Customer service 👎👎 except for furniture man. He was polite, patient & very helpful & knowledgeable! All the rest of the employees were RUDE &/or didnt acknowledge you or help you out, they acted as if they were bothered that you were in there shopping

Love this store. Especially around the joyous holidays from the Fourth of July to Christmas and everything in between.

Good low budget shopping store.They carry a multitude of items, all the way from food to living room furniture. Its usually always pretty neat and tidy too. Although the staff tries to provide great quality customer service, in which most do, youll always have that one person who ruins it for the rest. On my last particular visit there was an employee standing out in front of the entrance smoking a cigarette, using extremely vulgar language and expressing it with her body gestures. As she threw her cigarette butt into the sidewalk she stormed in the store and continued her rant, with customers present. Judging by the conversation, which everyone was able to hear, it was definitely baby momma drama. Leave that stuff and home and dont bring it into the workplace.

I just moved so went to get some useful stuff for the new place, on the cheap. Selection is poor, staff is awesome, if you look around you can get some cool deals, which is kinda my hobby. All in all I think Id prefer a place with higher prices but better selection. Cheers.

Manager is super unprofessional and rude, i purchased an item & thAn an hour later she canceled it but still charged me! And told me I had to wait to get my money back.

No one follows social distancing. Employees do not enforce it. Crazy busy today people not wearing masks properly and employees not saying anything about it. Chicago is one of the cities with the highest covid 19 cases. Get it together big lots. Help your customers do the right thing by enforcing these rules.

Cant go wrong little bit of everything decent prices

I came into this location looking to buy a bed frame and some other items but was forced to go to Walmart next door due to neglect and poor customer service. I stood by the receiving door after the floor associate paged for anyone to furniture and observed multiple people joking and laughing meanwhile a customers waits for 30 minutes for what was 5 minutes at your competitor ridiculous. I will not be visiting location again the stores out in the suburbs give way better service to customers

Havent been to a Big Lots in forever because of location change. Happy to have been at Hall Plaza today to shop there. I used to love shopping at Big Lots and its still amazing. Easy to navigate the aisles, clean and neat. Fun place to shop. Also, my cashier, Marcus was -WOW - definitely a people person. Just an awesome person. For sure will go back again and recommend to my coworkers and customers!!

Great place! Especially the cashiers. Most male cashiers are usually jerks. Especially when they see me, they must get intimidated, or envious due to my amazing looks and physique. However, this place wasnt like that. They were very respectful. And just did their jobs. Especially a young male cashier who signed me up for the rewards card. Great kid great place to shop.

The price here are amazing, however the store is a messy. Limited items on the shelves, and a lot of disarray. Other locations are much cleaner.

Big Lots has a lot of beautiful pieces at very reasonable prices. We bought a mirror and entertainment center from them and were very happy with our purchases! I highly recommend checking them out!

Big Lots the store is awesome. Really good quality for the very economic price point. My husband and I bought a table set from this location 5/28/19. I asked the very pleasent furniture department manager to unbox it and that I would pick it up the next day. I returned the next day and they had another gentlemen help me get it in my car. When I moved into my new home May 30, my husband found that the chairs and bench did not have legs. So I reached out to them and have been given the run around. Apparently it was going to take some time for them to get another set where they could give me the legs and then even though they kept saying they would update me and deliver the legs they never did. I just called again today about them and this manger Dale I think is his name asked me for my address so the legs could be delivered. Ive given my address and phone number multiple times to another manager and the furniture manager, but I gave it to him again. I hope we get the legs today. Its ROUGH AS HELL Feeding toddlers with ZERO CHAIRS!

Cool medium sized store with a wide variety of daily use home items - think cookware, packaged food, furniture, office supplies, cleaning supplies, pet items, flatware, and more.Really good prices as well.They do have a public bathroom.

Big Lots has everything from batteries to recliners to mattresses and bed frames. It is one of the places that I love to shop at.

Some of their cashiers are the sweetest, and when you talk with them its like youve known them for years, SOME OF THEM, Lol, There is a woman that works at this store by the name of Jo, very nice and helpful..The prices here are affordable, most of the time I shopped here, the store was kept very clean, but sometimes they have their days, where it can get messy cause of the customers, I am a regular customer, the things i see most is parents letting their kids run buck wild in the store, thats the only thing that disturbs my shopping experience here...Other than that, great place to shop.

At Big Lots, theres no telling what big savings the lot is going to hold ...but as usual, it does not disappoint! Coffee k cups @ .032 each and bagged cereal @ pennies per serving. Glad I stopped in.

Prices are awesome n I can find just about everything here.. Groceries, kitchen applianes, kitchenware, bathroom accessories, bedding, kitchen accessories, flooring, furniture, toiletries, housewares, pxs, school supplies, Housing decorations, lawn n garden if Ive missed a dept or an item sorry just soo much @great prices thats why its called Big Lots soo soo pleased with them.

Customer service was good. However, I bought an item and didnt know it was expired until I got home. Be sure to review the expiration date when buying edible items.

Got a couple of bags of Arrowroot Flour. Not always easy to find. Its really good quality and the healthiest way to thicken a gravy.

Huge place with lots of parking. Staff is nice but I think this place needs more employees or at least someone to organize the store. Its a huge place but they dont know how to utilize the space.

Hard to tell what the prices were. They were not marked or had signs. Use to go there alot, they had good deals.
