Time frame for getting it done was only a day over but it was worth the wait, the car came out looking perfect. There were tiny scratches on the spoiler nothing too noticeable. And a bit of missed paint under the trunk lid but besides that they really took their time and made my car look amazing

Great place to take your vehicle for a great paint job ..

Dropped my car off, started off great. They took time to explain what would be done. They were higher then the other quotes but I would get what I wanted and more for the price. Dropped off on 8/31/20 and it wasnt ready until 9/21/20. They had my car so long because of internal Communication issues.Here is what I needed:Damage front driverside panel replacementPaint all damaged areasTire replacement due to accidentPaint car all the way aroundHeres what I got:Damage repairedCar painted but paint on my chromeCar painted but darker than I wanted but was told it may beTire wasnt replaced but paid to be, someone was told to replace the other sideAll in all this job I needed done took to long, I had to call too many times to check the status. The right dont know what the left is doing. DAN knows NOTHING, and really shouldnt talk with customers. When I called about my tire not being replaced he never once apologized for their mess up. Makes no sense. Picture shows the difference in color, paint botches and the panel isnt like it wasnt set right.Needless to say if I go back I need to record everything that is said to me, but based on my experience I more than likely will take my business elsewhere$2600 Bill paid to Macco$1800 quote carstarNow 6 months later new owners and even though the car was painted all over its one on the paperwork and nobody there is helping. Had some hiccups at the northland blvd location but they made everything right at the Kennedy store very happy customer

The experience here started off shaky, the previous mgmt was sub par at best with my truck. Jim took over and did everything he could to make it right.

When the work is done right its great but lately... Uhhh....Nuhhh... My husband took his sub there for a warranty paint job and it took them over a month to do it. When He finally got his truck back it looked complete but upon closer examination there was spots chipped where they peeled tape off and you could see that the truck was never sanded which they promised to do. He had many other issues too many too write and he had to take it back again a whole other week and nothing was fixed again so as of now its looking good but walking up on it, it looks horrible.

This may cause damage to my car runs in my paint I would not recommend this place to anyone

I am very disappointed by my experience with this location, when I first stopped in I was told by I believe her name was Melanie that it would $808.00, thats with putting primer on the hood. Well I went back a little over a week later the regional Manager tells me it cost to Primer the hood, so I said ok my Wife just gave me $250.00 towards the paint job. Then she tells me ok with that we can prime the hood fix a spot on the door, and a spot on the rocker. I was excited so I said ok go ahead, see my wife saved for a long time to buy this car for me, because I sold my first hotrod to take her on a honeymoon. Well fast forward I get the car back and none of the spots that I was told would be fixed were not, And when I asked about them I was told by Jennifer that the paint couldnt be warranted because I did some body work on it before paint, but I thought that doesnt make sense she knew I did some work on it when she told me those spots were gonna be fixed. And when I asked for my $250 back I was told to bad. And now the front bumper is bubbling after only 2 months, and its bubbling in a spot that I didnt do the prep work. So that leads me to believe, they did a bad job prepping before paint. Just dont go here, their rating tells you all you need to know.

They miss so many spots on my car and when I acknowledge it they tried to make me use my warranty. They made me wait 2 weeks to come back to repaint it. He gave me a date saying it will be finish when that date came they didn’t even touch it. . Paint still look trash.

They were, by far, the friendliest collision repair center that I received a quote from in Cincinnati! I went to five different places to evaluate the damage of my car and to receive an estimate, and Maaco was superior to the others in terms of customer service, pricing, project time, and offering the best overall experience. Their quote was significantly below all of their competitors. I would highly recommend them and I strongly believe they have the best representation by staff in the entire city - they’re helpful, genuinely nice, and demonstrate a care for their customers. Maaco is outstanding!

Vehicle has been there for 2 weeks and still wasnt ready to go.

Good quality paint at reasonable price. They dilverd the car on time, as promised. The only minor comment that prevented the 5 stars score, is having paint on the front window rubber seal/trim..I will have to go back and have them cleaned.

