This place has fantastic selection and prices and a really great staff!

Always my favorite dive bar and that will never change. The beer challenge is worth several weekly visits, the ceiling tiles are always worth a view, the back patio always offers fun, and, if you cant find anything you want at the massive bar, their are beer fridges right behind you.Looking for a fun way to spend your evening? Go to Go and youll never want to leave.

They have a packaged goods license so you can stop here for a beer or two and bring home whatever you need.Fun place to hang out with a big outdoor patio in back.

Been coming here for years. Great neighborhood spot with an awesome patio and thoughtful selection on drafts. Super convenient that I can grab something to go on the way home and I always get snacks when Im there. Staff is dope they are really friendly-- one of the many reasons I always come here. Mike is rad too! Their new theme nights are always a good time.

The staff is always diligent and wonderful. They are always happy to flip one of the large TVs to your choice of programming. Cheap drinks, a wide selection and an ability to buy beer to bring home makes this place absolutely wonderful. Worth checking out.

Best local dive. Good beer + liquor selection, nice patio, great Puerto Rican restaurant next door. Go here when you dont want to deal with the yuppies at the scofflaw or best intentions (though I do go there too) and just want a cheap no nonsense drink or some carryout beer.

Formerly named Dorothys, this family-owned tavern and packaged goods liquor store has been in the neighborhood for decades. They have changed with the times and offer some of the widest beer, wine and spirit selections. The low prices at the well-run dive bar attract long-time residents and new arrivals alike which is rare in todays Logan Square.

We went for the Star Wars pop up and it was great. A few months later we went to Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, and it was actually not far off from looking just like that!

Great selection of hard to find craft beers on tap without the craft prices. The selection has something for everybody with seasonals available also. Great whisky selection with a friendly knowledgeable staff. Patio in back is a huge plus for summer nights.

Go Tavern is my favorite place to drink around Palmer Square. The location is a hybrid between a liquor store and a bar: you can buy a wide range of wines and beers (including many excellent small brews) at low or average prices, but the real strength of Go is its incredible cut-rate bar. Those same craft brews and fine liquors are available at shocking prices easily two to five dollars cheaper than anywhere else in the area. Theres nothing so fine as sipping on a pint of Allagash for under five dollars, or stretching a night out without feeling class conflict with every order. Great bar. Highly recommended.

A liquor store that has a bar you can pull up to and drink a beer at? Im not even a big drinker but this is such a cool concept I want to be counted in!After checking at Walgreens down the street for a simple bottle of liquor and seeing the absurd price, I walked down to Dorothys and paid 33% less for the same bottle - an instant win right there.Add to that a bar counter where I can walk in and take a load off and this place is a winner!

This place is an absolute gem from the art installments on ceiling tiles compliments of the patrons themselves, to the patently fabulous beer selection; further on to the best beer garden in Logan Square, if not almost anywhere in Chicago, you are truly missing out on the Logan Square experience if you dont include Go Tavern at least one once a month in your plans for debauchery.

Im lucky this is my neighborhood liquor store, they always have a solid selection for sale and good beer on draft if I have time to stop for a bit. Cashier service is always prompt and polite even when the bar is busy and when I asked if they would get a specific beer back in stock they said theyd see if they could still order it.

Super friendly staff who get to know you of youre a regular. Also great for picking something up to go late at night since theyre a combo bar and liquor store!

I cant speak to the bar portion but the liquor store component stocks a good selection of beer and a limited selection of liquors that covers the staples. There is no separation between the two components so the bar feels a lot like a store. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The best bar you can get any type of beer and alcohol!! From three floyds to pappy they have it all!! Bartenders are amazing Eva and Ida are very friendly and fast attentive!! But talk about Mike the owner of this place is a very down to earth friendly gentleman I recommend this place to everyone!! Every game is on the tvs and if not they can put it on TV for you!! A weird bar / liquor store, with a gloomy atmosphere. Its hard, if not impossible, to read the price tags of the spirits displayed far behind the counter. There are places in the neighborhood with better prices.

This is a great last stop for a night out - cheap beer, no frills, plenty of room if youre with a group.

You can take home a ceiling tile and paint it to donate art! just give a $5 deposit and they give it back once you finish the painting. I am excited to do this. Also, their bloody marys are unexpectedly pretty good. My friend and I came here since Ground Control was not open for the day yet, and we were not disappointed. Gotta love a bar that is also a liquor store and full of local art! p.s. our bartender was super chill too, handed us the remote control for the t.v. and we put on some old horror movies ;)
