Ace has been around WAY longer than Atwoods, to whoever said they are a knock off. Anyway, Ace IS the place for specialty hardware. Oddball nuts and bolts, stainless, galvanized. Great for car/boat restorers.

So far has had what I neededat a fair price. Bought mums today at half price.

They have everything I like Ace Hardware, and the people are not stuck up they are actually friendly thats a plus and a job or a company

Went in Sunday afternoon, several customers in the store. Could not find but one young man who would not help us. Immediately disappeared. Ask the girl at the register, she just shrugged her shoulders. The heat in the store was excruciating! Myself and granddaughter both began to feel ill. We had to leave, no purchase. We love this store, frequenting it often. Sad about this trip there. Any other time would give it 5 stars...

No one welcomed me the store. No associate approached me. I had to look for a door stop but they didnt have the one we need.

Fantastic selection but without the big-box insanity of the larger chains. They have wonderful staff and the feel of a locally owned hardware store.Its really busy on the weekends and the checkout line can get backed up but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are good. Paint, gardens, tools, fasteners, air filters, light bulbs, pest control, and a ton of stuff. Definitely a fantastic store that will continue to get my business.

Went to ace today to purchase some plants. Signs were everywhere outside saying all plants 75% off. Picked out 15 succulents and went inside to pay. Cashier informed me that succulents are not plants that they are succulents and they are not 75% off. I responded oh ok. Guess Ive been ill informed for over 50 years. Just for the heck of it when I got home I Googled it. Guess what succulents are plants. Where and how do they train their employees, certainly not the way I learned things. Second time in the last month I have left this store shaking my head wondering what the hell is wrong with Ace management. Train your employees..............My family will no longer spend a dime at this place. You get tired of stupid after a while. Wise up Ace

Looking for a small home town experience from your local hardware store? Look no further than Ace Hardware in Claremore! From the moment you walk in the door, you are taken back by the smells and sights of the local town hardware store. The staff is attentive, although not overly friendly. The store inventory is fairly stocked and has a little of everything. One downside is that the store isn’t very well kept on cleaning and some aisles have copious amounts of dust on items that have no been the most prominent sellers. The cost and sale pricing is a little higher than you’d pay at your big town store like Lowe’s, but what you are more so paying for is the scenic step back in time.

A great alternative to Lowe’s or Home Depot. Friendly staff

Last year the only place I could find the Fire Aide fire extinguisher which has the same foam in it to put out big fires in race cars.Went shopping with my son and I see a truck in full blaze in the engine compartment. I slammed on my breaks and pulled into the gas station and grabbed my fire extinguisher and ran to the truck asking the people if there was anyone in the truck and they said no.I started spraying the foam and put the fire out before the fire department got there. Eveyone needs to carry a Fire Aide fire extinguisher and you can get them at any Ace Hardware or online. I have never seen anything like this special foam

Great store. Very good selection of products and knowledgeable staff. They are a little slow to bring up another checker when the check out line backs up tho. This has happened several of my visits.

This store apparently has a lot of new help. Ive been in twice lately and both times had to ask for sacks. One argued that most people dont want them, but she did sack my plants when I replied that I would like some. The other guy looked at me, finished taking his drink, and then begrudgingly sacked it. Customer service.. what customer service?

Claremore store stinks! Hard to find any help and they only hire young people the do not know anything. 10yrs ago the store was top notch. Had people that could help you finish a project and had hard to find items. They got rid of all their knowledgeable employees and maintain their inventory like the big box stores. So much for having a true hardware store in town.

Great customer service. I was in and out in under a few minutes. Had to get a key made and the employee who was cutting keys was really good and friendly.

You can pretty much find everything you need Including the occasional screw or bolt

Nice store, most everything in stock that I needed. However, it would have been nice to know that it would take over 24 hours to process a mobile order for 4 1-1/2 pvc fittings, 1 package of pvc primer and cement, and 1 yeti cooler lock bracket and Cable. I prefer to shop at Ace but I’ll definitely be going to Lowe’s in the future due to them having an order ready in less than 2 hours.

Got my new push mower here today. Dont know how the mower will work out yet, but the staff was very helpful. Price was actually lower, for what is by all reports a better product, than the similar mower at the Big Box home improvement store down the road.Full disclosure, I bought this mower with the refund from the sub-optimal mower I bought the day before from the big box.

If you cant find it here....odd hardware, bolts and the like.....order it online! Only 2 times in 3 1/2 years of coming here, they didnt have what I was after. They even had some odd length METRIC stainless steel bolts I needed when rebuilding my Eve (motorcycle)

Best hardware store in Claremore! The staff is very friendly, clean and organized store. Theyre always willing to help in very knowledgeable about their products. They are able to order something if theyre out of stock. Theres also an online feature available shipped to store. They have a great variety on their paint selections. Wide variety of outdoor grill sets, and they carry the brand traeger. Large parking area, handicap accessible, public restrooms available. Large aisleways, well air conditioned in the summer, and easy check out. during C19 pandemic they took all the proper precautions and were very aware of the situation. Mask were not required but recommended, baskets were sanitized, hand pump sanitizer was available.

Great hardware store but as with most smaller stores, hard to find help once inside. The employee I found was perfect. Took me straight to what I was looking for with a smile on his face even though I had interrupted his job.

I shop at this store frequently. It’s clean, well organized, they have items that you won’t find elsewhere and I like to support the local economy. Their assistance within the store is very good when you can find an associate but the frustrating thing is their “checkout” experience! You may very well experience another birthday trying to pay and get out of the store. This isn’t just an occasional experience for me, it appears management places no emphasis on the checkout experience and thus I find myself often going elsewhere just to avoid the painful checkout process...too bad, otherwise I love the store.

So helpful when you wanna be in and out. Helpful staff!

I was going into town, actually, headed for Lowes.we live on the North side of town and it is quite a stretch to drive across town through all the red lights and possible trains to make it to Lowes. I thought I would give Ace hardware a try. I was looking for a fairly normal bit of hardware and I found the young man there to be pretty helpful. He seemed to enjoy helping and cut some wire for me andgot me to the cash register in just a few minutes. I on another occasion had the same young man help me with a few nuts and bolts that I needed.it seems that there has been an effort toward improving their customer service in the past few months.
