Very good small town-like experience when you visit this grocery store. Its family owned, and you can tell by the customer service, and experience when shopping. Its a small little store located a little closer to the suburbs than some of the other nearby grocery options and is a great place to stop by if youre in need of some items and dont want to drive far. They also have a great deli, and meat selection as well as some hot meals that are prepped and sold right in the store. However, due to it being a smaller store the selection of items is sometimes limited, and the prices are a little higher than other supermarkets. Overall, I would recommend the store simply because of the customer experience and you can tell others feel the same way because the parking lot is always full!

Only 1 mile from my house. Very friendly staff. Bagging associates will even help elderly customers load there purchase into their vehicles. Good craft beer selection. Deli and meat section will do good for a bbq on short notice.

Great store especially if you want to grab something quick. The reason for 2 stars is because how one lady treated a customer while I was there kid lowered his mask because they couldnt hear him and was immediately told to raise it back up which is understandable. But there was a guy behind me with no mask at all and nothing said to him. So either enforce the rules for everyone or not at all.

Convenient for Mack, Bridgetown and people around Oak Hills High School. But youll pay a lot more than going to Krogers, Meyers, Target. Good for small items, few items.

1st time here. Liked the store layout, prices seemed fair. Meat counter is outstanding in pricing and quality of meat, which is worth trips there just for meat purchases.

Clean, convenient, have what I need and do not have to go through a massive store to get what I need.

It’s extremely frustrating when you change your hours and don’t take the time to update them on Google.. This is the third time now when I have been in from out of town and Chose to support a local business versus the big supermarket with my business. I only to drive further & to find out you’ve changed your hours again and not updated google. Where I look before I goTo make sure that you are open.It makes it very difficult to continue to want to support a local business when you can’t rely on them to be open. Aggravating.

Small neighborhood grocery store with an excellent deli however their quality for fried chicken has declined recently unfortunately.

It is the only place I know where I can get Wiley Wallaby gourmet Licoruce & Cream Herring in a jar which I love.

Nice and clean, super easy to get in and out of, ample parking, etc. Higher prices than Kroger and not nearly the selection, but I often shop at Hattings because of the convenience. Plus, I like to support small business. Hattings provides a needed alternative to the large supermarkets, which I appreciate.

My first trip to Hatting was a good one. I picked up a large chicken order, and they took it on a cart from the back all the way to my car and loaded it. Everyone I interacted with was friendly. This looks to me like a great neighborhood supermarket.

I have been a loyal customer for almost 29 years. Hattings owners and staff are always helpful and kind. I can always find what I need at the best price. They are alwaysstocked with everything at all times regardless of what is going on in the 🌎 at anytime. Greatly convenient and the deli and butcher is the BEST part of the whole store! But when you walk in to the left at all the “sale items” on the tables.. you better walk away... if you don’t want food poison ! 95% of that stuff on the table .. it’s MAJORLY expired!! So don’t send grandma and grandpa in there to buy snacks.. youll be in the emergency room ..other than that.. pricey .. great staff !!

Just had my first trip here. A pleasant change of pace from my normal grocery store experience. Smaller but had everything that I needed and plenty more. I think Ill stop here more often.

If you want it and he doesnt have it, hell get it for you. Family owned and they care about having your business. Hardly any lines and the owners are always there to thank you for your business. The hardest working family in the area. Great place to get 1 thing or the whole weeks. Great beer selection also.

Id give it a 5-star rating, but due to my milk being slightly off, some stale Twinkies and not buying salad because it was wilted ( I went right before they closed). I do think highly of this grocery because of the employees being friendly, and it not being a corporate store. It must be hard to keep up with the big dogs, you know the name.I ended up buying more stuff than I needed, just to give them more support. I suggest you go shopping at least once a month for some of your grocery needs.

Spotless, attractive, neighborhood market which carries most items that I need on a regular basis. Its large enough to find what you need, but will not take hours to complete your shopping. Friendly and accommodating staff are always happy to help. Daily available hot meals are a great time saver, great deli, and a good variety of party trays often save my sanity. Worth checking out for sure.

This family owned store has all the grocery items you could want & are very willing to get things in if you ask. Great deli/butcher counter, craft beer & wine selection, baked goods & seasonal indoor & outdoor items. Like the old-fashioned grocery store with all the modern conveniences.

Great old time butcher shop inside grocery store, the meat is very good and fresh with specials offered. Homemade salads, sandwiches, fried chicken, all are good. Clerks sometimes are not the friendliest except to certain customers. Convenient location, quick in and out.

Hatting is the same grocery store as long as I can remember. Customer service is always the best. Along with the freshest meat special deli items to make your life easier.

Stopped by here for the first time today after a trip to the library. I like the old fashioned/Mom & Pop vibe this store has. Nice service from the cashier once I initiated the conversation. I especially liked the discount sections. Look forward to shopping here again.

Great grocery store they stock some items you cant get other places they have a deli, meat counter, and produce department. My family has been coming here since they opened and you still see the owner all over the store working right alongside his employees.

Always love going into Hattings. Love seeing and talking to the employees. Good people. Great for picking up those few last minute things. Wish the old school service was like this everywhere. Only thing is check your expiration dates, havent had a problem in a extremely long time though.

This grocery is on the small side, but is quick in and quick out. The selection is fantastic and the people working there are exceptionally nice. Great place for quick easy shopping!

The customer service here is terrific. Prices are reasonable for a small local grocery store. Never much of a wait for any service. It has a surprising number of the amenities and products of a chain. Today, I purchased one of their pre-made dinners, Beef Tips and Penne, and was surprised at the flavor. It tasted like I had just made it too. Whoever is managing this store really knows what they are doing.

While it may be more expensive than other, larger grocery stores it is VERY convenient. The staff is always polite and sporting large smiles. Large selection with quality home-made items.

I was a former worker there and loved the place. I messed up a few times and it got brought to my attention and as far as I knew I was ok. I ended up getting extremely disrespected by the produce manager.. I mean extremely disrespected. I took the issue to Chris hatting and he did or said absolutely nothing. He told me when I started if I had an issue bring it to him, so I did and he basically laughed in my face. He told me he didnt want to address the problem and told me to go back to the area where a potential physical altercation could and would have happened. People need to know these things before they give this guy any good feedback. Luckily I have a lawyer who is as we speak working on things for me due to an issue prior to this incident. Luckily I had a back up plan and great job offer at a place where the employee means something.
