Love this place! We just moved to the area and stumbled upon this gem. During the summer months, their bourbon truffle ice cream is to die for. My new favorite go to is the iced caramel macchiato. Costs less than chain coffee shops and you get more bang for your buck with flavor and quality. Customer service is also stellar!

Thought I was getting fresh food. All pre-made. So disappointed. Should’ve went to Dunkin’ Donuts...

My wife and i come here at least once a week lately for the blueberry and pumpkin spice donuts, as well as the bacon egg and cheese bagels. The bagels aren’t quite as good as NYBD in cary, but for being close to home they are pretty dang decent. Also the pumpkin spice white mocha & turkey BLT is awesome. I pray they keep the white bag and checker paper look going because it feels nostalgic.

We ordered ahead and food was ready upon arrival. Extremely nice staff and food was exceptional.

I LOVE this place. This is my favorite place when I want to treat my employees. I order online and my food is always ready before I get there. The doughnuts are BEAUTIFUL and such a crowd pleaser!!! Staff is always friendly.

I stopped here for the first time as I was in the area and wanted a drink and some free wifi. Someone greets you when you enter. They have coffee, tea, donuts, muffins and ice cream. I ordered a iced latte with almond milk. It was $5.00 which I thought was a little high. There is seating inside and outside.My drink was fine. I would probably go somewhere else if I wanted coffee. I might go back and have some ice cream as the local choices are limited.

Love this place. Great service, friendly staff, good food and not too expensive. I have my main items I love and just order online. Pick up when it’s ready and off I go. Super convenient.

The donuts were large, fluffy, sweet and cute! The sandwiches were underwhelming at best. I would not recommend them. The cold brew was weak for my tastes, but thats probably a bit more subjective. I would come back to try the sweets again, but nothing else.

Biscuit was good, donuts were huge, and the waffle was horrible only due to the fact that it tasted like the waffle maker. It had a chemical taste like a new machine would have. I would have returned it had I not gotten take-out. Will give them time to work out new business kinks. The new layout was very nice. Hope to see them succeed.

This is the second time we’ve been here and they messed up. First off, they stop selling rolled ice cream at 8:30 and we got there at 8:35 they would not sell it to us. Then we asked for a chocolate malt shake. Upon trying it there was no malt flavor so my wife went in to ask about it and the cashier asked another person if it had malt in it to which they replied “yes.” She then stares it didn’t taste like it has any malt and he said “well it’s only one scoop so…” Regardless they did not offer to remake it or fix the issue. Poor customer service. Won’t be back.

Great chicken and cheese biscuit! Bagel was pretty decent. The coffee, I didnt care for it. I would recommend different beans for brewing or a different coffee brand. Not too shabby, though. Great start.

Great rolled ice cream, the Frappuccinos such as the strawberry oreo was unique and my instant favorite. the pastrys/doughnuts tasted better than any other shops we have had. highly recommend

Purchased donuts for first time at Hwy 42 Cafe at 8AM. Will be the last time. Puny sized, minimal frosting and tasted like yesterdays donuts. Very dry. I can say these were the worst donuts Ive had in a long time.

Awesome service, sharp skills, fluffiest/tenderest doughnuts I’ve ever had, scrumptious breakfast sandwiches, clean, friendly, yummy menu choices, great BLTs, DELICIOUS COFFEE, fair prices. We are so glad they’re here!!! I hope they stay. Opened at 6:00am every single morning except Sunday—and that’s 7:00am!!! Wowww!!!! Incredible!

Ordered a BLT with a fried egg, and it just tasted bland and pre made.I could taste the toaster.. would not recommend the blt nor the bacon egg and cheese my wife ordered. Very disappointed.

Walked in on Friday night and walked right back out. The atmosphere is weak and they have a huge donut display that had maybe 4 or 5 donuts in it. Very underwhelming.

This coffee shop appears to have good reviews, but that was not our experience. My husband discovered this place on our drive back home. We stopped in and my husband ordered for me an iced latte with almond milk from an unfriendly girl. When he noticed the gentleman making the coffee was using whole milk, my husband again asked for almond milk.The girl rudely replied, I didnt charge you for almond milk. And the gentleman added, Yes, its extra for almond milk. The additional charge was not an issue, but rather their unfriendly manor. They acted annoyed and as if requesting almond milk was putting them out. After charging $5 for the drink, my husband left and as he walked out the girl busted out laughing. It was an unpleasant experience for an overpriced, mediocre latte. We will not be returning.

Just in case you are lactose intolerant... There is a chocolate flavor with strawberry or your choice topping to add to it that us simply DIVINE! There is also a gluten-free flavor as well!!!

I am glad to have found this amazing place! My kids and all our family always enjoy something from Hwy 42. They always make my order right which is the reason why I prefer them than any other big chain fast food restaurants! Also, their baked goods are super fresh and delicious! Their customer service is great and they are very friendly!

It took me a few visits to fall in love, but only because I wasn’t ordering the right food for me! My husband was hooked instantly! Their bagels are so fresh and flavorful! I love their smoothies and my husband loves the coffees! We come back at night for ice cream. Highly recommend.
