They have all the candy and sweets i grew up on, and I love it!

It is quite overpriced for what you are getting but has a large variety of candies you can choose from. If you arent tight on money I recommend coming here.

This is an amazing hidden gem of a candy store, right across the street from Cappels downtown. They have just about every candy you can think of, loose or in bulk, for relatively cheap. The staff are friendly and patient, especially with young kids.

Locals and those traveling, I encourage you to put Minges Peter & Sons candy shop on the top ten places to visit in Downtown Cincinnati. The experience is nostalgic to say the least. Perhaps the experience is more intriguing than the candy selection itself. A subtle version of Willie Wonkas chocolate factory, you cant help but wander through the store looking and smiling because the candy reminds you of way back when. Children will love it. Families may consider Minges Peter & Son candy shop a family favorite. Lottery Tickets are also sold here.

Beckjord power plant had Easter Egg hunts and they all said they wish we still had them.My helpers and I bagged 750 bags of candy every year.Great memories and great fun!!!!!! I got to watch lots of kids grow up year after year. I surely loved it and wish I could do it all again. Loved going to Minges,and now my grandchildren do to!!

This place is fantastic!! There just aren’t places like this anymore.... walls of bulk candy for all generations!! I went here to stock my candy bar for my wedding and have used it for birthday parties since!! LOVE!!

Went in to buy chocolate for Valentine’s Day, was never greeted and had to wait until the lady was done her conversation with a coworker to get any service. When I finally got service service I asked a question about if any of the chocolate had tree nuts in it, which I then got a rude and grumpy response back. Not a really friendly or welcoming place.

Very rush to get me out not real friendly.However cool treat for classroom.

I absolutely love this place. The ladies who own and work there, are some of the coolest people you will ever meet. They even have a program with mentality handicap children. If you are close to downtown, this place is a must visit.

The employees were extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. They have a great selection and the store is clean and organized. I will definitely be back!

Love this Place!! Always shop there whenever we have a big event going on (baby shower, birthday party etc.) for our sweets bar. All the BEST candy from way back when. I never think twice of where to get what I want/need because Minges is the place to be!!!!!

This place was started in 1942, I think. The folks who bought it agreed to keep it looking as original as possible. They mostly have bulk candy for stores to resell, but they also have candy by the piece and pound.
