I went to American Freight looking for a counter height chair to go along with the wooden set my mother already has. Needless to say, I wanted a more comfortable style chair and wasnt feeling optimistic about my choices. Fortunately, Ian came out with a pair of chairs that were exactly what I was looking for and matched the original set perfectly!If youre looking for quality furniture at good prices, American Freight is your best option! Hello,In September 2020 (last month), I purchased a Kenmore elite refrigerator, a GE double wall oven, a whirlpool washer and dryer from this store. After delivery, the refrigerator has never worked (turns on but does not cool), the double wall oven does not work (turns on and has a defective error code) and the washer does not start without several attempts. I called the store and was asked to call the a manufacturer as the items are under warranty. Two months later, I still have defective products, the fridge and wall oven have not worked from day 1. Sears sent a technician to our home for the fridge and after inspection, the technician said the fridge had a bad condenser and should not have been sold to a customer. He was also reluctant to try any repair and asked me to call the sears home warranty for replacement. Two months later and many hours spent with various calls to various 1-800 numbers, everyone apologizes, but says it’s not their department and I to this day I have not had a working fridge. GE sent a technician to the house and he said the computer board, the fan and other items are defective and need to be replaced, the oven still does not work. GE said they will need to order parts and will call once the parts are in stock to arrange repair. I paid $ 5,522 for the four items collective. Please do not fall for the deals it is not worth the hassle. You may ask how come I have not returned the items to the store? I would need professional movers and a truck to get the four appliances back to the store. I do not post reviews online and do not have the time for frivolous postings. This is my first time and really just want to warn other buyers out there to steer clear of this store as it is not worth the hassle. The items look good in the store, but my reality is very different. I will post pics of the items below and if you do need additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to save you the pain that is now my reality. A company cannot be judged on anything but the final outcome and these guys put up with a lot of unforeseen circumstances and for the way they dealt with that in our case I give them high praise and steer anyone looking to stop and check this company out! Horrible delivery & even worse customer service. I was supposed to receive a call by 11:30a regarding delivery, but never received it. Every time I called, the only thing their employees kept telling me was that it was on the way. 6p came around. Still waiting. Still being told that my delivery is on the way, but no one can say when. Listen people, just pay the little extra money for quality delivery/customer service. You will regret it.

Total scam artists. I ordered an oven and paid an extra $80 for delivery and haul-away of the old unit. The deliverymen showed up, said they werent qualified to hook it up, and plopped it in the middle of my kitchen with a crumpled receipt scotch taped to the top (picture below).I called the store manager, Helena, 5 minutes after the delivery to cancel the order. She told me Id have to wait almost 2 weeks to have the unit picked up, and wouldnt get a refund until the item was restocked. I asked Helena if I could speak to her district manager and give him a chance to make it right. Helena told me that her manager didnt have a working phone number.She said this with a straight face.So now I have to either let this new oven sit in my kitchen for 2 weeks and hope that Sears will stay in business in the duration, or pay someone else to install it and haul away the old unit. Like everyone who theyve scammed, Im forced to do the latter.Word to the wise. Spend a few more dollars and buy an appliance from an honest company. These guys are on the grift and take zero accountability for their deliveries.

Absolutely horrible service. I got here early in the morning on a Saturday at 10am to buy a dryer and they didnt open until 12 even though the store time on the door and online says Monday - Saturday 10am to 8pm. There were a line of other customers waiting also with me. It was ridiculous !!!!
This place is awesome. The salesman. are attentive to you. I am going back to purchase a bedroom sets. I bought a mattress for $93 the original price was $900. It was part of Sears Outlet. This is the best kept furniture secret in Cincinnati. But I know everyone will be shopping there..
They have a lot of appliances at great discount prices. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. The only issue I had was that the delivery driver called and was going to arrive over an hour before the 2 hour window they gave me for delivery. This was an issue because both my husband and I were at work. They did arrive early, but waited on my husband to get there. They were quick and efficient with installation.

This was our 1st time shopping with American Freight & we actually found them by accident, turning into the wrong parking lot. But we were in immediate need of a new refrigerator, since our old one went out through the night. We were able to buy a brand new refrigerator at half the price & take it home at the same time! Customer service was also terrific, we will definitely be return customers & refer others to them!

