Lacey is a one-woman show! She is great with customers and so quick at making drinks, but I wish she had more help! Other than that, the service is great.
Sorry my daughter did not get the order while I and wife did already. Yea we are back up. Yes so I want to know if are working or missed. We will meet it. Yes I get it and we are human we miss some times. How do you know if you missed? We will make it.Guess McDonalds does better by having order number.
This place is awesome!!! The employees are so nice and genuinely ask you about you!! Always going to come here
I stopped in this store and Antoinette was extremely nice to me and my friend. She was patient and I truly appreciated it!! Thanks to her, she’s a real asset to Starbucks and that team. Thank you!!
A nice, spacey coffee & snacks place. Good coffee (too much choice, confusing labels). Very friendly staff.But:1) inefficiency rules. Lots of staff doing lots of manual tasks. Pre-industrial age way of working. Really amazing to watch. A common explanation relates to the experience. I dont get that. I appreciate speed and low prices - dont go to Starbucks for that.2) waste is rampant. In spite of its corporate branding, this company is downright wasteful. I always get two cups, and a lid. I want neither. But it is standard practice. Pure waste. Staff does not really understand it either but feels they should follow procedure. The coffee is good though. This place is nice. Their image is a bit fake.
My pregnant wife needed some tissues but the rude staff with the silly gray hat shouted at her and got angry because of some silly tissues. I strongly recommend not to come here anytime.
Good Starbucks. Very cozy for rainy day
Love me some good coffee, the boys tea were made really good, my latte no so much.
Really good wait times for always being busy
Idk what happened. But these people had this poor little white man working by himself, running back and forth between the register and making the orders. He was so nice about it too. He kept apologizing to all of us. So Id like to commend that man for his professionalism and his hard work. I dont know his name. But he was kinda short, skinny and white, he worked on Jan 6 and got off at 3:30. So good job dude.
Great place to go very knowledgeable of all their products and always very friendly. Only thing is I hate when a homeless person is in front asking for change everyday all day.
Eating in line to get my food and drink and they had my name wrong and when I told them it was mine she said it was for Melissa. Then they forgot to put a drink on my order and had to wait 20 more min for the drink. Next time just go to a regular Starbucks.. horrible
I received good service and my Frappuccino was tasty
Stopped by in the evening, for a quick cup of coffee. They were polite, and the coffee was delicious.FYI... In these days of Covid-19, there was extremely limited seating inside.
Your staff is not friendly. They are in a bad mood and not interested in working
Same as last review on Starbucks....No 1st everrrrrrrrrr
The drinks are always good of course, but the baristas are what make the experience truly a good one. The one serving me was a fine example of that. She was very patient and friendly. All smiles! Anyone working a register should follow that example. Smile and patience! This is a good one to go to. Bathroom available too if youre downtown.
Great customer service!
Amazing
Great staff, very fast service, lovely area, right across the bean (not a coffee bean, but the Cloud Gate) ~:)
This Starbucks knows my order. Granted I go there all the time at work, but still. They get to know your order and greet you by name if you are a frequent morning coffee drinker. Drinks are always made correctly and it doesn’t feel like a corporate atmosphere. Thanks, Starbucks staff!
I love this location. Morning staff are very friendly and has great customer skills. Great job team.
Very friendly staff. Clean location right across from Millennium Park. Everything was quick and made correctly.
Had a friend pick up my coffee I ask doe whipped cream did not get any! I open it up and is a couple inches not full! Cant even leave my office to go in and have it fix!
Extremely friendly and efficient staff.
They didnt even fret when I brought homeless folks in & bought him a bacon & gouda english Muffin sandwich. Theyre in my top 5 fav Starbucks in the Americas.
Love this Starbucks. Has a lot of good seating options and a big table for a big group. WiFi is fast and the staff are always very friendly.
Solid experience here -- normal Starbucks stuff, and good service. I ordered a canned Refresher, and the woman at the register wiped it off for me with a damp cloth, explaining that sometimes the cans get dusty from the customers waiting in line. Such attentiveness one does not find very often. Excellent location on Michigan Avenue as well. Great.
