My husband and I catered from Montrose Deli for our Chicago wedding in August. THEY WERE FANTASTIC! The food was phenomenal - we received so many compliments from our guests. The servers were incredibly professional, efficient, and polite throughout the entire evening. Anna was very helpful and kind during the planning process and made sure we had everything we wanted for the big day. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to serve Polish food at their event!

Excellent. This store is bright and super clean.They have a huge selection of fresh homemade soup. Its delicious and very cheap. Seriously, its as good as my Polish grandma made.Try their pasta salads. We tried three different ones and each was restaurant quality. Clean, simple and perfect texture for a great price.

Montrose Deli Catering did an amazing job catering my wedding during coronavirus on Sept 2020 at Loft Lucia, Chicago. I had been planning this event for over 12 months and met with Ms. Anna to go over the menu, set up details, and more. She was extremely knowledgable and helpful in making my wedding a smooth event. Additionally, she was responsive special asks I had for my wedding menu (for example, the Chef created a custom arugula salad based on our preferences).When the wedding finally took place, Ms. Anna & her catering crew did a fantastic job setting up the tablescape (plates, silverware, glassware), buffet set-up, as well as creating a beautiful charcuterie table. Her staff also took all necessary precautions needed during the pandemic (masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, making sure guest didnt touch serving utensils, etc.)The set up of everything was beautiful, the food was delicious, and I could not be happy with how everything came out!! Thank you for everything!

Pani Ania @ Montrose Deli was amazing as so was the Polish Meat Hut chatka along with the sweets table. Everything was professionally organized, on time, neat, and most importantly, tasted DELICIOUS. Polish supermarket with great selection of kielbasa, pierogi and many other polish products. Must have daily prepared dishes for lunches and diners - very reasonable priced and very tasty..yum!

Very nice market I really love that they have everything and lot of fresh stuff, the location is very convenient for me as I work right in the corner. And it makes it easy for me to just pass by and pick whatever I need. Recommend Montrose Deli to anyone!

So the store itself is great, big and a lot of groceries. Variety is huge. The prices are a little high. Employees on deli are terrible, looks tired and rude. Cashiers are usually very nice. I go there from time to time.

I want to give a 1000 stars for Ania from Catering she’s the best in what she does. The food is fantastic, never have I had a bad thing from there, it is the best food in the world. Huge selection of cakes especially on Friday/Saturday. Also huge selection of deli items and cheese. A lot of good products. But you have to watch those sneaky old ladies behind the deli counter. They like to give you old stuff and you have to look and see if the price matches with what they give you. Like I was buying ham for 3.99lb and she gave me the ham with tag for 5.99lb. And this didnt only happen once You just gotta keep your eye on that.

Bought Beef meat today on March 11.On sticker it says:Packed on March 10.And it should Sell By March 14!!!All meat is not fresh and colour is brown...They put all red pieces on top to cover all meat that have become brown and not fresh.Totally disepointed on this food market.

And trust me, traditionally made Polish sausage beats out any pre-packaged large manufacturing made products.

Great food and such a beautiful presentation. Every single dish was intricately decorated!!! We placed a catering order for a very busy time of the year, our daughters First Communion, but they did a superb job!!! First off, p. Ania is amazing. She was very accommodating and assisted me with great food selection. The food was delicious and there was an abundance of it, too. Everybody was happy going home with some of their favorites. I will definitely order from Montrose Deli again!!!

I love getting hot deli Polish food here!! So cheap only 3.99 for meat rice/baked/mashed potato and two sides of whatever youd like. Always come here if I miss my moms cooking. The price, the quality and quantity you get is phenomenal!.

WATCH OUT FOR THEIR ICE CREAM. TODAY I BOUGHT SOME AND AFTER TEARING THE PAPER THEY WERE IN TWO FREAKING DIFFERENT CONSISTENCIES. FREEZED AND UNFREEZED AT LEAST FEW TIMES. LOOK AT THE GAP BETWEEN ICE CREAM AND THE CUP.

I bought this today and when I got home and opened it it was stinking like something died. No expiration date anywhere on a bag. Horrible horrible horrible . And this costs $5.99!! Does anybody check expiration date on these ever ??

It is not located on Montrose. Laziest cart pushers ever. Otherwise the lady what is at customer service provided best customer service I ever experienced.

First and last time bought dinner. Most disgusting food ever. Tomato soup was like water probably with some tomato soup aroma. Does not tase at all. At least day old potatos. Staffed Cabbage smells like fish or dirty socks. Greasy.

It was Ok. This is my 2nd time there. The front of the store is tuned to the back and there is no entrance on Irving Park. I hate that. It would be more convenient had they not built the store backward with the back of the store just at the Irving Park bus stop and sidewalk.

This location on Irving may be a bigger store, but the Montrose Ave. location has a better selection of polish rye bread and a friendlier family atmosphere.

Montrose Food Mart & Deli provided catering service for a wedding I attended on August 10, 2019. The food was amazing, I would definitely recommend this place!

Everything is great Except the ambience and the store I think they should really renovate it and loves the same as it did 10 years ago when it was Wally’s market. They renovation is badly needed to modernize the store.

Thank you so so much to Montrose deli for our dessert tables for our bridal shower and wedding, and for our chatka/food hut at our wedding. Everything was beautiful and delicious. I am amazed at how perfect everything looked and tasted. The food was a hit with our Polish, Ukrainian, American and Hispanic guests. (We also used them for catering for the day after party/poprawiny and the food was delicious!) Pani Ania was absolutely amazing to work with. She really took the time to listen to what we needed and wanted and made sure everything was great. All of the workers at the actual store and those who came to the locations were very sweet and helpful. We very highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future! Thank you again for everything!

Always good product and fresh food to go

It’s ok, deli and hot food are decent, but they need to stop buying that Anthony Marano reject produce, almost bought cherry tomatoes with mold until I took a closer look, really need to tighten up their produce section. There is a lot of room for improvement over there.
