Love Academy! They almost always have the best prices and so much selection. They are the go-to for sports stuff. I don’t buy clothes here because they are a bit more expensive but the equipment is well priced. People are very friendly and helpful.

They were very helpful I bought a kayak they help me figure out which kayak would be best for me which paddle would be best for me I drive a car without a rack so I had to get to the phone things to put my kayak on to help me figure out how to put that stuff out of my car and get the kayak on my car and set to drive home staff was very helpful and very friendly lots of selection

Was greeted upon arrival. Asked if I needed assistance. Was advised where the product I was looking for was located and told if I couldnt find it, which department to go to for assistance.

Go-to box store for sporting goods of all kinds. They have amazing deals running frequently and many family hikes have been enjoyed thanks to Academys wares.

Although they dont stock much for cheerleading, my son found a fully stoked football gear area.

I’m not sure why I went so long without checking out Academy. I had the wrong impression of what to expect I suppose. They actually have great deals and more to choose from than just overpriced Nike. Their own line of sportswear is pretty great as well. The few pair of yoga capris I bought have become my favorite by far.OH.. let me not forget the greatest thing of all. They’re actually letting you use the dressing rooms. Since the pandemic, every store I shop from has fitting rooms closed. I’m supportive of being cautious, but that one doesn’t make sense. I actually tried on clothes for the first time, well, this year.

Teddy was awesome, he was patient, professional and helpful beyond words. Even at the end of the business day. He had patience and courtesy tell our final purchase. He is a wonderful compliment to the company.

I can always find something I need....or want here. Whether it be clothes or knives or a canoe it can be found here. Always a pleasant experience here.

Academy Sports is like an adult version of Toys R Us (if they were still open). I mainly go for the clothing due to working outside. The selection of Under Armour and Nike is vast. The Academy Sports Brand BCG is as good as the big brands but far cheaper.Throw in all the outdoor gear, sports equipment and everything else equals a trip spending far more money than planned. Academy Sports is a excellent place to shop.

I shopped firearms, hunting only! This is the time of year to prep for hunting, you can’t do that here. Over priced, under stocked, low quality, cheap imported products you can have Amazon deliver for less! The good well parking was easy, and location is easily accessible lol! I have never walked into a sporting goods store and left with nothing till this place. I won’t be back and recommend you find another place or shop online.

I came in and a sweet lady heard me ask a worker about soccer socks. The sweet lady seen the girl I ask point me up front. She said come with me and was a great help. I ended up buying a paw patrol fishing pole too. She was very friendly and told me she had a nephew on the way. I wish I knew her name. Shes a great asset to the company.

The staff was super helpful. I had to re turn a helmet,however they didnt have a replacement in store or any store within 100 miles... offcto find what I need through another chain

The customer service here is amazing, and they have basically everything. From shoes to backpacks to golf clubs.

I was next in line to buy ammo two Fridays ago. The clerk takes the 300 blackout off the shelf as I was standing there. I ask Where is the 300 blackout? Another associate told me that the one clerk had bought it all. Im willing to bet hes selling them online.

Good service but little pricey

This place use to be a great place, but now it reminds me of walmart where you cant find anyone to help you. Literally stood in the shoe department for about 20 minutes looking at running shoes and for someone to help get the size I needed. The brand and type i wanted was up on the top shelf and one of the shoes was attached to the display. I walked around looking down other aisles trying to find someone, but the closet person i found was at the front of the store. I shouldnt have to go searching for someone half way across the store to purchase an item in your store. Needless to say I left empty handed and they probably wont get my business again.

Prices can be a bit high, but great store, and staff.

Love this place. My go to for my Simply Southern Tshirts. You can always find an amazing sale on shoes and clothes. They have lawn travel chairs on sale right now for 5.99. What!!!!... its hard to limit my buying in this store and they offer military discount.

While the situation has changed for buying ammo to total of 2 boxes a day, its so those of you who decided to get up at 3 in the morning everyday to scout their trucks give those of us who cant camo out and lose out on getting a box or 2. While it sucks its actually a good thing so everyone can have a chance to stock up against the hoarders here in clarksville.

I like Academy Sports a little pricey sometimes but overall a pretty good store for gun enthusiasts they have a decent selection but today they were completely out of ammo I saw 3 boxes of 28ga shotgun shells...💯

My only complaint is they have restocking issues. It often seems like they are sold out of out of stock. There are tags that say you can find is online. That irks me to no end. I know I can shop online! I came into the store because I dont want to shop online. Some products customers want to touch and feel but the number 1 reason to shop in a store is to leave with the product you want!!!!!!!!!!!

Academy almost always has what we are looking for. 3 kids in 2 sports each every fall and spring, we almost always need new things every season and academy allows me to buy the things I need without spending $$$. I love their Brava brand. Their cleats are fantastic quality and their soccer balls and shin guards never give us any issues.

Today my fiancé and I went to Academy exchange a purchase for our daughter cheer equipment. While my lady was at the register I decided to browser the store to kill time. While I look this lady decides to come my area ask me if I need help and stay look at what I do. At 1st I thought maybe I was in my head about the situation but then I decide to move around the section and she followed me the whole time. I then look up and my lady is heading down the isle to look for her exchange and while she is heading to the section to find an exchange for the shoes a Team Leader by the name of Amy asked did we need help as we replied no we are fine. Then Amy followed us and no matter where we walked Amy followed us. After this encounter we decided to instead of exchange we will return our purchase which was about $100 plus of merchandise. I will not give my business to Academy and I make more than enough money to buy what I want which I’m thankful for.

Drove an hour over here for an employee that supposedly put my order aside when I get here there’s no order there’s no matching pairs and their inventory is miscounted this is absolutely horrific it sucks to drive an entire hour and not get what you were looking for when you called in advance to find it here run for your life don’t come to the store horrible place

UPDATE****Do not recommend. Has ammo in stock, but holding for associates it seems. They are probably allowing associates to buy it in bulk even though we are limited to two boxes, and then selling it with a mark up online.

Searched online far and wide. Looking for a depth finder for my 17 ft fiberglass bass boat. I have a garmin striker 4 on my console. It works great. No complaints except for the size of the screen. I want and need a bigger screen for the bow of the boat. I got a great price on a Lowrance Hook2 7 inch screen. Was easy to install and setup. Will tell yall how it works once i get out on the water tomorrow.

Customer service wasnt really on par. We were wandering up and down an isle with an employee stocking in it and he never stopped to ask if we needed help finding anything. Then there was only one register open so it was a long wait to check out and the cashier couldnt stop talking to the other employee hanging out at the desk. I seriously think it would have taken less than 4 minutes to swipe our one item and give us the receipt but it was almost a ten minute ordeal just waiting for her to bring her attention back to us
