We lost our contractor late in the game, decided to move forward as our own GP, knowing that this increased the chances of impactful details missed, compromises to be made and general bumps in the road. We understood that intellectually, but it’s different when you are in the moment, when you have no experience. We didn’t realize that Cierra was not only sales, she was also “installation support”. She always called us back promptly, exhibited a fantastic depth of knowledge, always kept her positive disposition and worked us through each challenge.

We have been satisfied customers with Sims Lohman until our most recent purchase of base cabinents and countertop. First of all, when I made a down payment, I was not informed that there would be a fee charged for using a credit card. I was told when making the final paymment...oh, by the way.. there is a charge for using a credit card. OK I will write a check, but need to go to the bank and transfer some funds. When the cabinets arrived, the counter top did not fit, one of the doors was crooked, and a filler was not ordered. Our salesman said he would come out and take a look. He then corrected the order.....the filler arrived, then the countertop..no mention of fixing the door. I called to let our sales rep know that the door still was not fixed, and the countertop had imperfetions and glue in various places. He said I could clean the top with paint thinner. I was not comfortable with this,and what about the flaws in the beveled seams...He said he would send a service man out, and hung up. Serviceman came out, inspected the countertop, and called our salesman, told him the countertop was not satisfactory and should be replaced and he fixed the crooked door. He was great! A few days later we got a new CABINENT DOOR, that we do not need. It has been three weeks, we have not once had a call from our salesman with any kind of apology or maybe a sorry for all the problems, and we are still waiting for COUNTERTOP NUMBER THREE!! Salesman gets a very poor for customer service.
