Ok. So since living here in SD for 5 years. This has been my number 1 liquor store. Theres always one main guy behind the register. Very friendly and recognizes me and my husband. No problems! They close kinda early for my liking. But thats ok.

Best liqor store in chula vista in my opinion owner rivan is the awesome very helpful and always stocked on my favorite product I will be back.

*If you are planning to buy craft beer here -READ THIS*TL:DR - I spent ~$60 on craft beer and had to pour it all down the drain because it was so old that it didnt even taste like beer anymore. BEWARE! Or at least check the born on date for every craft beer.I was in the area of Bobar Liquor 5, needed beer, and noticed that its rating high on Maps (4.8). I went and was very pleasantly surprised by the craft beer selection which also included a couple of fridges of Singles (16oz. Cans normally in 4pks) which is nice to be able to try a single beer.Went home, drank the first Single and it was good. Tried the next 3 ( all different beers from different breweries) and they were undrinkable. Most expired a year+ ago. Then I tried 2 Singles each from a 4pk that I bought. I drink these specific beers all the time and they were so bad I also bad to pour them down the drain (over 1 year old). So that was another 8 Singles (2 x 4pks!) wasted!I would have gone back to request a refund but figured they wouldnt believe me and I live too far anyway.

A HUGE selection of beer and spirits. The prices are great and you will find rare beer and spirits as well. They have everything you need to enjoy a day or night of drinking. They even have 2 liter sodas in the fridge so you can enjoy your drink without having to wait on some ice. Definitely the place to buy your liquor of choice.