Too noisy and wrong music. It has too many lazy Blacks there sitting around.
Great service. Friendly atmosphere with an incredible view of the BEAN
They re-opened today for take-out (and delivery via Uber Eats). Their hours during the COVID-19 crisis are now limited to: 8am - 4pm, 7 days/week.
Staff is respectful and nice but kind of unprofessional. I met with my sisters whom I haven’t seen in ages and wanted to sit down and chat and the music was so loud! One star for the scenic view.
This has to be the worst Starbucks in Chicago.1. Always crowded. This wouldnt be an issue but2. They never have enough staff working. I know this location makes enough money, why not hire another person???3. This leads to slow orders & not enough clean-up (location is kinda gross)3. When especially busy quality goes down. I ordered a Venti and was given 80% ice.The employees are hardworking, this isnt their fault. This location is clearly being mismanaged/neglected.
Come here only because it is the closest one to me. But I cant stand how slow their service is. There are always at least one or two people behind the bar that seem more interested in chatting with each other than in working. Even those who are working seem to prefer taking their own sweet time instead of understanding that some customers here are looking for a quicker in and out service.
The service was quick. Visited here on Patricks day. Was way too busy but fast and efficient
They had a very knowledgeable staff who were able to answer all of our questions regarding some of the novelty drinks that they had. After spending $11 on two drinks I was happy that they provided water for free for the two younger children.
Great service with nice staff
Too slow.
Very busy location in Millennium Park, but they kept things moving quickly and drinks were just as expected.
I love the Strawberry Refresher
I am not much on Starbucks, but it will do in a pinch... I am not fond of being ignored either. I understand when you are busy, but to single out a person to help that obviously came in behind me because you prefer their race over mine... well, we all know what that is called.
Best place to warm up if youre around millennium park and feeling cold and need to use the restroom. good coffee too. often crowded but cozy place.
The place was decently clean, and the order was fine. But the music is VERY loud. I had trouble hearing the server. It was loud enough that I felt the need to mention it on the internet. So... fine for a coffee on the go, but reconsider if you need to work, or use the phone, or hear yourself think.
I unfortunately stopped at this location last night after an amazing dinner at a very upscale restuarant. This location was so dirt!!! The bathroom ( which I took a video of) was so dirt that I did not use it. I guess now that Starbucks has to allow the public use of their bathrooms they have decided to not clean them nor stick them with toilet paper. Totally unacceptable and Starbucks should be ashamed of the filthy conditions they expect their customers use!!! I seriously have seen and used cleaner out houses.
Ive been going to Starbucks for years and this is the first time ever I was not happy.I ordered a iced cinnamon almond milk macchiato with caramel. There was barely any cinnamon or caramel in the drink. It just tasted like iced almond milk.
Really great customer service. I didnt catch the name of the guy who helped me on register. (He was tall, had black glasses, black gauges, and blue eyes.) He was really nice and complimented my enamel pin. We chatted for a bit while he rang up my coffee about a show we both liked. Wish I could have chatted longer. Felt like a missed connection kind of thing, haha.Anyways, great place and decent coffee.
Good Starbucks. Has Nitro cold brew. The inside is pretty standard, but they have two bathrooms.
Friendly and efficient staff, good interior, and convenient location. Great spot to stop while sight-seeing or shopping.
Really good
Nice and cozy during a cold Sunday evening. Clean as always.
Excellent service even in a pandemic!
I like it, best Starbucks in Chicago,Very busy location as someoane else told bfore realy but they kept things moving quickly and drinks were just as expected.
I love Starbucks coffee and I love this Starbucks. Great service
Was in town for the BTS concert this past weekend and used mobile order. Fastest Ive witnessed so far!
Great location. Cozy and calm inside. Coffee is fresh and hot. Customer service is good.
Still waiting for a coffee after 30 minutes of waiting while every other dummy in this place orders water. I thought Starbucks serves coffee, not water.... unsatisfactory.
Restroom was dirty and they wont give you a cup of ice or water after you ordered and want you to get back in line for one. Which makes no absolute sense because another customer was served water without having to get back in line. If I could give a 0 star rating I would.