I keep having to take my car back they missed so many parts on the car I had to get another paint color because they didn’t have the material to match the paint I choose in there book so I picked a new color once they finish the car a month later the paint is starting to chip I paid $2600 for the paint and still having issues

Never again. Dropped my car off on a Saturday at the Kennedy location. To have bumper repaired and paint job. Was told id be ready for pick up on Wensday. 4 days. When i called. They tell me Saturday. Which would be a week. Now when i called they telling me another Wednesday which is almost 2 weeks just to get a bumper and a paimt job done? I came with my own parts so they didnt have to order anything!. They always have an excuse such as our paint machines were down If you do get a car painted or work done from here, i do not recommend trusting the pick up date. Especially if you work like me. And have to keep calling off and switching days you can return. It makes me seem like a lier. Like im unprepared because they bad at there job. Did not think it would take almost 2 weeks to have minor work done. Can i cancel the paint job and just pay for the labor of them fixing my bumper? I mean they havent even started Yet and its going on the second week

Staff was very nice but they are unprepared when it comes to major collision work. The estimate was a guesstimate, nothing itemized but quoted me a over the top price quote for parts without even looking under the hood to see what else may be damaged. They told us theyd call in a day we waited and ended up having to call them 3 days later! Only to hear what we already knew what was wrong. If you need body work done take it to a body n collison place that specializes in body work not light scrapes n dents and paint.

My paint job looks great. Everything else about how this business is run, is horrible. I scheduled a month out to have my truck painted, in which I was told it would take a week. 2 1/2 weeks later I was still getting vanilla answers on when it would be ready. The typical answer is call back tomorrow after 1 and well let you know. I lost 3 days of work costing more than the paint job itself. Would not recommend people to waste their time and money at this place!

Maaco did a wonderful job with my accident collision claim. They were prompt, and professional with my insurance claim and everything worked out fine.

Kyle was very helpful diagnosing my suspension issue and gave me some great tips on what I should replace myself instead of having to take it to a mechanic. If I ever have any body or frame issues I will definitely come back!

I did not receive the service that I agreed to. My car was supposed to be sanded and painted but only parts of the car was. The damage that I was getting fixed was not completely fix. The paint job was horrible and I was over charged for the work I received. Very disappointed from my results. I expected so much better from this company. Never again!

Ive used maaco for years for any collision repair Ive had but this most recent experience will be my last time EVER! I had to have a fender and door replaced and they had my car for over a month! Very bad communication, and everytime I was given a date to pick my car up they pushed the date further. I would never recommend!

The one on Kennedy Avenue is the worst paint shop in the world they have had my car for almost 3 months and have a new excuse every time I come to see when my car will be done

Dan, don’t know his position in the place, he was fighting with someone on the phone and hung up on person when i walked in. Once he was ready to talk to me he was rude and disrespectful. Talking to my daughter and i like we were dogs.. He literally told me to sit, as a command and pointed to where. Did not even look up at me. I can guarantee you he would never talk to a man that way. We ended just walking out.

Love, love, love our paint job. Our Jeep has a good 100,000 miles left in its life. We had the entire thing painted after we got keyed on one side, had scuff damage on the other and paint started peel in various places. Our car looks new. I am so happy we invested in this now so I can enjoy that new car feeling. They even cleaned our interior before I picked it up. We are VERY pleased.

Good detailing on my car but whoever worked on my car stole all my change for inside my car, which was a lot. Almost around $14 in change I’ve collected over the years and they rearranged all my belongings in my car when they never needed to go in my car besides moving it in/out of the shop. I feel like they are untrustworthy and shouldnt have moved my stuff let alone stole my change from me. I know it’s not the entire company but just be more mindful than I was with your belongings when you go to them.

Had car painted here and it had specs of dirt and hair throughout. Window stripping was poorly masked so paint got on them and looks very sloppy. Car parts missing around my rear wiper that were removed to paint and not put back. Asked for parts back and was told they didn’t have them. Furthermore, the rear windshield wiper was no longer working now so I had look on YouTube to figure out how to remove it and readjust for it to work properly again. Nothing like paying for a paint job and bringing home a new project to work on. They said they would do the rework and fix the problems including replacing the missing parts. Took it back in and left it for a week to have all of these issues remedied only to return to pick it up a week later and see that none of them were corrected. Can you imagine? It just sat there. What a waste. They told me to give them another chance and to bring it back in which I was going to do but decided to cut my losses. I no longer wanted to put anymore of my time into this. Not to mention I lost trust in them and thought it was likely they could make it worse. Throughout discussions about how and why the paint looked like it did I was told that they do not claim to do a perfect paint job. Funny they never mentioned that it wouldn’t be perfect when they sold me the service. I don’t think a paint job with dirt and hair throughout is imperfect, I think it is shoddy. They kept pointing to the paper saying “it says right here small imperfections may show!” That could mean anything they need it to after the fact in order to justify their poor quality work. Lesson learned. They got my $850 but lost any future business I would’ve brought there way, or referred others to. I gave them 2 stars because the paint does looks good if you don’t look closely or are moving past at a high rate of speed.