Tyler & Hawke are the best. So I was having a hard time trying to figure out a washer and dryer for me and my children and they went out of their way to fix whatever issues I was having as well as to make sure that my appliances were delivered to my home immediately I have no complaints I am in love love love with my washer and dryer top of the line GE my kids like it its great for huge loads and bulky items and next time youre in there ask for those two and I reassure you that you will be the happiest person on her thanks Tyler &Hawke!!!!

He said they had what I needed and he could help us out. He explained where they were ( I didnt even know that was them there in that spot. Went to that area a million times and didnt know they were there) . Mr Claude was with a anothet couple at the time, we waited until he was free. Sears Outlet Store was a pleasure to deal with. I was looking for a gas range and found one that I liked in a very short time. The sales lady was very courteous and helpful in examining the range. All and all it was a nice experience.
My fiance and I bought a fridge on black Friday. It was delivered a week and a half later. One of the guys doing the delivery had to go into the basement to shut off the water line, while they installed the fridge. We have cats and their letter boxes are the basement, in a separate room. The door to that room is always propped open to allow them in and out. The water line is not in that room. When the guy went to the basement I went down with him, to help him find the line. The door to the litter box room was ajar when we went back upstairs. My fiance and I stayed out of their way while the guys hooked up the fridge. When they finished the same guy the went to the basement went down there again to turn the water back on. He did not say he ways going down there, so I didnt go down there with him. He comes back up and tells theyre finished and then they leave. A few days later I walk down to the basement after smelling an awful smell from the basement. I find that my cats have been going to the bathroom all over the carpet and the door to the litter box room was completely shut. The last person in the basement was the delivery guy. He had no reason to shut that door or to do anything else in the basement besides turn on the water line. The water line isnt even in that room. My fiance called the store to file a complaint. The manager informed that they outsource their deliveries and would call back with their managers contact information. She never did. My fiance calls back again and gets a different manager. That manager refuses to give any information about the delivery company, argues with my fiance, and says its all our fault. Is this how you treat your customers? We were going to buy more appliances from you, but now well take our money elsewhere and spreading the word of your terrible management.
Nice store. Huge selection of new and scratch and dent items. Was surprised of other items besides appliances, like rugs, sheets, blenders, etc. Sales staff were very nice with out being pushy or hoovering. Items were easy to find

I tried to place a delivery order in the store. Helana told me she cant now was supposed to call me back and never did. I stopped in the store a week later and she told me I had to wait for some sort of store survey. I completed the survey. I called again and she said the survey results still havent come back. We are at 3 WEEKS AND COUNTING to get a price quote to place an order! This is a dysfunctional store.

Always had good luck buying scratch and dent from here. Soon needed a washer and dryer so we went here and saved some dough. Appliances are dented on the side and you cant see that when installed. No issues.

Today my spouse and I went into your local business and received TOP NOTCH customer service. From being greeted apon arrival to one on one service. We bought a beautiful patio furniture set and a garden tool. Tasha was AMAZING!!! She told us our many options and then some, please allow me to speak also on the behave of Logan. His kind and friendly smile can brighten a room. This was our 2nd time doing business with this location. We bought our stove, refrigerator and a gas dryer from this location. Even though we received good service that visit as well, todays visit definitely topped our trips! I will most definitely refer anyone to this location. Customer service is so hard to come by now a days and to still receive service like what we got today, makes spending our hard earned money worth it. I just bought a home and come in and there is no one at the front desk and so i walk around a bit assuming its busy. I find a fridge I like and pay for in full. I ask for it to be delivered but what they failed to tell me is that they can even give me a time range of when it will be delivered or even the number that will call me to let me know when it will be delivered. All they could tell me is that it would be on Saturday. I have a job and i informed them that i would need at least a 30 minute to 60 minute notice so i can leave work on my time and be at the house for delivery and installation. They lack enthusiasm and energy unfortunately and are trained well or even informed well to give there guest enough information to at least keep them content. This is the last time i buy from this company and its disappointing because i thought highly of it.

