Ordered 2 stamps online. Stamps were good, but took longer than expected and lack of communication from them. I had to call to make sure they had my order and then again if my order was ready twice. Order was ready for pickup 10 days later but notice went to spam. I called the 2nd time a week later to find out order was ready for pickup. No option for shipping?
Everything is made in house, which I find impressive and rare these days. The shop itself has a very warm and welcoming feel. But the best part, is the exceptional customer service.
I ordered 2 replacement pads, gave full shipping instructions & HOME address. CC was charged 1/23. I asked items NOT be sent until 2/12 as would be out of town. So far so good.Items were sent USPS (my request) to the address of a former employer (havent been there in over 2 years). Fortunately I was still on friendly terms. The linen pad was to have been inked (black) prior to shipping: it wasnt.Requested the company send a small bottle ink & lets call it a wash. Bottle was shipped 3/1/18 via FedEx SmartPost. This service has FedEx take a package to a preset US Postal site, and the Postal Service delivers it to the residence.Tracking number from FedEx indicates delivery will be 3/9/18: SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS for a 23 mile delivery from downtown Cincinnati to my residence. This is NOT the service Ive come to expect from Hathaway stamp; having done business with them both company and personal, for over 15 years.Maybe this is a fluke, but its one Ill long remember. A helluva way to run a railroad: Im glad I have to ride it but once.
If you need a stamp, call Rusty at Hathaway. Great service and a great product.
These folks make custom rubber stamps and they were nice to me when I stopped by. Seriously, if youre on your way to Izzys these people will talk to you about stamps! Ive never had a more pleasant experience associated with office supplies!
I came here looking for rubber stamps, but after the girl working the counter was needlessly rude I left under the impression that they just use stamps to personalize items for the customers rather than manufacture custom stamps. I only realized they actually do sell stamps when I looked it up online, since the staff misrepresented the nature of the business. I guess Ill just use lino block to make my own stamps since I dont feel like paying to be treated rudely.
Downtown Cincinnatis only Custom Rubber Stamp shop. .
Love working there
