This BP location is great. Always very friendly cashier and good selection of foods.

I have worked near my local BP and cant tell you how many times during the past several years this station helped me with my car issues. I cannot place a monetary value on how much i appreciate these guys! They are prompt, accurate, fair in price and extremely courteous. They have my business and loyalty and I recommend them for service.

They told me to install new brakes and rotors on the front of my car would be $350 😂😂😂😂😂 What a rip-off.

After having service on two of my cars over the years, I can say that these guys provide top notch service at reasonable prices.

Called day before and they said someone would be there at 6am to schedule appointments for oil change and etc and no one there nor picked up the phone. waited until 6:30am, still no one.

A co-worker of mines praised them for good service for years, finally I tried them about two weeks ago. I agree the service was outstanding. They offer drop-off and pick-up service at no cost. When they gave me the assessment of the problem I was having with my car it was well written and understandable. Some mechanics report has poor grammar to the point you have difficulty understanding what is written. They were accurate in their assessment, did not charge me much and were nice people. I will return if necessary. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to Woodards for more than 15 years for vehicle inspections and repairs. They are very friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and professional, and the repair work that they do is always top notch, and very competitive. Ive never had a bad experience with Woodards. Ive been going to them for at least the last 10 years. They are professional, friend, courteous and always manage to squeeze me in without an appointment. I really enjoy their shuttles to work.

I have been getting my cars serviced at Woodards for decades; they have always been totally professional, competent, courteous, and punctual. I have never had any problems with the service there, and they frequently go above and beyond what it would take to merely satisfy me. Even though I no longer live as close by as I used to when I started taking my cars there, I still go out of my way to take them my business any time it is not completely impractical. I now live in North County almost at I-270, and I still drive all the way down to U. City to get the car worked on at Woodards if it will get that far, and sometimes Ill even have it towed there if necessary.

With the exception of going to the dentist, taking my car to a mechanic was one of my least favorite things....until I began taking my car to Woodards. They are professional, courteous, and have done excellent work on my (not so new) car! Their prices are reasonable, and best of all, if its not broke, they wont fix it. Thanks!

Woodards is the best and only place I take my car to be serviced. They do a great job and work fast for a reasonable price. They also care about their customers and go to great lengths to show it by making prompt appointments and keeping their promises.

Been taking my car here for a few years now. I drive past dozens of alternatives on the way here, but I go here because I know theyre honest and all their people are competent. Theyve never found a problem my car didnt actually have, theyve never overcharged me, and when they fix a problem it bloody well stays fixed.Its relaxing to be able to bring a car here, hand over the keys, and not have to worry about the results or the fine print. Somehow I also always end up paying less than I expect to.

I dont particularly rate places on Google, but I felt inclined to put something out there for these guys. For me, they are the perfect place to take my car: the employees are nice, the service is great, and the prices are fair. Im fine with paying a little more money knowing my car is in good hands, and the guys arent trying to screw me over. Dont be suspicious because this is a BP station, its probably unlike any other youve been to. Theyre family owned and they pride themselves on that. Theyve become my regular place for maintenance, and I recommend you at least give them a shot.

Woodards BP Amoco is the best. Weve taken our cars there for over fifteen years, and have had a satisfactory experience every time. George and Dennis have been there forever, and the staff doesnt turn over. Very happy.

Im consistently happy with the level of service I receive. Recently, I damaged my car in a stupid curb-scrape mishap. They sent me to an auto-body repair shop that Id never have found on my own but with whom theyve been doing business for about 4 decades in their words. The work was done promptly and as economically as possible. More recently, I was having trouble with my check-engine light repeatedly coming on and off. They attempted to diagnose the problem without going straight to the most invasive repair, but kept at it. Eventually they just replaced an ignition coil, which turned out to be under warranty anyway. Im glad theyre in my neighborhood.

Excellent service managers, mechanics and technicians. The repair work always done on time and correctly. Woodards BP has always stood behind their work on my vehicles. I could not be happier. My wife and I have been patronizing this business for 14 years.Jim P.

UPDATE: Its been a couple years since I posted my first review, but my impression hasnt changed. These guys are here to help, not to empty your wallet. Straight shooters, for sure.They can perform all sorts of repairs, maintenance, sell/install tires and perform inspections (even motorcycles!).**************These guys are great! I keep telling co-workers to go here instead of the overpriced Firestone across the street or even (ugh) Dobbs. Woodards doesnt try and sell you crap you dont need. They fix your car right away and let you know when its done. Nothing better than that. :)

Woodards has been my go-to shop for quite a few years now. Dennis and George are great to their customers. Always get great service at great prices. Dont hesitate to take your car to Woodards, you wont regret it.

