Wow!! I don’t know if I’ve ever felt so grateful & excited to see my car waiting for me in a parking lot! I was told lies by two mechanics before coming here, was thinking I’d probably have to spend thousands because of transmission issues, but A1 heard me, looked at the most simple things first like I asked, and was able to get my car functioning properly with 2 little fixes !!! I am going here for any and all Auto needs now. I can’t say THANK YOU enough!

Just took my Jeep in for a look see. These folks called me back and told me they did the work I wanted...but couldnt do anything else because it wouldnt fix what I was looking to fix. They are honest and forthright...I only wish they did transmission rebuilds....I would pay them without a second thought. Top notch establishment.

The receptionists are friendly and kept me in the loop of each repair step. They were upfront about costs and I believe the prices are very fair. They are definitely my go to mechanics here in Chino Hills.

It is finally such a relief to find such a god send of an auto shop! Extremely competent, professional, transparent, trustworthy, reliable, helpful and reasonably priced. They are not out to take advantage of the consumer. I was referred by at least 4 people and I reluctantly tried them being afraid of mechanics after a bad experience. I had a AAA certified shop outright lie to me telling me I needed a transmission flush when they did not know I had it 10 days prior...A-1 Auto Expert is the best mechanic shop around! Do not confuse with the other one with a similar sounding name. I will never go elsewhere and recommend everyone to try them. If you have any issues, ask for Rifah. She will make sure you are completely satisfied.

I cant say enough about this shop. Rifa is very knowledgable and her crew is very good. I can always count on honest work and reasonable prices. Would not trust another shop.

Had a great experience. I recently moved to the Chino area and was looking for a new place to take my car. I contacted Rifa through Yelp and she was super communicative and made me feel at ease before I even walked in the door. I waited there for them to check my car and they gave me a fair enough quote for the repair my car needs. After that Rifa went over in detail with me why the services were needed and what to expect. Being a woman is hard in the auto repair shop but Rifa really made me feel comfortable and I will 100% be back!

DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING DONE AT THIS SHOP. They are not honest. I took my Mazda 5 in for a check engine light. They told me that a sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. I had them replace the sensor for 177.00. I picked up the car and drove about a 1/4 mile and the check engine light came back on. I returned to have them fix the check engine light. When I went back to pick up car they stated to me that there was another sensor that was bad and it would be another 177.00. I took my car back to work and opened the hood. I found that the sensor that was BAD was unplugged. THEY ARE NOT HONEST. They lied to me. I told them that I have low trust with mechanics and shops.Please do not patronize this shop. You have been warned.

I took my Honda Civic into A1-Auto Experts to get a second opinion after the dealership had told me that I needed a brake fluid exchange. My car has a little over 19,000 miles on it so I was quite hesitant when they told me I needed that done, and decided that I wanted to have someone else check if I actually needed it done or not. When I walked in I was greeted by Steven who was very nice and asked me what I needed done. I told him that I had just came from the dealership and wanted them to check if I actually needed a brake fluid exchange. He said they would be more than happy to do a free safety check on my car even though it typically costs around $85. He also told me that he would be very surprised if I actually needed that done given the amount of miles on my car but that if I did they charge $100. Then they take my car to the back and I waited outside. About 15 minutes later Steven comes outside to inform me that they were done with my car and that I did not need a fluid exchange but that my filters were dirty and needed to be changed. He then tells me that with the cost of filters and labor it would be around $75. I nicely explain to him that I already knew I needed those changed and that I didnt come in here for that because my dad can change them for me. He responded rudely and said I just had my guy waste 20 minutes on inspecting your car and now you are not even going to change your filters with us. You should really think about doing business with us as we just did this for you for free. I informed him that I am sorry if he was under the impression I was going to have my filters changed but that we had never spoke about that and that he had also already told me it was free of charge. He then was clearly upset and walked away. Then the technician brings my car out to the front and I go to get the key from him and he tells me wait. So I wait outside for about 5 minutes then decide to go in to see what was going on. I go inside and ask if I could please get my key back and the owner Ms. Zahida refuses to give me my key back and tells me I owe them money. I inform them that the agreement I signed clearly stated this was a free general safety check and that Steven had also verbally told me it would be no charge. Ms. Zahida proceeded to verbally harass me and tell me that most places charge for an inspection and now they are charging me $25 because they ordered air filters specifically for my car. She then goes in the back and gets a box of air filters that were allegedly just ordered for my car in the total of 40 minutes that I was at this place. I informed her that I had never once agreed to get my filters changed with them and was very transparent about my intentions when I came in. I told them that what they were doing was illegal and I would be reporting it and that I needed their license number as it was not posted anywhere that was visible for customers to see. Ms. Zahida proceeds to tell me that she will not give me her license number and I could look it up online. Then she gave Steven the ok to give me my key back. I told him I was sorry he had to work for a person who was dishonest and scams people out of money. After getting my keys back I ended up leaving the place after being told by Steven that she was calling the cops on me. My concerns is that since the owner refused to provide me the license # that they might not even be licensed.

I came to this place by accident when I thought it was the a1 auto recommended to me. Turns out there are 2 locations in Chino. I left my car because I was already at this location. The guy in charge was honest and got my car fixed in an hour and a half. He also was very reasonably priced. My car is fixed! Should have gone to him instead of the brake stop in Diamond Bar from the beginning. Thank you! I will be returning for future car repair needs.

This place excellent they make sure everything you need to get done they definitely are not out to screw you they have to make sure all your things in your car get done and the price is right there quick on oil changes as long as you get there early in the morning they do not take reservations but they try to make sure everyone can get what they need done

Been taking our cars here for a couple of years now and I was really sorry to hear about the passing of Razi.. He was such a great man. I am very happy the business has decided to remain open. Honest and fair priced! Wont go anywhere else!

Razi has proven to be knowledgeable, honest, and well priced for auto repairs. My family has four older cars that require repairs now and then and hes provided really good service. I have owned cars for close to 30 years and A-1 auto stands head and shoulders above the competition. Thanks Razi!
