Pros.....1. Opens early2. Finally decided to carry the pastas salads and other salads like the bigger Walmart Location.3. Prices tend to be lower than other local grocery stores.4. Self Checkout makes things go faster. Employees are fairly friendly.5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️Cons......1. Shelves tend to be kind of empty in certain aisles2. The layout is small and feels confined.3. The parking lot is small and get kinda tight at times with the number of cars that use the parking lot.4. Prepare to do only self checkout, no cashier checkouts are used at this Market location.5. Small Market place that carries most but not all items, brands and merchandise like the bigger Walmart.6. The deserts they carry at Walmart are not my favorite.7. This is why I gave them three stars and minus two because of the six points above.

Customer service NEVER answers the phone. Daily Multiple attempts over a month to reach a live person at this store specifically between 7am-1pm is akin to a gutter Walmart experience 🤨👎👎👎👎👎. I had to go thru pharmacy to reach CS. When a female answered in CS she spoke in an unprofessional and clipped tone. I called other locations inquiring about this locations CS hours. Only to be informed; Oh, they have a reputation of not answering their phone at that location. Wow....They are too busy talking amongst themselves about their personal life vs picking up the ☎️ with a please hold or something!! The physical experience isnt much better. I stopped spending my $$ there.. Id rather go out of my way to Target, Trader Joes or Jewels!!To the reviewer who commented about trying to support black businesses, please be informed, Walmart IS NOT a black owned business. They own lots of black $$$... Many years ago, they were famous for providing an Excellent customer service experience. That ended LONG ago..

Tried to return a online items and I was told that this location does not accept online items if they cannot sale it. I asked her again are you sure that this location doesn’t accept online order and she stated walmart does sale these items and what are we gonna do with it.Never coming to location again very unprofessional

You literally have to look for workers to help you and that’s annoying even the one on 83rd no one is ever on the floor. While Walmart is trying to minimize jobs they need to hire more help. It’s irritating walking over the whole store looking for help. I’m literally standing here now looking for help in the middle of the dam floor

Living in a place where land isnt a premium, visiting this site was shocking. They offer the necessities and nothing more. There are no cashiers and a good number of items are under lock and key. The facility is nice just know that certain things are not offered here.

Walmart in my neighborhood pretty is a pretty good neighborhood groceries store and has a pretty good Pharmacy, and the new express lanes they opened up I like it and Ill always go there., Oh! and the mobile carts that is a great help to a lot of people that cant walk around a big box store like seniors, and people that cant get around that well.

I needed to buy a few things, (duh) but getting out of the car I dropped my mask on the ground. Not the end of the world but, I got turned around at the door because I didnt have a mask and the security at the door claimed there were no extra ones 😒 yeah ok whatever. If having a mask on is that big of an issue, why not have extra by the door instead of turning customers away? The self checkout is always long, and the employee attitudes towards customers on average are horrible. Dont go here unless you have no other options. On God I just went to jewels on 35th

Very nice location if need foodand household items. I love the fast check outsmostly self serve bur they get you in and out. Wish they had more items in stock that I shop for but overall nice location

I didnt know about the change of service. (No more cashiers). But the self checkout was for everyone is cool. And they have plenty of staff to help you through the process. The line moves much faster too. They have been a lot of terminals. Kudos Walmart.

I am never going back to Walmart until they return the cashiers. The self checkout is a hot mess. Senior citizens dont know how to operate the cash register. Its one long slow line. I had a manager ask me if I was the one holding up her line and I had to tell her I just spent over 100 dollars there and I rung it up myself as a once a long time ago cashier I know this is considered MY line. Who in the heck did she think she was talking to? Going forward if I need anything from Walmart Ill order it online if at all.

I come here alot. I also come to pay my rent. When I walked up the line was long and there was no one at the customer service desk. Everyone in line waited with patience but it was entirely too long. And when the person came they werent even trying to get the line down... Terrible service. Only in the hood..

This store is a disgrace to the community (all customers). There is a minimum of 10 customers in all open check out lanes (from cashier to back of the store/vegetables area). This is common AT THIS PARTICULAR store in the area. Mariano’s, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s are faster & more efficient and the customer service is better.I am here today to grab a few items. I stood in a line of 10 people finally two people ahead of me, someone dropped food & the manager yelled “this line is closed.” That’s it that’s all. Did nothing to accommodate myself nor anyone else, this is a total disrespect to me as an individual & as a customer spending money. I’m now standing in a totally new line in the back of the store.This store needs a better process & management training to handle the number of customers that frequent this location. This is the reason why I stopped shopping here, but I literally live one block away. From now on I’d rather drive 20 minutes to another location OR continue shopping at Mariano’s for all of my grocery needs.

