am in trying to fix the damage geek squad did to my computer!

Normally I find what Im looking for but today was different. I looking for a small stereo with cassette and CD and FM radio. Even a Boombox would do. Looked on Amazon, had problems. Tried a couple of other stores before we found one. Unfortunately it was the same brand as all the other store but twice as $$. They were going to plug it in for us to make sure it works and doesnt have the same issue but too$$ so left.

50/50 chance on getting a employee that is helpful or acknowledges you. I was there ready to spend a big amount in the computer area. All I can say is never assume a person has no money or not spending money. Ill go to another location to spend our money. The good part was the guys at the geek squad. I was having issues with my IPhone and came into the store on Drew and 19 in Clearwater and Tamara B helped fix my problem. She was just so helpful and showed me some tips to help me with my phone . Also Sean the Apple rep was also very helpful. I appreciated their time and help. Thank you so much.

Tonight we didnt realize it was so late or that they closed at 8pm. We were checking out sound bars. And typically when I go to best buy they love to try to help or sell you something. This is the first night everytime we asked for help. The employees said I clocked out and I cant help you. And 2 others had to discuss why they were going into overtime and another employee and was helping another customer so they could not help as well. Bu the time 4 employees did not want to help, we just left after waiting almost 30 minutes trying to get help. Thanks but no thanks. Never again.

Honestly it used to be more friendly back in the day when I cane here as a kid when they still had the music section of their store.But I have to say now it just seems off the store has too many items in such a small space and It always seems like there’s nobody around to help you.Most import aspect which seems to be a trademark of best buy is everything in best buy is overpriced, and people who don’t know come here and think they’re paying extra for quality but there is no difference.Anything you buy at best buy you can easily get online cheaper if another store doesn’t already have it(cheaper).
I have an unusual all in one desktop computer but had lost the power cord during a move. Best Buy had an universal cord with like 6 different plugs and one of them worked. The employees are so very knowledgeable. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. On a Sunday, no less.

I came in for a Garmin smartwatch and it took about 40 minutes. To be fair there were very few associates. However it took 25 minutes of me waiting for an associate to unlock the case. Then when we were buying the watch he had to move me to another register due to problems with the register. I understand things going wrong but this trip was not enjoyable or easy.

We set out to purchase 3 major appliances. They had no working in the department. Someone approached us from another area and had zero knowledge of appliances. We bought nearly $4000 worth at a competitor about 2 hours later.
Bought a deep freezer from the store at a competitive price and its been working perfectly for now.
Just went to return an item that I purchased on 3/28/21. Item is still in the box and unopened with the receipt. Was only offered store credit and that was with an approval from a manager. First time I’ve ever had a problem with Best Buy. I’ve never had to deal with the 15 Day Return Policy. Not happy at all.

Typical of Best buy. Overpriced, they only have one person working the sales floor in the phone department with at least 8 customers looking for assistance. the girl that helped us was very friendly and was trying to devote some time to what I needed but obviously shes one person and I felt rushed because theres no one else working at that department

As for Computers they do have selections but prices seems high for services like transfer of hard Disk Drive Data and other services. (Double compare to other places) Tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. Since the techs get commission, they gear you towards higher Sales !
Went in to this Best Buy to buy a MacBook. The Apple man (didn’t catch his name unfortunately) was very helpful with answering questions and gave good guidance for which MacBook to choose. Yordan helped with the checkout and was very nice and professional! All around good experience. :)
