Pros – the colors inside a very cheerful, there is ample seating, generally easy to find parking. Old fashions were delicious and the ordering app worked well. I like the payment system (what you see is what you pay, no tip needed).Cons - feels impersonal due to the ordering system. No one came around to explain the menu to us or offer suggestions on the beers. There were also a lot of children in the bar, I get that its family friendly but it felt a bit like Chuck E. Cheese. Also a hamburger and pork sandwich took almost 40 minutes to come out on a Friday which seems excessive for a night when there wasnt even a wait for a table.

What an experience even in the new normal. Very welcoming owner and brewer and to explain the ordering process. The food and the beer pairing was just too good. The beer labels are just a masterpiece to admire. We got the pretzel nuggets and the BYO Tots which was a lot for two people.Tip: take a picture of the beers available from the screen as the online menu may not have descriptions

I can’t get enough of these wraps. I prefer the shrimp but chicken hits the spot just as well. They’ve got great beer selections, and the food holds up well during delivery! I got the yucca fries this time, a tad soggy but still so good. The oil and the yucca consistency go super well together, it’s almost cheesy.

Great spot to grab food and beer. Service was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Indoor dining is spaced out and the place is very clean. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was amazing to say the least. Cooked to perfection and actually had a good spicy kick to it. It was juicy and flavorful, and the coleslaw and pickles compliment the fried chicken very well. The Mac n cheese side was delicious as well. Perfectly cheesy and gooey. Very filling and satisfying meal. I got the Vindicators 3 IPA and it was great. Hoppy and full of flavor. The artwork on the can is awesome! I would recommend this spot. Street parking available nearby.

Moved in a block away and was expecting to make this my go to stop as it looked like a good establishment. Went in there the first time and ordered a beer. It was served to me with about a quarter of the glass consumed by foam and the beer was room temperature. Turns out they just changed the keg and did not feel the need to let me know. Thanks for the warm and honestly bad tasting beer. Second time I go I show up at 3:55 to glares from the two bartenders. They do not say anything so I ask if they are open and they begrudgingly tell me they open at 4 and asked me to wait outside. It is 90 degrees, sunny, and humid and I was 5 minutes early. What horrible service. I would caution you against going here and will be actively telling people to avoid it. 5 minutes I kid you not.

They may be trying to Embrace the weird a bit too forcibly with the winged hippolope, but its hard not to love their beer, food, service, and mission. Well crafted variety of beers. The best salad Ive had in years, with perfectly smoked chicken and sweet bacon. And all prices are set for a living wage without needing to add a tip. Highly recommended.

Went around 6:30 on a Tuesday which also happens to be Trivia night (starts at 7:30). Bartenders and staff were very attentive and nice. The wings were A+ crispy, juicy, sauce on the wings was perfect, tasty with not too much sauce. Accompanied it with a Two In The Bush IPA and would highly recommend. I looked at purchasing a four pack Togo but didnt see it.

Very cool atmosphere inside this brewery. Almost could be implanted into the river north area with the vibe. Unfortunately, for being a brewery their food far surpasses their beer. I would definitely would go back for food but probably not for beer until they destroy their current offerings and start from scratch. I appreciate the creativity, but the execution is just bad. Wait time is understandable given that they just opened. I’d give it time to let the hype wear down then I can easily see this being a no wait-max 25 minute wait. Service was ok, and the up stairs was a good idea for waiting for a table. But on a busy night plan on it being crammed. Pricing is high on beers and average on food.

Family friendly, relaxing spot with good food and tip-free service. Their bitty bites menu was great, with big enough portions for my two little ones to share. The smash burger was tasty, and the fried are excellent. Loved that all beers come in full or 5oz pours, but even better was the crowler option to bring home 32oz of any beer on tap or the 16ozx4 variety pack of their four most popular beers. Located right next to the Ultimate Ninjas spot, popular with kids birthdays, I highly recommend this place for something afterward before continuing with your day.

I totally dig the vibe here. Amazing branding of the space, the cans, the menu, even the digital menu is fun!Im not a fan of breweries that dont have some kind of dark beer year round. Summertime is horrible for those of us who dislike sours and hops. That said, I had their Krakens Bramble, a berry gose, and that wasnt too sour. Very refreshing. So no hate on the lack of ambers or darks this season.Had some food too:The pretzels were awesome. However the beer cheese was a bit too thin, got messy, but awesome. The spicy chicken was great, many say that. Proper bite on it too.Had the pulled pork. Was pretty good too. Not as good tho, as I wasnt sold on the beer battered onion rings, and the sandwich was like 90% about those. The pork portion wasnt great without those. Wouldnt have that one again. We topped it with the salted caramel cookie skillet thing. Thats real darned good, and was topped with ice cream. Finally, as most mention, tip is included! So before you judge the prices, take 20% off the top of those items.

I really wanted to like this place... But it was a below average experience. There were a ton of staff but everything seemed very disorganized. I like the pricing structure, its similar to the rest of the world where tip and tax is included in the price... But $8 for a 10oz beer that isnt very good is not worth it in my opinion. I hope that some of these issues are just figuring out what works and what the market will support as far as pricing goes. Your probably reading this deciding if it is worth going to... Its worth a try but my visit came up short. Im going to try again in the future and hopefully revise this review upwards.

I have seriously been waiting for this place to open up since their sign went up outside...and lemme tell you...it definitely did not disappoint! This cute, vibrant, colorful and creative addition to the Ravenswood neighborhood is exactly what this side of town has been waiting for and maybe...just maybe help revitalize it as well. The service, the food and yes, the beer...worked together well to keep the smiles on their patrons faces from disappearing. The beer menu is inventive and refreshing with my favorite being the Beeting Heart which is of all things, a Kolsch beer made from beets! Food was tasty and the atmosphere was fun. Had to wait over an hour for a seat, which was fine because we were able to grab beer. Some of the beer we had was good, while some of it was undrinkable. The basil beer tastes like a slice of lasagna was blended. Had to send one back and had talk to Carl who grilled on why I believed the beer his company served was terrible. It was a passive-aggressive, uncomfortable interaction. Once we finally sat, our server was super nice and knowledgeable, but obviously needed some help as they were busy. I also noticed Carl having a beer instead of helping his overwhelmed staff. Half of our food came out before the other half because they ran out of cheese. It was pretty disappointing to not be served at the same time and they forgot some items and we didn’t bother reminding them because it seemed like a hassle. I really want to like this place, I hope they can improve their customer experience.

How do you put so much time and effort into a brewery, but forget to put that same level of professionalism into your beer? Went in with a party of 4, and had 4 different beers. 3 of the 4 didnt live up to the description, and werent even worth finishing. Wed intended to make a night of it, but left after the first round. They might have bit off more than they could chew trying to open with such a robust list of beers. Hopefully they can straighten things out and get the beer up to the level of the unique space theyve created.

The beers are 50/50 i went the first time and did not like alot. This time i checked untapped to avoid disappointment the four beers that i did have were pretty good.
