I picked this place because of many reviews with high 4.5+ rate. I needed to replace keyboard on my laptop so I called them day before for appointment. Guy questioned me for the make and model and asked for $60 to have it done.Next day while dropping off the price increased twice up to $120 because the guy said it will take him 2 hours to replace it. Well. Poor estimate. Also he mentioned that usually he never works with once opened laptops.Is this a Dell service branch?

Pretty unpleasant but gets the job done I guess. Just don’t ask the guy any questions though he doesn’t tolerate that unless he knows you or something.

He spent an extraordinary amount of time advising me about a replacement, cloning my old hard drive and transferring its contents to a new computer. He gave me a reasonable price at the beginning and wouldnt accept a penny more for the invaluable time and advice that he gave me. His was the best computer service Ive ever had.

Samy, you crazy Egyptian computer sorcerer! This guy saved me hundreds of dollars on my wife’s Apple 2015 Macbook Retina Display that I regretfully replaced the battery for. Bestbuy Geek Squad and Apple Geniuses couldn’t diagnose and wanted to charge me hundreds of $$$ just to check it out and maybe repair. I looked up a computer repair shop around the area and this place showed up. I decided to give it a try and take it to him. Samy was straight up and honest. This guy doesn’t play around and doesn’t BS you around to try to rip you off or something. He tells you the truth of the problem and the situation. He’s so honest and has so much integrity for his job that he didn’t want to do this job because he didn’t know exactly what I had done and didn’t want to be liable for any further damage. Samy doesn’t like working on computers that have been touched by novices (like me haha) or any other repair techs. It took me some convincing and liability signatures from me to sign so he could work on it and give it a try. Amazingly, he worked his magic and was able to find the problem and fix it at a significantly low cost compared to what Bestbuy or Apple had quoted. I recommend this crazy sarcastic funny Egyptian genius for any work on any computer, phone or other related artifact of the sort. I give him anA+++ 1000% satisfaction !!!!!!

Samy is a consummate professional. Hes a no thrills, tell it like it is type of person. I had an external hard drive wiped out due to mostly user negligence and partially hardware fault. I went to Absolutely PC for a diagnosis knowing there was probably little to no chance data recovery would be possible. Samy had me walk through exactly what happened and from there hed do what he could (no guarantees!) He gave me a good estimate on time and called me a couple days after the initial diagnosis for an update. In the end Samy was able to recover my data and even took the time to verify different folders and files with me. I was not satisfied with my experience here.I brought in a laptop I was hoping to diagnose for an issue, and I was not treated very well. When he started opening my computer, I wanted to make small talk to see if he had any guess on the problem, so I asked him if he had ever worked with my kind of laptop before. He looked up and, in a rather condescending way, asked me if I was doubting his ability to repair it, then went on to say that basically all laptops are the same. As he got deeper into it, he scolded me for having bought it from someone else, and that my issue could be related to a dent on the corner where it looked like it had been dropped. I explained that the dent was there before the computer stopped working, but he still gave me some grief for the condition. I know that the dent or damage from the dent wasnt the issue, because it was working fine for me for many months, and looking back, I believe the issue stemmed from a drink spill.He did do a diagnostic for free, which was good. He didnt end up finding the issue, however I do not fault him for that at all, especially considering that this was in the time frame of my visit. However, he had swapped out a component for one of his own to test if it was the problem part, and when he swapped mine back in, he forgot to put the screw back in to hold the card in place. I pointed it out, and he in an arrogant fashion, insisted that the screw was from the plate on his. I managed to fix my laptop myself, but it is missing the screw, and the part that is held by it is having trouble, which is frustrating. The final thing that I didnt like was that he had swapped my laptop charger wall cord with his own cord, but took my cord and gave me back my charger with his generic wall cord. I hadnt noticed this until I had left the shop, so I didnt think to go back in and exchange it.I dont doubt that he is a knowledgeable computer person, and I understand that this could have just been a bad day for him, but small oversights can end up causing big problems. I am a customer, and when I come in with an issue that means he has a job, I do expect a certain level of appreciation for my decision to bring my business there. I dont want to be lectured on why my decision to acquire the computer wasnt the best, and I dont want to leave with my computer in slightly worse condition than when I brought it in.Overall, from my experience, there are probably better places to go than Absolutely PC.

My laptop’s cpu fan broke, so I ordered a replacement part but didn’t know how to install it. I went to Best Buy, and they said they wouldn’t be able to help. Came here next, and got a fixed computer back within 2 days. Laptop has worked like a charm for the past month since then. 5/5, highly recommend!

Samy thoroughly inspected, tested and fixed my sloppy home build of old hp components in a slick new case. Unfortunately for me, the problem I thought was heat related (hence new case with 6 fans) was not resolved—something more sinister is afoot but I am certain SuperSleuth Samy will figure it out! Had the worst attitude ever. I didnt even get my computer fixed because I couldnt get past his nasty attitude and him trying to upsale me before even looking at my computer or listening to what was wrong with it. And regarding the diagnostic, instead of saying you dont work for free simply take it off your website. He even walked away from me while I was still talking.

Samy did a fantastic job for me. I paid $1,200 for a gaming laptop from a company called Sager. The computer was great but after four years the hinges started breaking the plastic. Samy found a replacement bottom cover for my obscure brand name. Not only did he fix it, he made it even more sturdy for future use. Fantastic job!

My iPhone was in bad shape with the home button was not working, the password locked out and battery dead. I took my iPhone to Samy and he immediately went to work on it. I am really glad I found this repair store. Great for computer and laptop repair. I dropped my Dell Vostro and it wouldnt boot up. Before finding Absolutely PC, I called 2 repair shops and both told me, without looking at it, that it would need a new mother board and/or new LCD display. Wait time 4 to 7 days. Couldnt wait that long! Plus how do they know? Sammy told me to bring it in to him. He opened it, found the problem and fixed it right there in front of me. I was probably lucky nothing severe was wrong but having someone I can go to that knows what he is doing and will honestly find the most cost efficient way to repair my computer or laptop is priceless. I dont even want to say what he charged as it felt too low for the quality, speed and spot on service. Highly recommended!Since my review above, I moved to Los Angeles. I thought I was a very savvy PC guy. When I couldnt access the WWW I was in big trouble. I found Sammy Nakhel via Yelp (using another PC). It took him about 1 minute to resolve my problem. Apparently an update to Webroot considered any access to the internet something to stop...with no warning. I am still have the problem every time I reboot Webroot will not fix it. Turning Webroot first OFF then ON resets the operating system back to normal as long as you do not reboot. I also had problems with some files incorrectly attaching to another USER name directory in this same PC. Moving these directories was not the answer the BIOS still expected these files to be in the other incorrect USER name directory. Sammy showed my how to work around that issue.I had problems with my 650 GB hard drive, time to replace. Sammy had me order a really low cost Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1 TB solid state drive via Amazon. I got the SSD he installed that few days later total cost about $350. My DELL XPS 15Z is now a even better/faster portable.Thanks Sammy!