A good but busy Starbucks! But sure to wait in line for this one or order ahead
I love Starbucks coffee no matter where I get it, but this particular branch has the worst customer service. For the first time for me in a Starbucks, after my order had been made, the barista refused to give me a cup of water unless I go through the cashier and order one, which at this time was busy with a customers. It really upset me but Im still not OK with it.
Soooo busy. I liked watching how quickly and expertly they made the drinks while I waited. Lots of outlets so I was able to charge my dead cell phone.
Definitely a busy place especially right across the bean. Workers effecient and order comes out fast especially with the amount of people coming in.
Starbucks coffee shop is one place Ill recommend to a friend who love coffee like me
I never thought I’d have a bad experience at any of the Starbucks store. But today I was at this store and someone who was seated close to me forgot her handbag. The store was full, and I guess many of those people who were there were a tourist so what I would like someone do if that handbag was mine?! I immediately talked to a guy who was in the working in the cashier at that moment and told him about the handbag. He just said: I cant do anything, its not my business, and the store is busy, have a good day. I told him that would be better if he could keep her handbag in there because otherwise, someone could steal it. And he repeated: its not my business. I was so disappointed because I could imagine myself coming from other country and someone acting like him.
Is not open on cold days on time when supposed to be open at 5:30am. Service is horrible. No smile, how are you doing, no inconvenience letter on the window, or will be open at a specific time. Needs to upgrade on customer service.
Usually great service, but today it was extremely slow service. A bit disappointing...
Starbucks is great cause I helped frame one in Clovis new mexico
Fast even with long line of ppl.
Love this location. The staff is so friendly and the service is always prompt. Plus the manager is easy on the eyes.
Place was really busy. We just wanted some water. Kera went out of her way to get us water without us having to wait for the long line to get served. Thank you Kera for your hospitality and great customer service.
They made my coffee before even buy for my coffee that really fast, and service is very good and staff was very friendly and nice. i love it :)
The staff was really nice and the place was clean. I got my order quickly with no problems.
Such a wonderful one amazing place to visit especially in coffee in the morning I love it
Nice tables. I wish they had more variety of food.
Very good location and people was kind, but very busy.
Too expensive, coffee sucks
Great place looks out on the Chicago Bean. For how busy the area is and how busy the stor is the service is quick. On a busy day it takes about 5-7 minutes to get your order. Ordering through the app will save time though at this location even if you are in the store when you order.
Handled the immense crowd with premium service and well-crafted coffee.
This is a pretty good Starbucks location, with friendly staff a decent atmosphere. Its usually pretty busy and noisy in my experience, due to its location right across from Millennium Park.
I asked for a tall chocolate mocha with no ice and they gave me 1/4th of a tall cup of coffee. And the barista said thats the quantity you get without ice!!! I would give 0 stars if i could. And my kids hot chocolate was piping hot.
Nothing better than a hot chocolate for a colder day
Friendly employees, clean space, quiet environment, maybe play some quiet music in the background. 5/5 service overall, drink was amazing, first time!
Not too bad for a location. Definitely a busier one. The staff didnt seem overly rushed...a little chatty with each other. On a side note, the chile mocha frap was way too spicy
Friendly, efficient Starbucks. Baristas & co couldnt be nicer or more responsive. Great way to begin the workday at 7 am. Benches in back at plugin tables could use a daily wipe down.
Great staff, they always remember me, are very kind, and work at the speed of light.
Fast service, lots of food options, cheerful and courteous staff. Good music!!!
Has a Clover. Good location. Would be 5 stars if the interior design was more interesting.
Google maps said the place opened at 5:30am. It’s dark and cold out, so I’m standing by the door to stay safe. I got yelled at by the barista opening for standing by the door, saying they didn’t open for another hour. Yelled at. Angrily. So I went to Dunkin’ Doughnuts down the street. The Dunkin’ guy smiled at me when I entered, and I can got equally good coffee AND a doughnut for the price of one of Starbucks’ drinks. Four stars for Dunkin’. One star for Starbucks.
