Nice Indie style coffee shop on Broadway. They had a a variety of drinks. Came on a rainy day and wanted to try something hot. The barista was super friendly when I inquired about their London Fog. Had it made with skim milk and it was amazing. Definitely will try their other drinks in the future. They also have your typical coffee shop pastries. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Nice lighting as well. Parking can be difficult with some meters available, but there is free street parking on the sides.

Since moving into this neighborhood during quarantine, we found our new coffee place! Chicago Grind is fantastic. We always grab Egg Grinders as well— their breakfast sandwiches are great quality and well-priced. Make sure you tip extra for the baristas! They are doing fantastic work during this time.If you’re looking for beans for coffee brewing at home, we love the Left Handed Monkey Wrench and the Tube Screamer blends.Pick-up is very easy online or over the phone :) friendly customer service as always.

Cozy coffeehouse. I liked it. Ordered two sandwiches - Turkey Pesto Panini and Turkey Fiesta Panini. Both were prepared really well and filling - felt like it was made for family. Hot chocolate was good as well. I will try the spicy hot chocolate the next time I’m there. If you are on Broadway - this is a good place for a quick cuppa. Staff is friendly and will accept any special requests you have.

Great staff, food, and atmosphere. There is a nice selection of breakfast, flatbread, sandwiches, and paninis to choose from. I had the B&B Breakfast Burrito. It was delicious and filling as well as the brownie I ate later. I will definitely return to try some other items on the menu. By the way, this is also a good place to conduct meetings. They also offer free wifi.

I stopped in about an hour before they closed for a cup of coffee and was a little disappointed at the fact that they only had one type of roast available and werent willing to brew me a lighter roast of coffee. I went ahead with the dark roast that had probably been sitting around all day and found it wasnt actually that bad with cream and stevia. The dining area is actually very cozy, modern, and clean. I also liked how they have a number of choices in terms of how you would like to sweeten your coffee. I just wish they would offer different blends throughout the entire day or at least be willing to brew a lighter roast with a pour over or French press. I would recommend it and would stop by again tho.

Theres not much to dislike about the neighbor cafe. Great spot to read, get work done, or to just catch-up with friends.Likes:1. prices (large coldbrew for less than $5? cant beat it)2. coffee & pastries3. vibe4. polite, cheerful staff5. obvious COVID protocols (cleaning, strict about mask wear beyond the table, etc) without being overbearingWell things that could improve, but things I cant really hold against them. Not quite dislikes:1. Itd be great if they expanded their hours slightly, to maybe 4PM or so.2. Fill out the empty bookshelves w/ books or plants? Its interior isnt as trendy as some other cafes, but it could get pretty damn close without too much work or $ spent.

I like this place, think the new ownership is fine. The pastries are actually better. But, and I may be alone in this, I like to drink coffee out of glass mugs or cups when Im staying in the coffee shop. Thats why I dontever sit in Starbucks. Most of the coffee shops I go to do serve in glass, as they did at this one before.

So my advice to you is to never go on a Saturday evening around 8:00pm. As soon as you order your coffee some sort of bell goes off in the baristas heads and they raise the Hip Hop music, start loudly putting chairs on tables, shaking out floor mats right near you and not so subtlety letting you know that its time to go. Which certainly would not be a problem if you had asked one of the aforementioned baristas what time they closed and they had answered 8:00pm. In this particular case however, the answer was 9:00pm. FYI, I gave it one star because the cup of coffee was good. However, I never got to finish the refill that I paid for because I hit the bricks at 8:15pm. And its even cooler now that I think about it because my next cup of coffee is supposed to be free. Fat chance.

I loved this place with the old staff and owner, but things have really gone downhill since the ownership changed. I went in today to get my usual breakfast order, and when I walked in, no one was at the register. I waited about 5 minutes before someone came out to take my order. I asked for my chocolate croissant to be heated up, and the chocolate was still cold when I bit into it. My iced mocha was more just like an iced latte, as the chocolate wasn’t mixed in. Really disappointed.

This place is very inconsistent. I noticed other reviewers mentioning new management and maybe thats whats going on. In the course of a month Ive had a perfect frozen grinder, a frozen grinder where the ice wasnt blended at all, and a frozen grinder with no ice in it at all (did they forget the ice?) I dont think I can go back to this place after that many mistakes. Also the person who helped me seemed impatient. Not rude exactly, but dismissive enough to make me want to leave before even placing my order.

Booooo! Not only when I asked for a cup...the heavy set cashier told me that they dont use mugs when I know they do. I said ok. Sat down and 20 mins later I see her give other customers mugs. Why would she lie. Or as a customer why not just give me a mug? I think its because Im not white? I dont know. Hate to play race card. If its not that then this place is definitely close minded.
