AutoZone is never my first choice when I need a car part. Most of the staff are friendly, they just don’t know much about the automobile industry. I will however find the best pricing on something very specific like Mobile 1 fully synthetic bearing grease. Other random things like an STP cartridge style oil filter kit for my V8 powered BMW 550i for $4.99. So, I price shop them on their website often. Sometimes I get lucky.

Jason is the best hands down. If you need it done ask for Jason!! I went to get my battery looked at and it turned out that I needed a new one. Though most places tell me they can’t install it due to where its located. So I was already expecting to not get it done, but Jason stepped right up to the plate and said well let’s look at it. He was very patient and even concern as far as much time I had for the day. He told me I just want it done right and it may take sometime. Just know I wasnt even there for an hour. Thank you Jason!!!!!
Jaron B. Went above and beyond to assist me. I got off work and have a huge vacation planned to leave out on Saturday with the entire family. Only to have found my van shaking and the check engine light came on. He took the time to come out and run diagnostics on my vehicle, a d searched other Auto Zone’s for parts I needed since they weren’t in stock. He truly saved our family’s vacation and my pocket since I thought I would have to go to the dealership to find out the problem with my vehicle. His kindness, professionalism, and competency is more than appreciated!

Truly the best customer service Ive ever expereinced! There was a very minor mishap with a puchase and associate, Kiera and store manager, Jason made sure to resolve the issue with urgency. Not only did the manager resolve the issue, he made sure I understood what happened. Truly thankful for such a positive experience!

My wife went to purchase some honda fasteners. A employee came up to help. He kneel down and stated oh my knees, stood up and stated oh my back. As they turn to go to the counter he said but everything else is working fine. She felt very uneasy. He was a manager too.
A battery I bought there about 14 months ago died. I had an important appointment 10 miles away in an hour. I managed to get the battery jumped and hurried to the Auto Zone store where I had purchased it. The people there could not have been more anxious to get me on my way. The battery was replaced in no time and the manager, Greg, let me return the next day to get the warranty and paperwork. How about that? I recommend this store to anybody needing their products and/or services. Thank you, Greg.

I know the Manager personally that has been spoken about in the previous review. Yes, he stated his back and knees were hurting and everything else was fine, bc he has a severe and chronic autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis or AS for short. This is auto inflammatory, and systemic, meaning if affects the entire body. By saying his Knees and Back were hurting but everything else was fine, was his way of saying it was a good day, and he was lucky nothing else hurt. He meant nothing else by that statement.

My car battery went dead and wouldn’t hold a charge. It also smelled like rotten eggs in my car. So I went to Advanced Auto to have it replaced and they couldn’t do it because it would take longer than 30 minutes to install. I called Auto Zone to ask if that was the case for them. Greg answered and was so nice and said to bring it right on over. My battery is buried under the computer and not easy to access. On top of that my battery had excessive corrosion and the corrosion had melted the battery. Needless to say it was extremely difficult to remove the battery and took a lot of work to remove. However, Greg was so nice and was so helpful. He didn’t complain or act inconvenienced at the situation. I will most definitely be giving my business to Auto Zone from here on out. Also of note, I believe Greg is the manager so you know he’s going to have good, hardworking people that work at that location. Great experience!!!

Had a bad battery, the actual message on their tester! HAD a bad one...they replaced it for me right in the parking lot! Took extra care and were super friendly; cjust knocked a star cause of course they only had the premium & gold batteries in stock. Found they arent that cheap at $182.
Stopped in to check a battery for lawnmower. Found out it was at the end it’s life.

Went in for a replacement on my rear windshield wiper on my SUV. Tomas was very helpful in finding what I needed as well as installing it for me before I left. Store was clean and organized and all staff members were wearing mask. Great experience!

I needed an obscure bulb for the tail light in my Volvo. The bulb was for a “Rear Fog Light”. None of the parts catalogs or computer systems list any such light or any such bulb for it.Travis at auto zone used some great detective skills to first take note of all the different bulbs that are used in Volvo tail lights and then figure out which bulb would fit. Travis went the extra mile for me to help me find a part that I never would’ve found on my own. Thank you Travis!

Today I came in with a headlight that I had bought at a different store thinking it was the wrong bulb. The gentleman who helped me at the counter took the time to look up and confirm whether it was the right bulb and then came out to look at the car with me. He helped me replace my headlight bulb even though I hadnt purchased anything from them. He was friendly and courteous the whole time. Excellent customer service. Responsive highlyand knowledgeable. Would highly recommend! From now on Ill drive the extra distance to come to this store.

