Love this place! Its a little expensive, but they always have a super cool selection of curated things. They always have limited releases of SOMETHING on hand, be it beer, wine, ice cream, or whatever. Always something new to find here and the staff will help you find it. Worth a visit, stop by during one of their many tasting days to get some good samples!

This store is super cute! Great place to get those local items that are made in and around Chicago... such as honey. They have some really great wines and cheeses you may not have tried before! I even bought a few candles that are made in Edgewater, honey made in Rogers Park, and fancy cheese made in Wisconsin.

Beer, wine, whiskey, barbecue, and more... This place really knows what I love, hah! Seriously great place to get reasonably priced, high quality stuff. They have tastings and employees are welcoming and knowledgeable.

A hidden gem of Uptown! If you are looking for that perfect gift- and especially if that gift includes alcohol- head to Provisions. The staff are LOVELY and knowledgable. The selection is unparalleled- especially given the overall size of the store. I can ALWAYS find something amazing that I’ve never tried before. Example being “Chinga Tu Pelo” which I picked up on a visit a few weeks ago.

I love specialty liquor stores! They always have nice things for you to take with you to a party: different alcohol, interesting snacks, craft beer. The service is impeccable & you get reward points! Skip the big box stores & come here for a specialty beverage!

Second time staff have politely implied for me to leave and do my shopping online after just a couple of minutes of walking in. Both times, I was the only one in the store, was masked, and sanitized my hands upon entry. On the list today was a few bottles of wine, a few charcuterie items, cards, and some little tchotchkes...sorry I actually might need to browse a little to make these selections. Thank you for saving me a couple hundred dollars today Provisions.

Provisions Uptown is a nice little wine-cheese-liquor shop in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. Its a great place to stop by when youre planning on gifting someone.This particular store was located right between Green Mill Jazz Club and the Uptown theatre -- both iconic landmarks of the Uptown neighborhood in Chicago.I came here with my girlfriend for gift ideas for her coworkers. And were so glad we stopped by.Going inside, we were greeted by a friendly staff who allowed us to take our time and werent too pushy on the matters. I was impressed by the selection of craft liquors that I have never seen anywhere else. The lady offering wine selections was quite knowledgable about her stuff and we even took home a bottle.Prices actually werent as bad as I was thinking they were going to be.Though I didnt get a liquor bottle for myself, I do plan on coming back in the future and exploring some of the cognac and scotch collection they have here.5/5.

I really live this place, everything is so well curated but you can still find good prices! The staff are always so wonderful and nice. Tonight I got to enjoy some rye whiskey from Virginia made by a woman. It was wonderful, so I bought a bottle! Thank you to those that make this make this place!

Really well themed local boutique shop; youve got wine, pasta and sauces in one area, candy and liqueur in another. Theres bartending equipment, great local selection of spirits and beer and a vibe that ties what might be considered eclectic into curated. Wine tastings on Tuesday and beer or spirits on Thursday. Lovely spot!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem after receiving a gift. I googled the item because I wanted to purchase another one which lead me to stop into the store. I was not expecting such a great selection of alcohol, cheese, locally made items, cards, and decor. The store is really great and Im glad I discovered it now!

Small town general store in the Heart of Uptown. This store couldnt be more appropriately named. Whatever you need for an evening or weekend is here. Local purveyors of small craft beers, wines, ciders, cheeses and liquors as well as a small selection of sweety and salty snacks makes this place a perfect picnic prep pop in. It is a bit on the spendy side, but thats to be expected when you have such a variety in limited quantity. Even if you just stop in for a sample youll enjoy the experience of seeing everything they have to offer. Youll probably leave with something your didnt know you needed but will absolutely enjoy the heck out of.

A good spot for a good bottle of, yes, bourbon, a good bottle of wine and even a nice cheese to accompany. It was an excellent use of the former home of Shake Rattle and Read.
