Very nice folks running this place. I called and asked about some of their products and was recognized upon entering the store and helped very kindly. Had some pleasant conversation with the folks inside. The food was tasty, and the mate and gourd I purchased have been serving me well. I will be returning soon. Some of the selections can be a bit pricey, but they are authentic, so your money will not be poorly spent.

As someone who is originally from Argentina, I really appreciate this place, it makes me feel that home is not that far away!They have a good variety of products.

This is a small deli with a selection of hard to find Argentine specialities. Prices are better than Amazon. The owner is very nice.

Delicious empanadas. Very light and flaky dough, a change from how grandma used to make are home, but not at all on a bad way, just a different twist. Lots of specialty food items from Argentina not easily found elsewhere. Worth a drop in if your in the neighborhood.

All items are 200% marked up but everything is fresh. Only place to get argentine products. They also offer shipping nationwide. Very convenient. The owner is a little difficult to deal with but its worth it if you are looking for yerba mate, alfajores, morcilla, or any other Argentine groceries.

They have the best sandwiches de miga, and the alfajores are delicious!

Really expensive (like, really really expensive) Amazing Mate selection, with some really high quality products. Not much of a drinker, but Im sure the wines are good.Tip: they sell flags, but they arent on display, you have to ask about them.

Really great food and selection of Argentine staples. The wine is overpriced compared to what you can get elsewhere but other than that its tough to go wrong here. The empanadas are great as are the little ham sandwich things. Be warned though if youre a Spanish speaker - and especially if you are or are married to an Argentine - prepare yourself with some long conversations with the owner! Great dude.

One of the only places in the city to find some true Argentine foods and ingredients.

Small place, PAIN IN THE BUM to park around there at the wrong time of day, but they have at least a dozen different types of Yerba Mate Tea in stock at all time for a great price. If they cleaned up the front of the store a bit, got a sign that is easier to see when driving past, it would get a lot more business.

It has a great deal of Argentinean items even in the small place that they have. It is on the expensive side but they are the only ones providing it. If youre an Argentinean wanting to buy your Argentinean groceries from here, youre food budget will likely more than double. However, I definitely go there when I want a good tasting Argentinean prpoduct. The food that they make is okay, not great, but okay. The Argentinean restaurants do a better job of creating things that taste good for about the same price. But, as far as alfajores yerba mate, and wine you wont get as big a resource from one place in Chicago as this one. Definitely go check it out.

Empanadas are handcrafted by the owner and have a large selection of yerba mate and teas. My trip to this place was very educational on the part of the owner and all his wisdom in the products he sells. I tried the chicken and spinach empanada both were filling 🤤 crispy & came with a dipping sauce. He even gives an option to warm them up :)

Pregnant craving fulfilled. I dreamed of eating a choripan, and here I found theArgentine sausage. luckily we found this place with my husband, we tried the empanadas and alfajores. The only problem was that I only bought 2 empanadas and they are so delicious that they werent enough for me are Ill be back soon. I cant add photos because we devoured them in less than 5 min. TheChimichurri is 👌🏻 deli.

Ramón the heavy owner as a good Argentine, generous as a great Latino fan of his team but a gentleman attentive to his business. I will gladly return to eat your famous sandwich and drink some of those wines before they die.With this new organization that we can achieve via the networks, we can, among many with little, help to preserve certain traditions in Chicago, inherent to the cultures of Latin Americans.
