I went to 10 bridal stores in Chicago and Pittsburgh and Haute and Co was my least favorite experience. Its by appointment only and has minimal floor space and as a result all the dresses are in the back. The only bridal dresses that I were able to try on / see were ones the stylist picked out. Being my first appointment, I didnt have much of an idea of what I wanted other than some pictures of dresses I liked pieces of. We didnt spend much time reviewing silhouettes or talking about options, she just went in the back and grabbed some dresses she thought Id like. The dresses were all very different, not very much like what we had discussed. When I said things like I wanted off the shoulder with a lower waist and less beading, she would just tell me they could lower the waist line, add straps, remove beadng, etc. and would hold pieces of lace up to my arms to help me envision it. It was hard to picture and frustrating that she wasnt showing me dresses I was interested in, and instead was showing me dresses I didnt like and how she could change them. I had no trouble in other salons finding dresses that didnt need massive redesigns to match what I was looking for. This perhaps would be a good fit for a plus size bride who doesnt know what they want and isnt super detail oriented but as it is we had a much better experience at other boutiques (even Davids Bridal was better which was a shocker to me!).

Ive had a few of our Wedicity bridal clients purchase gowns from Haute & Co. for their wedding day and I must say, they always take great care of our clients! Their fitting rooms are beautiful and intimate while the stylists are there to really cater to each bride and make them feel special.Recently, when a few things went awry with a veil order, they handled it with professionalism and kept the clients interest at heart when managing their order and the process - which I respect more than anything. Most of all, I love that I can send ladies to the shop knowing they will have a comfortable experience trying on wedding gowns in a range of sizes and styles. This was an experience of a lifetime - my stylist (Shannelle) was amazing... she knew her stuff, paid attention to what I was saying, and only brought out dresses that flattered my figure. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a plus-size wedding gown.

I have had a marvellous experience at Haute & Co. I was extremely nervous trying on gowns, but everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease. I tried on many dresses and all of them fit which was really nice. I found the perfect dress and I’m so happy to have had such a lovely experience. Im fairly new to the team at Haute & Co as a Bridal stylist but I already feel like family! The boutique is warm, inviting and judgement free. Working under the owner, Shannelle, has been a priceless experience. She really knows how to make a brides vision come to life and also maintain the body positive vibe of the boutique. My coworkers are also experts and working with them has been nothing but fun and informative! I highly recommend every curvy bride makes an appointment with us. I read on their website that most brides that come here find their dress on their first appointment and I, admittedly, didnt believe it. I went in for my first appointment SURE that I would leave empty handed because its a pretty big decision and definitely thought I would need multiple appointments. My stylist was Allie and she was just wonderful. She really listened to me and the things that I wanted, and I was pretty vague and didnt make it easy. I had a really hard time articulating what I was looking for exactly. Im a street size 18 and all the samples fit, I tried on a few very beautiful dresses that just werent it and after hearing what I liked and didnt like about what I had seen she came out with a dress that made me tear up before I even put it on. It was perfect and despite my skepticism I couldnt think of leaving the store without it. Its been about a month since I purchased my dress on my first appointment to this store and I still get so excited when I think about it.They were truly great and after going to other bridal shops that had one or two samples that didnt actually come close to fitting me and that made me feel terrible - this experience not only was a relief, but it was fun and exciting.Thank you Allie!

I was married in April of 2017. I purchased my dress from Haute and Co. Bridal Boutique and let me tell you I had a fabulous experience. My personal stylist was Shannelle, and I along with my family and friends had a blast! It was a great experience they said. She was experienced, had a lot of advice and wisdom to share, funny and patient. They thought it was going to be hours of trying on dresses that didnt have my actual size, and that they would be in a cramped space, tight with customers since it was a Saturday. And Id only able to try on dusty, overly worn, sample gowns. Not the case at all! The appointment time was accurately spaced so we had her all to ourselves. Another appointment was going on as well and each of us had our own stylists. We were politely greeted by the great staff, offered refreshments and shown beautiful gowns all throughout the shop. The dressing room was clean and large, it offered a robe if needed. Each gown that I loved was in my budget and had my size! So surprised. Others shops Id been to (which were several), this was not the case. Being plus size, our curvaceous beauty is being recognized in a big and beautiful way. But bridal boutiques have not caught on completely it seems. This shop is the place to be if youre in my yacht (situation). With each gown I grew more and more confident in finding my dream dress. I actually found it the first time there, but I was bitten by the dress bug and had to see more! As soon as I went to another shop I asked myself what was I thinking?! I immediately called and got another appointment to try on the dress I kept thinking about. When I stepped back in and thought of what my future husband would think if he saw me, I began to tear up. Yep! This is it, the dream dress! Shannelle said. Lol. And he teared up when he saw me! Win win! Haute & Co was a saving grace for me and helped make one of my dreams come true. I was NOT given a discount or coupon or anything for my review, nor have I ever worked there. Thank you girls at Haute & Co. Bridal in Chicago. The women were but it sells in there,the dresses were old,and you cant take pictures of yourself with the dress on.

Unfortunately we visited this store in December and tried to patronize this so called upscale bridal boutique but it turned out to be a low class and unprofessional, horribly, staffed space located in a downtown store front on the second floor. We went to the store and was greeted by a poor appearance and rugged staff who tried to cover their incompetence with unnecessary vocabulary and articulation. Minutes upon my arrival Ive observed unattractive dresses half way hanging from the hangers and dresses were rummpled on the floor. Surprisingly,The floor was also dusty, dirty and filled with crumbs. My friend went to the dressing room to try on her dress and the dressing room was sooo tight she didnt have enough room to put the dress on. At my experience I feel that the items were a little over priced, the overall experience with looking for a wedding gown was poor. Considering the mannerisms of staff we decided not purchase anything from this store and will not recommend this store to any bride who want a memorable experience in looking for a dress.

Thank you Haute Bridal! I cant wait to pick up my dress for my November wedding. They were professional, understood the plight of big girls and kept it all under budget. I didnt think I would find a dress in the first shop I tried them on in, but I did. I could try on ANYTHING and it all would fit and could be ordered in my size. They even fit me in when I screwed up the day when I came from out of town. 10000 thanks for making the day special.If you want something more boutique and an entire experience built with you, the big and beautiful bride, in mind (and not davids bridal) --this is the place.UPDATE: my dress and the service was amazing until the last moment I stepped out of it. Shanelle is bridal perfection. She and her staff know, understand and empathize with the dress buying and alterations process. Customization at an affordable price was topper on the cake. Brava ladies and Shanelle. You are doing it right!