Woodards is everything you want in an automotive repair shop. Fast, courteous service, solid advice, quality craftsmanship. The staff is tremendous. George and Dennis set the standard for professionalism and knowledge of their business. We would not take our cars to anyone else.

As far as Im concerned, the best garage/mechanics in St. Louis. As others have said, these guys are amazing. Absolute service oriented, straight shooters. Thought my tire had blown bc I couldnt retain pressure. Turns out it was a broken stem valve. Something like $6 to fix. Awesome!

Got an emissions inspection here for $20. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I could see myself coming here to consult these gentlemen in case I needed more work done on my car.The waiting area, so to speak, were benches outside the gas station. Certainly a no frills auto shop.

I went to Woodards because my cars engine light was on. First, the person working with me checked my cars oil (even though the oil light wasnt on). The oil was fine. Next, they checked my battery (even though my cars battery light wasnt on). They claimed that the battery was bad and that was why the engine light was on. When I asked how much it would cost to replace the battery, the worker told me Probably under $100. But if you gave me your number, maybe Ill give it to you for free. Not only was this a form of sexual harassment and extremely unprofessional, replacing the battery was not even addressing the actual issue at hand with my cars engine light being on. I took my car to another auto care shop a couple days later and they proceeded to tell me that my battery was fine and what was actually wrong with my car was the catalytic converter. I will not go back to this autoshop and I do not recommend you go either.

Great service. Dennis and George are the best! Been going to them for 30 years and theyve given my cars terrific service.

They do excellent work for reasonable prices. Most of all, they try to help. As an example, I recent had a broken window that could only be provided by Toyota and then another glass contractor had to do the installation. George must have spent a half hour or more on the phone, arranging for all of this, at no charge.

I have utilized the motor vehicle services at Woodards since the mid-80ies and have found that service on various vehicles to be both knowledgeable and consistently above average. I am unreserved in my recommendation of their both practicable and friendly service.

I always have a wonderful experience at Woodards as they provide reliable auto work at great prices. In addition, their honest business practices are outstanding. In one instance, they were able to repair a tire that the competitor across the street had said was irreparable and required replacing with a new tire, and on another instance I received an oil change and said that they should rotate the tires if needed, and they told me the tires didnt need to be rotated yet so they only performed the oil change. I will return for all of my car service needs and recommend to friends and family.

I took my car in to get an oil change and I asked them to check out the source of a sound coming from the rear of my car. I get a call from Woodards stating they broke my lug nut key and they were not prepared to replace it even though it is known that you are not to use an impact wrench with a lugnut key (which they said they didnt). This left to up my lug nuts off (because they could you get them back on). There was no reason for them to even take off the tire as I only asked them to diagnose the noise. They didnt even offer to adjust my bill for my convenience. I will never do business with them again.

My son was having trouble with shifting gears in an old Jeep he had just bought. He took it to Firestone (across the street) in a panic because he couldnt even shift and they said they didnt have time to look at the car until Thursday. (This was Monday.) He took it to BP and a young man came out and looked at his Jeep and realized he was out of transmission fluid. He poured the fluid in the Jeep and it began running smoothly right away. He said my son should make an appointment to get the leak checked out. He saved the day and we are definitely coming back. Thank you for taking the time to solve a problem and win a customer!

Not only do I visit Woodards BP because they are close to home. I am fortunate in that I have never encountered an unfriendly, unhelpful employee there in over several decades of using their services. Dennis and George are always so direct in describing what needs to be done to my cars, setting a time for service to begin as well as an approximate time when the service will be completed. Sue, the principal cashier during the daytime, is most friendly as are the several other cashiers during offtimes. The service staff have taken the trouble to learn my name, and in time, I have learned some of their names. I have NEVER had a problem with the service performed there in terms of having to take my cars back to correct the same problem. Moreover, the premises are clean and inviting, including the restroom. The feeling that I get there is that Woodards is a family station, and I am a part of the family.

Weve had a few things done here and its always been a good choice. When weve compared quotes with other local places theyve been cheaper and done good work.

I have been taking my cars Ford Taurus and Volvo Station wagon)to Woodards for probably 15 years. Their service is excellent, accommodating time frames, and priced fairly, actually pretty good. Access to metro-link makes it easy to drop off the cars. The owners are friendly, genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. Very helpful with problems. Maintaining their high quality. Very accommodating on dates and need for urgent work. Still working with my same Taurus and Volvo V70 wagon which are working quite well. There are very few great neighborhood garages left where you can pull up, tell the mechanics what may be wrong, and you are seen right away. Personalized friendly service, without having to visit a dealership.

They did not give me a quote and directly charged me for $50. Plus no refill for the water tank and window wipe. Sad