Not a great selection but ina pinch it works. Be careful of lease and financing, interest rates are not clear in advertising or inquiries, but they come out at the register. Pay off early! Store is a open box, scratch and dent. Bring your own tie downs or bungie cords, none are supplied. Not many employees for help, but when they do they are helpful. Online is confusing and broad covering all stores in US

This place is a giant shame. The professional company they use to deliver appliances to your home brought a refrigerator to mine and took a huge chunk out of my previously beautiful hardwood floors. This happened in April and I got zero response from the delivery company and to DATE zero efforts on the part of SEARS (for crying out loud!) to make this right. Apparently, SEARS feels like their customers should pay for their gross incompetence. I will never buy another appliance from any SEARS store and I will encourage every person I know to boycott their stores as well.

UPDATES BELOW:Im raising this review to two stars, because Samantha was so great to work with--she deserves five stars.Note: some of the issues I had with this purchase were due to the delivery service used by this store. However, I believe they have had issues with this delivery service in the past, and if management isnt willing to switch to a different delivery service, the poor service is, in fact, their fault. Also, I WILL probably shop at this store again as I like the low prices. Judge for yourself whether it is worth the extra hassle for you.Bought a washer and dryer during a move and was told they would be installed and you can do laundry the same day. The delivery guy told me that I didnt have a drainage hose for the washer or exhaust hose for the dryer so Id have to buy at Lowes and install myself. He failed to level the units, and merely plopped the units in place and connected the water inlet hoses to my sink but not the washer. No laundry that day.Dragged my 4-month-old to Lowes, bought the parts that I later learned were supposed to come WITH the units. After struggling for an hour with what was supposed to be easy, and then trying to level the very heavy units, called the store for help, was on hold for 20 minutes (completely silent) before hanging up. Tried 11 more times, and each time the line rang for a minute before a message played saying, Please enter your remote access code.After posting a negative review, the store manager responded asking me to email him, which I did. Within a half hour I received a call from Samantha, apologizing for my trouble. She issued a refund of the delivery/setup fee, and scheduled another installation visit for the following Sunday morning. I asked if the visit window could be scheduled for after 1 PM, and she said she would make a note of that (the delivery service ended up ignoring her request).Night before the installation visit I received a notification that the technician would arrive between 8 AM - 10 AM. We were out of town so I had to leave early that morning to arrive home by 8 AM and cancelled a prior appointment. After many attempts to contact the late delivery service they arrived at 2 PM--and told me that they couldnt have ever arrived by 8 as they needed to wait until the Sears store opened at 10 AM. Obviously, this issue was related to the delivery service itself. Note to Sears Outlet management: choose a different service, immediately.The technician finished installing the washer, which has worked great since that day--so thank you for that. There were some issues with the dryer set up (exhaust hose I purchased was not long enough, etc.). Samantha even sent out another technician to finish the setup, but when he was unsuccessful (due to misunderstanding one of the extra parts she sent with him) my husband and I purchased additional parts and completed the installation. Samantha issued us a credit for the parts we purchased, as well as a bit extra to cover my husbands time. We really appreciated this.We next realized that the dryer sounded quite loud when it ran, eventually had a repairman come to look at it, and he discovered that it needed a new motor and fan. He had to order the parts and scheduled an additional visit two weeks out. Everything was under warranty so we are not paying any additional fees out of pocket. However, the you can do laundry the next day has turned into living without a dryer for a month. I understand that we purchased a returned dryer, but that dryer was supposed to have been inspected to ensure that it was in working order. Instead, we ended up with a dryer that was a fire hazard, according to the repairman.

Negative to a positive.. I went in shopping for a top loading washing machine and the manager talked me into a front loader and told me if I didnt like it he would exchange it for my top loader so I figured I would try it. Had the front loader 2 weeks and it started leaking water everywhere. I called the manager and he kept his word and exchanged the washing machine to the top loader I was looking at. I asked him if I needed to come in and get paper work he told me he would send everything (I financed and had a warranty) about a month later I received something in the mail saying add warranty to my new washer. I called to speak to the manager to find out what was going on and found out he was no longer employed there and they had a few fill in managers that kept telling me they had a new manager coming and she would take care of it. Finally the new manager Denise was there I explained the situation and she took care of everything. She turned a really unpleasant situation into a positive. Wish there were more great managers like Denise!
Sorry company that completely lies about everything to try and survive. Might as well close the doors.

Shopping at the Sears outlet was a quick and efficient. We found our item online, called the store and went in the store and I was back home within 1/2 hour with my purchase scheduled for delivery.
