I had the best experience at Idlewild. Post mastectomy and post-babies, its not easy to find clothing that is 100% flattering. But Tessa immediately honed in on what I was looking for and what would me look and feel great -- I left with amazing new pieces, and confidence to go back into the office.

Tessa, Melanie, and Julie made us feel so welcome and took their time recommending items with absolutely no pressure to purchase. Their love for fashion is palpable - you can tell their mission is to make sure everyone that walks through the door finds at least one piece that makes them feel beautiful. Mission completed! Clothes shopping is usually something I dread, but they’ve made it something I will look forward to. Thank you immensely, ladies!

Happened upon this gorgeous shop while on a weekend trip to Cincinnati. Didnt have much time to spend but saw several pieces I liked and left with something small. Incredibly sweet staff and overall great experience. I live about four hours away and have kept an eye on their social media and continue to shop online. Fantastic option for sustainable, ethically sourced and unique goods!

Jessica, Julie, Tessa are amazing! I’ve been a customer of Idlewild before the girls took over, but it was a seamless transition. They stayed true to hard-to-find, unique, sustainable, beautiful clothes that are nothing short of an *experience*. There’s truly nothing like it in the area, which is why I shop there almost exclusively. It’s really difficult to go in there and not find something you’ll completely fall in love with!

Idlewild is the best! The employees are incredible and will open your eyes to new styles that you would have never thought of before. I love knowing that I am wearing sustainable, ethical, and unique pieces.

I must confess, Ive only purchased items from Idlewild online (due to COVID), but their collections are absolutely beautiful. Ive really enjoyed hearing Tessa (the store manager) talk about their pieces, how to style them and see her try items on so that virtual shoppers could see how the clothes look on a body. I also really respect their commitment to providing clothes that are made ethically and sustainably, and work to support Black, Indigenous, and POC designers. Im looking forward to shopping there in person some day!

Beautiful store! The employees are so helpful and nice and make you feel so comfortable in the store and while trying clothes on. They carry a variety of different sizes, unlike many other fashion boutiques in the area, which is amazing! Definitely make it a point to pop in when youre in OTR!

LOVE the variety of sustainable, beautiful pieces and brands carried here. The employees are always there to help and give advice and are SO sweet. Just one of my favorite stores even though Im a broke student.
