This place is like a VIP club downtown Chicago every single cashier there is most definitely the whole they are so friendly they are the fastest liquor store I have ever seen in my and you can really make good friends if it wasnt for me being open when they do close on that do. I will pick this store over any liquor and the world!!!!AND PLUS THERES NEVER ANY VIOLENCE ANY TIME THERE!!! THANKS MIDWAY

The liquor store been here for decades just new name and owner, the cashiers are really cool and nice, they definitely have a large inventory and selection on goods and it definitely gets busy with lots of customers only thing I hate is finding parking and on most days it can be difficult finding space.

Thats where I love to play the lottery, they are nice and friendly 😊😊😊

Affordable neighborhood liquor store, only downside is parking and hassle at times.

Its one of the very few Liquor Stores that remain in our predominantly Black neighborhoods!! Its owned by another person of color, an Hispanic Individual, who has always taken pride in his ownership of this store! Over the years, the store has always been, well main- tained, inside and outside and the proprietor has always employed people of color!! Although, Ive always been just a social drinker, Id rarely purshase alcohol at the store, but it sells many other reasonably priced, non alcohol items. However, my main attraction to the store is its IL Lottery Counter! I would often purchase Lottery Tickets there, moreso for my dad before his demise. Midway Liquor Store is a Neighborhood Landmark that Im Truly Grateful still exists!!

I look for the lowest prices when I shopped this by far is one of the places with a deal on Hennessy!

Hello my name is James Demus. Im a regular customer at the Liquor store at 55th and state. I typically spend about 500 dollars a week on the lottery. Today is a very sad day for me because I came in the store tonight to play my numbers. I wrote them all down on plane English. One of my numbers were 509 which I played two dollars straight and fifty fifty. The ladies played only fifty fifty. So now Im put off a thousand dollars because of her mistake. What do you think about this. And what should I do.
