Good selection of specialty wood, but priced on the high side. They also carry just about anything else you may need for woodworking. I bought a Porter-Cable power 5 oscillating orbital sander for $50 which is a decent price for that model. Easy to find and lots of parking across from Tri-County Mall on Kemper Rd. They have a good return policy and the salespeople are knowledgable and friendly.

Rocklers is a great place for the woodworker of any level of experience. They have a wide selection of hardwoods from hobby size to thicker boards that can be planed and made into furniture. They have all the tools you would ever need for doing any kind of serious woodworking. The staff is knowledgeable and always helpful and friendly. Overall highly recommended!

This is my first visit to the Cincinnati Rockler store. Great selection of lumber, which is why I came there. It they have about every tool and part you can imagine that a wood shop would need. I was impressed by how clean and neat everything was.

If you are a woodworker this is one of the two places you should check out in the tri-county area.Pricey but you get what you pay for. Can you do better on line, perhaps.If you want to see what youre buying and you want to talk to people who are knowledgeable and helpful, this is the place.

I bought my CNC machine there, and a drum sander, and a vacuum system very happy with all. I made this on my machine.

I have been in work working for over 30 years, Yet, I am new to wood turning and have visited this store a few times to pick up supplies for turning pens. I am totally impressed the store and by all of the people who work there. They are extremely knowledgeable about wood turning and also very friendly. So far, they have been able to answer every question that I have asked about turning pens. This is the case even when I call them on the phone to get advice. I cannot say enough good things about the store and the wood workers who work there. Way to go!!!

Awesome wish there was one closer to home in Northern Indiana.It was nice to talk with the staff and be able handle & see things in person verses online.

I ordered some wenge lumber on July 21. On July 23 it arrived in LaVergne, TN. It was supposed to be transferred to the USPS. Today is August 6 and I still have not received it. UPS has not updated their tracking since July 23 and the USPS has not tracked it at all. Rockler needs to use a delivery carrier. The UPS/USPS system sucks. According to the law the sender (Rockler) is responsible for that package until it is delivered even though they have nothing to do with the delivery service. Therefore, I will not be using Rockler anymore because of their poor choice of a shipping carrier.

Staff very helpful showing me where products were. Repurposing an old organ bench. It was my wifes grandfathers. Cleaned it up and made some small repairs.. still needs stained completely. One tip Ill give for the cribbage board template.. have an air hose handy.. chips fill up the pockets quickly.

Wood workers paradise!Had questions about routers. Jim was huge helpful. A wealth of knowledge. Had no issue giving me about an hour of his time. He was a great help. After explaining what I was planning on he helped me decide what fit my needs the best. Wasnt pushy at all. Do yourself a favor and go there for all your wood working needs.

I was passing through this area on my way to Nashville from Ontario Canada. As an avid woodworker, I viking raided this Rockler location for all kinds of woodworking goodies!The staff were super friendly and very helpful! Great visit. Wish there were Rocklers in Canada!

Staff are always helpful. I usually go when there is something I want that is on sale. Most of the staff know where everything is located and take the time to actually talk me to it. They are knowledgeable and can give ideas on projects and products that I might need.

Drove 1:45 minutes to the store for my first experience. As I walked in i was greeted by David. David asked if I was finding everything I needed. I was very pleased with the store and the amount of merchandise on hand. I could have spent hours looking. David went above and beyond explaining and demonstrating a laxer engraving machine. I could tell from the moment that he started talking that he knew what he was doing. Its hard to find a person who is that passionate about their job but, David is that person. I will be back and recommend that if you need anything to do with woodworking go to Rockler in Cincinnati and ask for David. Thanks

Almost glad that this store is not in Dayton. The Dayton area woodworkers stores keep me broke enough.This place has everything! Ill be going back when I have more time to browse.The first employee I encountered had obviously worked there for many years. He was very knowledgeable but not very personable.Festool products are not displayed here; some sort of disagreement between them and Rockler over requested display size.All in all, a woodworkers paradise.And it only takes about 35 minutes to get there from [mid] Dayton.

The newer Rockler store is a really nice modern store. Very helpful staff and they have a great selection. One thing that bugs me is Rockler often offers 20% off one purchased item specials online, but hardly ever in their stores. They use to have that 20% in store deal when the store was in its original location. I miss that.

I always find what I want and appreciate knowledgeable staff. They help when needed but leave you alone otherwise.

Interesting store and great customer service

The staff are rude and insulting perhaps to cover up their obvious lack of woodworking knowledge. Dont bother going to any of their advertised product demos as they are over in less than 15 minutes and a complete waste of time.

Good class, instructor must have not tried the Velcro on elastic. As soon as the elastic stretched, the Velcro pulled off of it. I used the super glue on the work bench and dolved the problem for my grandson.
