Wont purchase from Advance again. Ordered online to pick up at this location for an in-stock item. Went way out of the way, arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night, and they are closed. All standing outside talking. They said they closed at 6. Hours are until 9. Vehicle is apart and cant get the parts. All other auto parts are open.

First class service dont push parts you dont need and help if youre on a budget. Travis is the guy to see hes knowledgeable and a pleasant guy to work with

I want to bring kudos to Zack he was great help save me money gave me a lot of information I will most definitely stop there again to shop and buy my auto parts.

I try not to go to any of these places if I can. Prices are far better online.

Only took 3 trips to get the order right then had to go across town to get the rest of the order plus the people were rude like it was my fault that they couldnt fill an order.

Returned an intermittently, defective Lifetime Warranty alternator for a replacement with the receipt (13 months old, looks like brand new). Explained to the employee that the alternator has left me stranded twice, alternator works sometimes, but most of the time it does not (especially when cold). I installed a digital voltmeter right next to the cigarette lighter in the car right after the first time it left me stranded (and just started working again the next day), so I can monitor the vehicle voltage. With the digital voltmeter, I can tell exactly when the alternator stops working. When they bench tested the alternator in the heated building after being taken out of my heated backup car it bench tested fine. And they said they cannot do anything about it. One of the employees blamed it on an oil leak causing the belt to slip. How did you determine that genius? Not a spec of oil on the alternator, the car doesnt have an oil leak (he didnt see the car anyway) and it doesnt burn oil. As a matter of fact, it looked almost brand new because it was only 13 months old and we rarely drive this car. Talk about pulling a lame excuse out of your a**hole. It doesnt take a brain surgeon to realize that these Lifetime Warranty replacement parts are rebuilt with cheap, China components and that the parts stores are banking on you loosing your receipt or getting rid of the vehicle before the part fails. And yes, they will fail way before a quality OEM part. I have had this same issue occur 3 times on another rebuilt Lifetime Warranty alternator that I purchased many years ago from OReilly auto parts. They warrantied it every single time, no questions asked. Sorry for interrupting your smoke break right in front of the store jacka**! If I could leave a negative review I would. I will never shop at Advance Auto Parts again, especially the Chippewa Falls, WI location!!!!

Most of the staff is very knowledgeable! Occasionally youll get one that looks at you weird if you ask a part by a different name than they it it as. Would like to see more of a selection diy tools and hardware. But otherwise good service