If you need to pick something up and get going, shop elsewhere. They have nobody on the registers just checking people out. Clerks just stare at you and ignore you and then after youve been standing there for 10 minutes with your products in hand to purchase, they go help someone else and continue to ignore you. Three different customers including myself left their items on the floor or placed them on the counter and left after waiting in line and being ignored. Worst customer service ever and they dont care either.
The entrance to the building is very inconvenient. The staff is not friendly or helpful.
The technician and the Manager were very helpful in trying to help me solve a battery problem. I needed to replace the battery on my standby generator during a power outage during a very cold spell. The battery was an unusual size. I was looking for a battery with a long 93 year or longer) warranty period. They listened to my problem and then made recommendations. I bought a battery with a 3 year warranty with the option that if it did not fit I could return it. The battery did not fit, I returned it and exchanged it for a battery that would fit. Unfortunately, the battery size I needed does not have more that a 2 year warranty. They had in stock the size I needed and I was all set. Thanks again to them for the good help.

My wife and I were greeted well upon entering the Parts Store. There appeared to be only a Store Manager and an Associate on duty at the time, and each were assisting one customer. As I recall, there were no other customers at that time. As we entered, we noticed both employees were wearing masks, however, the masks were at chin level leaving the nose and mouth uncovered. Neither of the customers ahead of us were wearing any type of nose/mouth covering. The SM completed the transaction with his customer and politely asked if we had found everything ok. We assured him we had, and began to approach the counter for checkout. At that time, the Manager rearranged his mask to afford my wife and i reasonable protection. We both wear masks whenever were in public, so I offered a sincere Thank yourself for putting on your mask. Thats when the Managers attitude changed. Short monotone voice, and refusal to make eye contact. Its as if I had insulted him. Even You have a really nice store here, which it really is a clean and well-stocked store, received no positive response. I didnt take it personally, ive worked retail at the same place for 13 years, (my only and last retail job, as I retire in 2021) and at times it can be a bear. But I gauge my successes on how many of my customers leave the store wearing a smile. It really isnt difficult, i find that if i genuinely focus on my customers needs, the day seems to fly by. Just my .02, from this old mans perspective.
Depending on whos working in the store when I go. Not all the staff are rude, but they need to remember to treat customers how they would want to be treated if theyre shopping somewhere. I went to the store today to get some tools for my car, the associate was helpful, but I ended up not needing the part. No problems or issues with the return, the part I needed they didnt have it, it wasnt no big deal, I just went up the street to Advance Auto parts, yes I will still shop at Auto Zone. Associates just need to learn to not be rude to customers as soon as they enter the store, other than that Auto zone is still my #2 store (CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE I GIVE 1 STAR BECAUSE 0 IS NOT AVAILABLE 12/11/2019

These guys are super friendly. I needed to replace my headlights and purchased bulbs from them. Unfortunately I was told which bulbs to purchase and they were not the correct ones to fit my car. I was honestly a little frustrated to begin with because this was a new experience for me, changing my own headlights, and I didnt want to start out on the wrong foot with the wrong bulb. When I returned the wrong bulb that same day they were very apologetic and then worked to make it right by helping me select the correct bulb after that and correct the earlier error by giving me a small discount for the earlier mistake and getting the wrong bulb. In the end it all worked out. I got the bulbs I needed at a reasonable price and now have functioning headlights on my car.
Great customer service! Scott Fitchett did an awesome job helping my husband figure out my car battery issue. My husband mentioned that he was very friendly, polite and super helpful. He also did the research for our battery warranty which I felt was above and beyond. We will continue to utilize this Autozone as long as Scott and other good representatives are around.

I needed a new battery and Travis was on the ball! My terminals were so corroded. He not only sold the battery to me, but did a wonderful job cleaning the terminals and made sure everything was fine before I left. The manager, Drew, was also thoughtful and courteous. There are several places to shop in Clayton, NC, but I will never go anyplace else! Thanks guys!
Just but attention in general from Gregory assistant manager, when I tried to get a warranty of an alternator, its supposed to be life time warranty. just passed 2 and he did not want to replace my alternator, I wont buy any product from them anymore. Try your costomer with respect and fallow your rules about warranty....