I placed an order online. I called the store no one answered the phone. I sat in the pick up location for over 20 mins for them to tell me when I went in the pick ups are over at 8 p.m. I wasn’t able to get my order.

Very rude staff, and very messy & dirty. Store is crowded all the time with workers & they’re pallets on the floor. They never say excuse me, I could just go on & on about this place. It’s terrible, and should be closed down soon .

Nice that the store is in the neighborhood but due to the great prices and products Walmart has, the store is always packed, busy and has long lines. You have to be patient when you go there, and there is a parking lot, but its tight,usually full and sometimes folks dont park right. A lot ofparking on the street.Nice variety of items, and great prices, such as the plant based impossible burger product is easily 10 dollars in all other stores and $7.00 in Walmart . Thats a great buy! Lots of fruit and paper goods. You really just have to be patient with the long lines.

The lines are always long. The customer experience is one of the worst I have ever experienced. The staff has no concern for its customer and our often rude. Avoid if possible. Spend your money where you are treated with respect.

When this store first open it was the most wonderful place to shop they have fresh vegetable fresh meat excellent service but after a while the quality of food went down the quality of vegetables went down the communication between the staff and the customers went down but now since the remodeling it is wonderful to shop in this store again the customer service is better.

Employees are very helpful, however the isles are extremely crowded and very difficult for carts and wheelchairs to get through, due to shoppers and people who are shopping for customers. This can also be dangerous for people traveling through the isles to shop for their idems.

So when I first started shopping here It was not too friendly. But as I frequented the store I became familiar with many of the main employees. I feel like many of them know me by seeing me often. It took time for this to happen but it did. I think we should give each other a chance before we criticize. Learn to talk to each other. We should help each other out rather thenbe us and them. Thats when we can call where we live community.

Its alright the service wasnt that great at the time, short staffed for all the people that shop there. Need to be more considerate of their high volume customers. To much money being spend here and no commend curtousy for their customers. Thats just my opinion. Can do better by the customer and elderly.

Wife and I got out first Vaccine shot from Alberto. Great customer service of answering all questions, efficient is not having us wait, sanitizing the chairs and checking up on us to see how we are doing and feeling .

Walgreens have always been my love store I go there for quick items and the staff used to be go out of their way nice now I guess most stores that happened a lot of pressure not just Walgreens but I noticed them because theyre smaller stores but I guess some people expect them to cater to them all day long so when they want to cater to other customers they bring a little mean as with him because theyre tired and dont have enough help I will still give them my five stars because I know they want to please the customers and some customers just arent going to let that happen continue doing what you doing Walgreens I have no complaint with your store

The biggest thing is the convenience. I enjoy being able to walk up the street knowing my shopping needs will be met. I was devastated by what happened, but I glad theyre back. The store looks great.

The store is nice. But the manager named Shelia has a very nasty and disrespectful attitude. I shop there every other day. There was no reason I had to chase her down to get a question answered. Even after I got her attention she walked away from me while I was talking. I was nice and respectful the whole time.

Pharmacy employees were excellent. Nice market!

They need cashiers self check-out is all they have and people need assistance very often you will be there a while trying to check out

We went for Covid shots. The staff of this pharmsis spectacular.

Excellent selection of products for a small place, including local food and drink products. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and recognizes regulars. Could use a facelift on the inside but I think that adds to the charm.

This is the most dirty place Ive ever been garbage every were even plastic gloves for people to fall on I took some pictures but cant add them here but Ill see were I can n I will never go there again

Necessary for the neighborhood. Missing slot of your usual walmart items but decent for the basics of what you need. Definitely more of just a grocery store than your full Walmart accessories. Decently clean, and decently organized. Just limited in what you can get but other wise good.

This neighborhood Walmart is just as good as the bigger Walmarts. They sell mostly what a family would need on a day to day basis. They do not sell furniture, household items or clothing and is accessible by bus. Sometimes its frustrating standing in the extremely long lines with only two lanes open but other than that it is not that bad. The self checkout lanes are easy to use and they have people to assist when something goes wrong. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They are always pleasant and very helpful.

Stores will serve the community day and when you come in the door they have vegetables and stuff right up front and they I dont think they have a restroom in the store for public but the story is its clean and neat and it at the shelfs dont always look bare like some other Walmarts

They have a half decent selection of groceries, decent store to grab a few things and get in and out if you go early or later enough.

It was pretty good though its smaller than what youre use to in a Walmart store youre almost able to find the same as a regular Walmart.

Walmart on 47th & Cottage Grove is just what is needed in that part of the city for staples and consumables.The prices and selection is reasonable, with the exception of their Meat department, which is always overpriced, with limited variation.The staff are warm, friendly, knowledgeable and accountable.
