This store is amazing! Never have I seen a more expansive collection of games for sale, games available for demo and a more diverse clientele and staff. I can tell that those who run this store care about their customers -- I was approached multiple times by friendly staff members to make sure I didnt have any questions. This place is absolutely phenomenal. They have wall to wall board games and tables in another room to play games on. Great atmosphere.This is a great spot for anybody into cards or board games etc.Went into the store for my 1st time yesterday and could not have been more thrilled I live near a place like this.

I never write reviews, but this place deserves all of the praise! Everyone who works there is so friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help you with anything you may need! Ive bought countless board games here for myself and as gifts and each experience has been wonderful. Their online ordering is super easy and pick-up is a breeze. I went in to buy D&D minis for my cousin once having never played myself, and employees and other customers alike were quick to make suggestions and assist me in picking some for him (they were a huge hit)! Cannot say enough great things about the space and the community it fosters!

Dice Dojo is a great game store. I attend regular Friday night Magic drafts, and its always a good time. Theyre well organized as a store and kind and inclusive as individuals. Great place to go visit, hang out and play some games. Whether your into Majic, Warhammer, or any number of other games this place has you covered. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is huge for whatever your into.

The staff was SO helpful and sweet--they knew good options for every interest, price range, game type, you name it! And that free play room! Bet.If they were gonna replace Kate the Greats with anything, this is a pretty good pick.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff is super fun and helpful, the game selection is fantastic, and they have games you can try for free to get a feel for them before buying anything! If you want something new, just go with some friends, and ask someone who works there for a recommendation. Try it out. Every time I have done this, about half the people who go with me end up buying some new game they enjoyed playing!

Dice Dojo. What can be said about the Dice Dojo? This specialty shop is amazing! First of all, are you looking for board games? Collectible card games? Tabletop RPGs? This place will either have it or know how to get it! Miniatures? Dice? Game mats? Im serious, theyve got it all. Wanna look at a board game and see how involved it is? Cool, theyve got a wall of games already open and ready to look at. Wanna come by and play some games? Theyve got a whole side of the store ready with empty tables just for that purpose! The staff is awesome and talkative, supportive and friendly. What else can I say? Everytime I go in I end up buying something. Maybe that says more about me than Dice Dojo, but I dont care. If your passion is gaming IRL, then you should definitely check out Dice Dojo!

This place is insane, not only do they have a wide selection of tabletop games and tcg but they also buy magic cards at extremely reasonable prices. I brought in 3 Bayou cards and wound up getting way more than I expected. Definitely going to frequent that store more.

I liked the place and its a friendly shop but their selection isnt as good as games plus out in Mt. Prospect or Grognard games further west where I used to stay. I really miss those places but I cant get out there anymore because no car

Ive been coming to this shop for years, and they the staff always knock it out of the park. They keep a great selection of paints and hobby supplies and are very quick to reply with requests/special orders.I make it a point to buy from them, before ordering online. Got to support brick and mortar stores, cause without them, wed loose so much that makes the gaming hobby great!

This review is long overdo, but better late than never I suppose. A few months ago I contacted this store about an Unlimited Ancestral Recall I learned they had for sale. I live 6 hours away from this store, so I was unable to view the card in person before deciding whether or not to go ahead and make the purchase. The staff sent me pictures and videos of the card, and was always quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this store, and would definitely use them again for high dollar purchases.

Such an awesome place. I have been going here for a while for D&D stuff and their selection is awesome. My son is just getting into Pokemon and so he now joins me on my trips. They are always to helpful and friendly with him and his 50 questions. Highly recommend them for pre-ordering Pokemon card releases.

I was just there again to buy a DnD card game, Dungeon Mayhem. I really need to ask for names but there is a worker there who has the best taste in table top games and you can clearly tell she knows what she is talking about and have played the games Ive asked about. Ive only been there three times but I have never left unsatisfied. While I do note that specific worker I did over hear other workers being very friendly and I feel very comfortable asking questions. While I live out in oak lawn I will definitely drive out to Dice Dojo for my table top gaming needs.Edit: Called to ask for the name of the worker, her name is Vicky. I recommend talking to her! :D

Great store with a huge selection and very reasonable prices, AND super knowledgeable staff. I cracked a few MtG packs when I got home from my visit and got a Vorinclex and a Phyrexian printed Vorinclex!!?1! This wasnt the first shop I visited when I first got back into Magic, but this is definitely somewhere Im gonna keep coming back to. Even if the shopping experience hadnt been fantastic (it was!), you cant sneeze at 4 Mythic Rares out of 10 packs.

This place is freaking awesome. Was in town to hang out with college buds and went here for a day. Games you didnt even know existed were here, and me and my friends are giant game nerds. There were other helpful nerds there to teach games too! I didnt even ask if they were on the staff or not, but it didnt matter. The overall culmination of the experience was super awesome wonderful. If I lived in Chi-town, I would spend a lot of time here.

I was kinda speechless when I stepped into this place. It is very overwhelming though. I really wish they have some kinda organization system for their collection. Its hard for neat freak to deal with. However, if you want to play any board game at all with friends but didnt have a place or have the game?! This is the place to be! I think it is BYOB too?! And... it didnt smell like the typical gaming basements 😂!! Oh yeah, the store is impressive too! I feel like they have anything everything you might ever want!

Outstanding game shop with plenty of new board game titles, indie gemstones, and shelves of expansions, as well as ample wargaming, hobby painting, card sleeving, and rpg supplies. The staff are helpful and passionate about games and give great recommendations whenever I stop by. Before the pandemic, they offered weekly open board game nights, Magic tournaments, Adventurers League, and a basement full of wargame tables and shelves of terrain (free for anyone to use), and I look forward to attending these events once again. A true Friendly Local Game Shop in every sense of the word, not just providing the product but fostering the community. Please stop ordering your games from Amazon and support businesses like this.

Twas the greatest! I bought a die and tried to put it in the dice container by the door. Ended up having to get a stepstool and drop it in instead of tossing it. The staff are so nice and they have good demo games.

Most amazing place. Theyll let you sit down and play 100s of games for free. Set up a time and bring your whole board gaming crew. Careful though. They have regularly scheduled things like Magic and War hammer night and the place will be PACKED.

This place is mind blowing. The selection of table top games and other nerdy related stuff (Magic cards, model stuff, etc. etc.) is astonishing. Im very far from an expert on these things but this is definitely my goto spot for anything related to games. Their employees know what they are talking about and they can pretty much get you anything you could possibly want (also stuff you didnt even know you wanted until they told you about it). This place is beyond amazing! 10 stars. My wife and I were in town looking at moving to the area and had some time to kill. We popped in here and found they have a whole room where you can pull down any of the 1000+ board games and play them right there. Ive been in Chicago for a while and this is easily one of the coolest places that Ive happened across.

I have never had anything but great experiences. Theyre well stocked with a wide variety of products and the staff is always happy to help find things and give advice. I regularly drive out from the city just to get gaming supplies from them.

Went here to play D&D my first time. Felt pretty comfortable and got some great advice when asking staff questions about their merchandise.They have a fantastic selection of miniatures and offer open items and used minis too. I definitely recommend this place.

They tried to overcharge me and my friend for the minis and dices we were buying. Twice I had to correct the prices (their own prices) while we were paying.After we left I realized they gave us no receipt and, funny story, that they actually managed to overcharge us on some items.Definitely wouldnt go again