I havent had the Maaco car painting experience yet, but my friends have used their services in the past and had no complaints. However, car repairs by Will, is excellant and professional. Great affordable prices and I trust him and the mechanics to work on my truck. Everyone who works there is nice, helpful and friendly. They have a business and not slow to get the job done.

We were recommended to use Maaco by our insurance company after having our car hit on our street. The damage with small and we were told we would have our car back in a week. Here we are 3 weeks later and still do not have our car. They never contact use to tell us why we are experiencing these delays or when we can expect to get our car back and therefore the only communication has been when we have called. When we call they are vague, never give us a reason, and just tell us “it will be ready by the end of the week.” DO NOT USE MAACO

Amazing customer service! Due to heading out-of-state I asked if they could paint a bumper I purchased for a minor accident so I could head home. I dropped it off at 4p and Mike got it done overnight and called me as soon as it was done at 930a the next morning! That is service! Plus he charged me what he quoted me. Top notch for sure.

My paint job on my two tone truck cost a bit more than hoped, the job was delayed almost 3 weeks the job felt rushed and there was slight damage to my vehicle (they fixed it) if you need a paint job and dont feel like putting in the leg work to do research. Go for it, just dont have high expectations.

Paint job looks very good. Security is not good. My car was gone thru with glove box and other storage units contents left out on seats. I had prepared for that and I left nothing of value in it when dropping off the car so I assume the car wasn’t locked while in lot

Went to macco to get a bumper replaced. I worked with Justin who answered all of my questions, quoted me a good price for the job and had the repair completed quickly and the new bumper looking like new. I would definitely recommend anyone to use macco for thier repair work 😁

I would first of all like to give a thank you to the great customer service and employees at Maaco for working their butts off to finish my car in 1.5 days. I was a first time Maaco customer and had a dent and deep scratch appraised on my new to me automobile. The price was well better than CARSTAR and other collision and paint shops anywhere I could find. Not only did they fast track my car to get finished before the holidays but they kept there word. Very important and meant a lot to me being a first time customer. They even called and told me about a shady previous repair job that had taken place before I purchased the vehicle that went unnoticed to me but not the experts there . I have a black 2011 Toyota Camry that looks flawless now thanks to the great people at Maaco. Once again I would like to reiterate that i am a first time customer and I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks again Maaco!

Terrible service. Went in on Saturday to get a quote about replacing a side view mirror. Waited an hour just for them to take down my information and tell me theyd call me back Monday with a quote. Called them around 2pm on Monday to see if the quote was ready and they couldnt even find my information anywhere...gave them my information again. They called back saying they needed my vin, and asked if I could text it to them. So I told them to text me from the number they want me to send it to and Ill provide the info. 2 hours pass, no text. Call back AGAIN and give a different person my VIN, name, number, all my info for the 3rd time...get a called back 30 minutes later, they think the VIN is wrong because its not giving them the right make/model of the car. Walk out to my car to confirm the VIN is correct, when I got to my car all of 60 seconds later it appears no one is on the other end of the phone, and all I can hear are the employees arguing in the background and cursing each other out. After several hello?s they hung up. And that was that. I guess I cant speak for their actual work because I couldnt even get to that part after several attempts, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Asked a few questions about geting some scatches repaired and was talked to as if i was speaking a different language. If i could give them negative stars i would.

The hood of my 2005 Passat had the clear coat peeling and looking rather cancerous. I took it into Maaco just to have the hood painted and they did a great job. Not only did they paint the hood they did a good job of top to bottom cleaning the exterior and blending the paint to the front fenders. I would gladly recommend them.

