The Percy Flowers store has been in business for many many years. They serve the almost famous hot dog and should be famous by now. One of the best tasting hot dogs that you will get using the Carolina Brightleaf brand. I definitely recommend visiting this place. It is an old country store with a Great staff and are very quick and friendly in fixing the orders. Be sure you take the time to stop by here and get one of their almost famous hot dogs if you were in the Clayton area.

Pump is super slow. 15 minutes to pump 22 gals. Was at Pump number 4 with mid grade.

This is a favorite spot for us. Their hot dogs are awesome. Carolina Packers red hots. They also have home made hamburgers that are delicious. The ladies working behind the counter show typical Southern hospitality.A great place for lunch. A hot dog all the way, bag of chips, and a Coke in a glass bottle. A little taste of the past.

The grocery bag in the Percy Flowers store is a local landmark and up until recently was the only place to get anything to eat quickly. Yeah there is probably better food at other locations but this is primarily a small store and gas station that sells a few hot items. You will find that most people come hear as a destination rather than looking for fine dining.. Who cares! Its quick convenient and the staff is nice.

From the outside this place looks like a big general store. But when you go inside you realize that its just a little convenience store. And its not even an impressive convenience store. The people who work there are polite (usually), but in the end its just a convenience store. The store only takes up a small fraction of the building. The rest is offices and a liquor store. It would have been cool if the whole building was like an old timey general store.

I love this place and am always treated like a friend, but there are a few things that should be addressed for a perfect score. 1. Get a better ATM provider. $100/max is silly. 2. Fix or stick to hours posted on and offline. Hypothetically: Your the closest gas station and sometimes I dont get gas on the way home and plan to swing by on the way into Clayton. A yeah, still think you rock.

This establishment is basically a time capsule. Hasn’t changed as far back as I can remember which is a great thing in this case.

We have lived in Clayton for over 2 years and always got hot dogs from Jones cafe and LOVED them. We heard about flowers and decided to give them a try. Well they were good, but not as good as Jones and also doesn’t have the option of fries, which was very disappointing. The one thing we thought was a huge plus were the hours that are posted online. Open til 10!!!!! What? That’s a huge plus, well until one Friday night when you drive all the way there and they were closed!!!! Probably won’t go back, the only reason to go there would be for the different hours that Jones doesn’t offer. Not because they have better hot dogs.

Very beautifully modeled convince store with great food. The outside is more attractive than the inside but none the less a great pace to check out.
