A hidden gem, fresh bakery every day with dozens of items to select from. Hot deli with a large selection. Homemade sauces, chips, etc.. Good staff, quick checkout.

I went yesterday to buy food for the house and one of my brothers got an orange juice with pineapple.... tell me why he told me it tasted weird but I didn’t believe him until I took a sip and spit it out the most disgusting drink ever it was expired 2 weeks ago....... I went back to the store to tell the owner and tell me why there was more in the fridge..... why are they selling expired drinks to people.....

This Place is Absolutely Buzzing with People and Noise and food. We went there on our last day in the USA. We went to eat BBQ. Not disappointed. its out side the market so easier to sit. and the food was sensational. Inside there is all kinds of food. very Interesting place and loved coming here

The produce is really well everything nice and neat but the chicken does not have any flavor also the salad that you guys prepared is not well seasoning.

This place lost its touch... especially the bakery cashiers. Yesterday I went to shop for bread and some other groceries. I paid with a debit card that I had reported damaged and forgot it was blocked. Obviously it got declined and the cashier laughed at me and made a dumb comment to her friend (another cashier) I guess she thought I didnt know Spanish but I understood her. I felt mad and embarrassed on how they reacted towards me. I wont be shopping here anymore.

I came with my mom and the lady at cashier didnt decide on how to solve her problem with the computer and we had to wait a long time.

My favorite local grocery store. Their fresh made tortillas are amazing. I sometimes buy some for my family in Cícero and friends in the suburbs.

I bought 6 lbs of steak asked the butcher to please put my steak through the tenderizing machine and he said no! They do it for me at centro the store right across from them. Ill take my business there were customer service is a priority.

The reason why I’m putting this rating is because the cashier from bakery department was soo rude she was charging me $2.50 for a plastic container for a piece of bread when during the weekend she was charging me .50 so she’s going to tell me the container is going to charge me more than the bread.. This manager or owner needs to hire people with Good customer service skills and not just random people who don’t even know how to respond to a customer..

Some blond girl with glasses and a cara de chancla vieja at the cash register in the mornings always has a serious attitude problem. Shes always treating people like trash.

Good service and good staff. The food is always good and its quality so its worth the money your spending. If you want cheap expect low quality products at other stores. Never had to wait in line too long to check out. I shop here because everything including the meat is so much fresh compared to other grocery stores around the area. Def. Recommended.

BEST HOT FOOD!!! Seriously best carnitas in the city. They make the fresh all day! While I was waiting (the wait is a little long.. but totally worth it) I saw them bring out new trays of food on rotation! My mom snagged some fresh off the pot corn tamales. They even have hot tortillas ready to go. Great option for when your family cant decide what to eat.

Bunch of uneducated, rude front staff. All the lady cashiers are disrespectful, and they over charge you all the time. When you correct them, they give you a bad attitude in response. They say it is not their fault items don’t ring up as advertised, well it most definitely not my fault either. But I do expect the advertised prices to be honored and not get a sassy response back. This grocery store isn’t even that great, I don’t need to put up with women that feel like they are doing me a favor to ring up my groceries.

Most of the time products are good. You do need to pay attention to when they have specials because if you dont you will probably get overcharge. Cashiers dont even care about the customers. Today I was there around 12 pm and there were 2 cashiers and instead of paying attention to customers they were gossiping about how the owner sons used to flirt with them and how one of them is attending a university and has a condo that his father( the owner )paid for while I was in the middle of both trying to see I got charged correctly.Is crazy they have no clue to what giving good customer service is. On weekends they have real good hot ready to eat food. Good food bad srevice.

I went to get some bread (tortas) to make some homemade sandwiches, to my surprise once I sliced the bread I found mice droppings into the dough.... I called sanitation right away and didnt go back to that store.

If I can give negative stars I would. Horrible front staff, they are always rude and are always giving attitude. Pay attention to what they are charging because they always over charge. Tonys is not that far from this place. If possible, avoid this store!!!Those that give high stars were probably paid to post good reviews or work there.

Great authentic Mexican food they also have a salsa section from mild to extra hott!. Basically all you can eat hot salsa bar they provide corn tortilla chips. Also carniras and cook food so you can take home a platter.

I use to love coming here, but I had forgotten why I stopped shopping here. Rude cashiers, Not my fault you have to work but the least they could do is say Hello or even SMILE. As a former cashier I know how it is sometimes with customers but I am always smiling.

I went to this store today and we got some Japanese peanuts then when we where looking at the expired date from June 6 and we bought it June 21 is a 15 day expired or 2 weeks be careful to purchase and check for the things that you purchased if expired

I thought it was just me that thought the employees are rude, from the people stacking, butchers and specially the cashiers! The prices are as about or higher than cermak, I just went there because I heard the chorizo is good? Pfft last time, that’s why I shop at cermak from diversey and Pulaski it’s way cleaner and the employees are nice and welcoming.

Bad customer service. Purchased hot food that smelled spoiled went to return and instead of getting a sincere apology or even an exchange I received a rude manager who gave me an attitude like if I were crazy and didnt know the difference between spoiled food and good food. They can keep the $9.00 they need it more than i do. They should get some lessons on how to treat customers because they are the ones that keep businesses opened. From weekly shopping to never coming again to this place.

I had a negative experience with the same cashier twice. When I was checking out she deliberately grabbed my items and threw them as if I wasnt paying for them and with a reckless attitude. I was just expecting to be treated friendly or at least with some respect, but this cashier left a bad impression on me. She didnt apologize, and my items werent good for consumption anymore after she roughly threw them. Its just common courtesy.

Great fresh salsa selection and good counter for made to order chicken check it out also parking lot so no street parking for groceries.Of course the seven cents bag thing applies here as this is an Chicago store.They accept link,credit and debit.Unsure of personal checks.