The owner is a “crook” I sent him 1998 Durango for a customer of mine. Before that people told me not to try the place due to work done. However I went ahead and asked them to paint the upper flares (area by tires) due to rust . He charged my customer 350 and painted over rust ...are u serious how come u spray rust without treating it. Don’t come here try other Macco or make my mistake

I contacted them several times for an estimate, they never got back to me via email, nor do they answer their phones. Laughing stock of an establishment if you ask me.

This place got 1 star but they deserve none. Dan is the manager there and has absolutely no customer service skills. First he told me to sand my car down to the bare metal. Including the spoiler, take off the primer and everything. I did that and brought it back to be painted. He inspected the car, printed out the invoice with the price, had me sign it, and sent me on my way. Late the next afternoon I got a phone call telling me I would have to come up with another $50 so he could smooth out and primer my spoiler. I told him that he was the one who told me to sand off the primer and he knew I had done that when he gave me the price. He said if I didnt want to pay it, he wouldnt honor the warranty for the paint on the car. I asked him to split it with me because I thought he was to blame but I would accept some responsibility as well. He told me no and said Come get your damn car. I found it hard to believe that he would lose a customer over $25, so I asked to speak to the owner. He told me no again and hung up. They were offering a $50 off coupon. I picked up my car the next day and found out that they had already stripped the badges and molding and sanded down most of the car. I drove it down the road to the Maaco on Northland Boulevard and was astonished at the difference. Very professional, very courteous and upfront. They even doubled the coupon and gave me $100! Dont waste your time with this place. Go straight to the Maaco on Northland in Tri-County.

I love my new paint job

I went to Maaco hoping they would paint my car to looking brand new. When I went to pick it up upon completion, there was paint dripping off the side. They didnt offer anything in exchange for their mess-up. The 2nd time I went to pick it up, they didnt clean it off properly and so I left again without my car. I am so disappointed and quite angry at this point. Again, they didnt offer anything in exchange and they have had my car for 5 days now as opposed to a normal 3. Unprofessional and I will not come here again.

Dave Larkin is the Manager/Master Painter at this Location hes a stand up gentleman when it comes to a courteous professional service Mr Larkin has painted many vehicles for me 8 to be exacting, I dont know how this locations owner Mike was fortunate enough to find and bring Dave on board at this maaco, This gentleman Dave as I said is a top skilled painter and best manager for Maaco money can buy you cant find better, in past encounters Ive spoken with Dave about running a Maaco for me if I bought the location Im seeking, Im offering Dave a substantial amount to come and run my macco, so this should tell you what an exceptional service you will receive when dealing with this Maaco now.

Had my entire car painted at this location, with no prep work done by me, with one of their less expensive options. Upon pick-up i honestly thought that the car was going to look like a $500 paint job was slapped on it (orange peel, waves in the paint, patterns, ect), which i wasnt concerned about since this was a flip car that i really had no interest in. However, i was presented with soooo much more than just a misley $500 paint job. When they pulled around my car my jaw hit the floor, the car looked stunning!! soo much better than i anticipated! they even went as far as cleaning my interior for me, i literally felt like i was picking up a newley purchased car! (keep in mind that i have owned this car for 4 years and havent cleaned it yet) So overall i was beyond impressed with what they did for me, Justin and Dan were the two that took care of me and they had some of the best customer service skills, always kept me posted and called me with any little update they had for me. GREAT JOB GUYS!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! (oh and because the car looks soo good, i have decided against selling it. It is now my daily driver. All because of a wonderful wonderful paint job! :) thank you!)

Re: Maaco on Kennedy Ave in Cincinnati.Terrible service. Car left there for two days, and nothing was done to remove the plastic film on the hood of the car that was cracked. Lots of excuses that meant nothing. I was inconvenienced for 2 days and had to inconvenience my family as well to take me back and forth to drop it off and pick it up.

Dan is very rude. His customer service skills alone will be the reason i never use this location.

Don’t ever go here! They are extremely unprofessional and do a lousy job on services. On top of it all, they LOST MY CAR KEYS. They promised to get me a new key within a week and it’s been months. I am putting a formal complaint in with BBB. STAY AWAY!!
