Great selection of games, a lot of dice sets, some miniatures and paint, and cards. Everything Im looking for in a game store. Shop was clean, staff was helpful, and there were tables in the back that people were playing on. Will definitely be back.

Good selection but very unimpressed with the lack of customer service. The staff were chatting for a while at the desk. I asked about one of the games that they sold, and they didnt know how it worked because theyve only had it for one month. Told me to watch a youtube video. They dont have a crazy number of rotating games, so Id have expected them to at least know what they sell. If Im going to watch youtube videos, then youd also expect that I order on Amazon instead...

This place is great! Have been here for MTG prereleases and have also just stopped by to pick up some games. They have a nice selection of board games (almost always we come in there’s something new!). They also have a good number of MTG items, snacks, and they are starting to grow their puzzle selection! The store itself is always neatly organized and clean.I also appreciate that whenever I send a question through Facebook Messenger I always get a prompt response. They have also been great putting in orders for certain games that they may not have in stock.We love this place and always look forward to coming in!

Michael and all the staff are incredibly helpful and create the best place to play magic in the city. Store is incredibly clean and tables are very nice. They always go that extra step to make sure that you want to keep coming back. I cant wait to get back to playing Friday night magic there again.

Very Helpful wide selection of games.

Absolute must go for board game enthusiasts! Its a same shop with a great selection of games that are very well organized! Anything from Scythe to Pandemic Legacy to Magic the Gathering! They also have a clearance/repackaged/second-hand area to get solve great games for a better price. Great little place to place MTG and buy/play a new game! Very nice people too!

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful in so many ways. I came in looking for a new game to play. The staff went out their way to help me find what new game to try and answer questions on old, new, and up and coming releases. It is hard to find good game shops like these today. But Woodburn Games delivers.

Ive been in many times the staff and owner have always been super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.Whether youre a first timer or a gaming fanatic I highly recommend checking this place out, theres something for everyone.

Love that there’s a board game store so close by! They have a great selection, ranging all different genres and styles of games, including family-friendly games. They also have lots of dice, magic the gathering cards, and everything you need to set up a d&d session! I also love that they host events so frequently, and you can test out games before you buy them! Such a great store for all tabletop gaming lovers and anyone looking to get started!

This place is always stocked with an incredible selection of games, including hard to find expansions and themed versions. Michaels knowledge of the products he sells is outstanding. One simply has to pick a game off the shelf, and he can provide not only a functional description of the games mechanics, but also an objective opinion based on other games youve already played in the past.

This shop is great, they have board games, minis, model paints, role playing games, and they even sell snacks for if you get hungry while youre playing at their tables!But I do have one complaint. Parking forget costs money or is really hit and miss on the nearby street.

I was excited to see this little gem of a board game shop added to all of the cool things happening on Woodburn. The owner was super friendly and I really appreciated his honesty about all of the different board games. He didnt hesitate to tell me if he didnt have first hand experience with a game and was quick to offer up suggestions based on just a few queues I gave.

Its a great to have an awesome local game store. Michael does fantastic job. My only complaint is that its not in Clifton so I could walk to it!

SUPER friendly staff! I was just browsing and holiday shopping as a traveler just killing time before the airport, and this place was definitely better than the previous ones I visited that day. Though the place isnt huge, the game selection was of great quality, including the latest/top ranking games. If Im ever in town again, I would definitely stop by!

Unique spot with umpteen board games and a genius entrepreneur that can answer any questions one might have. You can play there for hours. This place is the King on a chess board where it feels great spending your Knight. Check it out mate.

Owner Michael is very helpful and knowledge about tons of different kinds of games. Woodburn has an area of tables set up in the back to play games as well as having something for pretty much every big name card game, board game, and rpg. Cant recommend them enough

First time showing up at a gaming event and really enjoyed the people and the game was easy to learn and very enjoyable. Great place to learn games and get out into the community to meet new people! Demo games are available in the back of the shop you can play with friends. Professional gaming tables are awesome and they sell sodas there. Also, preowned games available to purchase if on a budget. I am glad to have this shop close to home.

Fantastic new game shop in a prime location. Very helpful staff willing to offer insight in any way they can. I am a fairly new MTG player, but their last Friday night magic seemed like a huge success. Come play magic here!

If you need a FLGS in the Cincinnati area, this should be on your list to check out! The owners and staff are great and very helpful. I am part of a group that hosts RPG nights 1/month. They are always able to accommodate the crowd we bring-with a smile. They have a wide selection of board games, RPGs, and M:TG. Worth the visit!

Owner is friendly and knowledgeable about all kinds of games. Store is clean and has space to play. Several regular groups play card games and miniature games here.

First time visitor for an after hours event. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and neat. Had a decent spread of games, RPG, and TCG (mtg supplies and product but no singles). Definitely looking forward to future visits, especially with the way their Play Pass is set up.

Have been for there RPG night the first Tuesday of every month. Its been a good event. Bit some DMs get burned cause they started booking the whole event, not by table and some games had no players. Insanely crowded and popular in September but like nobody in October. Well see what happens next Tuesday! Not sure Woodburn games is responsible for the booking system???
