I called to schedule a estimate appt and they literally answered the phone with “WHAT” and when mentioning tomorrow as an option was told NO! I hung up!

Worst experience. Owner did not show up on 2 occcasions and would not return my calls. Spoke badly of the neighborhood where my store is located.

I manage a nearby small business and needed a cracked storefront window replaced in a tenant unit. Got three estimates and Chatham won the bid at $538. The other two places quoted me $787 and $1500. The job was done when and as promised. They made it easy for me and no complaints from our tenant. Looks great! I will use them again if the need arises.update 09/04/2020: Weve used them a total of three times now. They come through on time, with great work, for the exact prices theyve quoted me. They do business the right way every time!

I brought a piece of glass to this guy to replicate (for a vintage cassette deck), and he said he was willing to give it a shot. The shop had done some good work for me previously on a medicine cabinet shelf job, so I drove the 45 minutes down Pulaski it took me to get there. I thought it was cool of him to take on the job. Unfortunately, since the place was so far out of my way, I kind of forgot about it, but I also never heard anything. I finally followed up, granted over a year later, but only to find out the shop had lost my part! I needed some other glass pieces cut, so I asked him if he would give me a discount on that job since he had lost my part. He would only go down like $20. I think he wanted $200 for two pieces of quarter-inch glass 40 x 47 (down from 220). I wanted to get him to $175, but he wouldnt do it, complaining that I was trying to be a wise guy and skin the cat as he repeated over and over while fumbling around the shop like my part was just about to turn up. With neither of us willing to budge, I decided not to give him any more of my money and actually found the same glass right up the street from me for $140! Chatham is evidently way overpriced and was absolutely unwilling to accept responsibility for losing my part. He said to give him a couple days to track down the part, but he never got back to me. The glass was for a rare piece that wont be easy or cheap to replace. Not a pleasant experience.*Note, the guy did ultimately find my part and reach out months later. Things get lost. I get it. However, I hope maybe hes revisited his pricing.

I give this place four stars.I needed a piece of glass for a Pier 1 kitchen table that goes against the wall. It had a wood top that was not durable enough for a sweating water bottle or scratchy keys. It measured approximately 35 x 11 with some eights of inches thrown in for tediousness. The man on the phone quoted me a price and told me the options. I went with the clear glass, plain edge, and it was around $41 with tax. The price was fine with me considering we were doing damage to our table in the meantime. I went in the place the order; pretty easy. They said itd be ready in two days.Minus one star for:---1) I came back in 2 days when they opened and it wasnt ready. I guess they didnt expect me to come that early (around 830AM), but you have to tell customers that it wont be ready until after a certain time, such as Friday, after 12 noon. So I had to wait 15-20 mins for them to make it on the spot.---2) Street parking, ugh.---3) Dont bring small kids here or anyone accident prone. There was was chunk of broken mirror on the ground from a nearby broken glass pedestal. I picked it up and put it safely on top of the pedestal. Mistakes like that shouldnt be made.---4) Non-air conditioned (or so it seemed) waiting area. Also, the waiting area needs a serious update. There was a bay of seats from a van. Really? :)Other than those points, it was fantastic. Helpful people work there. SUPER accurate sizing and measuring. It fits the table like a glove. Thank you!!

I WOULD GIVE IT NO STARTS IF POSSIBLE WENT IN WANTING A GLASS FOR MY DINING TABLE AS THE ONE I HAD BROKE THE MAN WHO WAS THERE SAW ME AND MY MOTHER STANDING THERE FOR 10 MINUTES LOOKED ME STRAIGHT IN MY FACE A AND KEPT WALKING I ASSUMED HE WASNT THE PERSON AT THE FRONT DESK I THEN CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE CARD HOPING TO SEE SOMEONE ANSWER TELEPHONE AND IT WAS HIM I THEN EXPLAINED TO HIM THE SITUATION AND HE WAS VERY RUDE ALSO SAID THEY DONT DO ESTIMATES FOR FREE EVEN THOUGH ON THERE WEBSITE IT STATES THEY DO ALSO WAS ANNOYED THAT I WAS RELAYING TH INFORMATION TO MY MOTHER IN SPANISH ASKING IF SHE DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH I LEFT AND WILL NOT BE GIVING THEM MY BUSINESS OR RECOMMENDING THEM HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
