This was one of the best experiences I have had in Chicago. The staff (especially Virginia) was super knowledgeable and picked 3 beers that perfectly suited my tastes. If you are in the Chicago area and like beer it is a must visit!

Best place in Chicago to get craft beer. Not only because the people are great, but its the only place where you can buy one can at a time so you can mix and match to try all the great releases each week. Plus, a solid loyalty program. Love it

I stopped in and grabbed a couple 4 packs of singles and the gentleman was super helpful with suggestions and recommendations. You can enjoy a beer here too although I think their limit was 5 people in the store when I stopped by.

Amazing!!!! Went with my girlfriend and we had a blast. Would love to come back with my friends. The selection was extensive and amazing! Had everything I wanted. They answered all my questions and gave perfect recommendations for beer to take home! The flight was a great way to sample and had great variety. Will be telling all my friends and family to come here when they are in the area!

I had my coloring book birthday party in their private room, and everyone got to pick their own drinks. The selection was great and they even had ciders for pickier folks like me. We brought our own snacks (I like running the cheese plates), and everyone loved the atmosphere.I’d love to have my birthday party there again!

This bar is taking covid protocols very seriously and i felt completely safe the entire length of my visit, which is refreshing after seeing so many other bars and the city government not take this seriously at all. 5/5 experience! Its was a cold Sunday evening in December but they were open and I wanted a beer. The temperature was 34 degrees fahrenheit but was much cooler with the wind chill. Undeterred, I went in and ordered from one of the hundreds of beers available. Then I proceeded to sit outside, due to covid regulations, and even though it was quite chilly, it was fun drinking beer, in December, outside, in Chicago. Thanks for the memories Beermiscuous. Youre the best.

If youre still drinking at home, give their curbside ordering a try. Were out of their delivery area but I saw delivery is an option as well.

I love this spot. They have hundreds of choices and the beers on tap are always really interesting and varied. There are a lot of game options and the vibe is really relaxed. They have comedy shows in the basement sometimes.

I have never had a bad experience at Beermiscuous! The staff is excellent both in beer knowledge and in their service. I’ve always thought of Beermiscuous as a community forward space but their seriousness about their customer’s and staff’s health throughout the pandemic has solidified that. The lengths they go through to follow Covid-19 guidelines are incredibly thorough and I am glad for it.

Unlike Andriy, I truly am a proponent of following mandates and public health protocols. I never had to be told to keep my mask on because I am not dumb enough to keep taking it off. Seriously one of my favorite places to go. They have a huge selection of beer and the kindest staff folks. Also, reserve the basement if you’re having a party with 10-25 people. It’s $50 and it goes towards your tab! Hosted a going away party and had a blast!

Went to this place for the 1st time today since it was listed as a nice place to study. The customer service needs to improve! The lady working there told me as I was getting ready to sit down that the place is closed for indoor dining.Okay, no problem but it was the way she approached me that very unwelcoming!! Not to mention I saw her being very polite and friendly to OTHERS that were at the register.I definitely won’t ever come back to this establishment even when they open up full service.

This employee owned bar is one of my favorites in the city. They have a ton of beers to choose from to drink there or take to go. And the bar staff is super knowledgeable and can help you find something to drink even if you arent an expert.Ive continued to go during covid-19 to get beer to go, and the staff are taking everyones (theirs and their customers) safety seriously.

While others throughout the place were having fun enjoying their beers and conversing without masks on, we and another couple at the bar seats were rudely asked Mask on when not drinking a beer 3 times during 3 min of our being there. Were huge proponents of following the rules, yet seemed the waiters solely wanted to exercise their power of control, which is absurd. The place is great and has a lovely selection of beers, yet likely it was our 1st and last time being there, solely per unjust customer service. Otherwise, wed rate it as 5 stars.- In response to the places reply: no one enjoys maskless conversations - thats a blatant lie. Will help for reviewers to post vides/photos, in their forthcoming reviews. + Its not what but how you said it, as were big proponents of following rules and reducing the pandemic.

Pretty much laid out like a coffee house far more than a bar - it even threw *me* the first time I went by - but they have a dozen draughts from all over the place (Illinois to Quebec) and 300+ bottles (!) as well. Worth the time, effort and $, IMO.

The selection here is wide-ranging but thoughtfully chosen. Even better, though, are the smart and friendly staffers who offer great (unpretentious) suggestions.

There are a lot of great beer shops in Chicago, but this is without question the best. The best staff, the best beer selection, the best beer curation, the best dog policy, etc, etc. Also, its employee owned and has by a long shot the best Covid practices in place, so you can feel good about drinking here.

Great beer selection for draft, bottles and cans. Drink anything there or get any bottle or can retail for $4 off each. No garbage beers to be found. You can find simple, staple, go to beers as well as some amazing rare gems. I plan to come back a lot. Staff is wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. Mecca for beer drinkers.

Beermiscuous is a really fun place with a large selection of beer options. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm. Several games were available to play while we enjoyed our beer. Beer flights are available and you can select four from a list. The bottle and can selection is extremely extensive.

I have spent many evenings at this bar, enjoying fantastic beer, meeting with friends and family, chatting with the bartenders, etc. I dont even bother looking at the menu or in the cases because Austin knows what I like and always pours me something delicious.Did you know that Beermiscuous is employee-owned? Did you know that Beermiscuous was purchased by the employees in March, 2020—aka THE WORST POSSIBLE TIME TO BUY A BAR? The Beermiscuous staff have spent the last year going above and beyond to keep their business open and keep serving customers. They developed and opened an online store. They figured out how to do contactless pick-ups. They partnered with a local delivery service. They got a sidewalk permit and set up a drinking area outside to allow at least a few customers to drink on-premise. And now, finally, they are open again to the public. They have been extremely fastidious about health safety through the entire year. The staff is currently fully vaccinated but still masks up, just in case.Yes, it blows to have to wear a mask when youre at a bar. But thems the rules... and not Beermiscuouss rules either, but the citys. The Beermiscuous owners have bent over backward to get everything up and running again to service Chicagoans. I know I appreciate their level of fastidiousness and care with COVID rules; its the same level of fastidiousness and care they bring to running their bar and serving beer! Beermiscuous cares about beer, cares about Chicago, and cares about YOU.

Went a few times in pre pandemic times. Ive been twice in the pandemic era. They adhere to the city, state, county safeguards around Covid 19. So masks on in between sips of beer. Peoplw dont want to get covid, people dont want other people getting Covid. Theyre just trying to survive the pandemic and not get put out of business by the city. I completely realize other business might not enforce mask between sips. The fact of the matter is the pandemic isnt over everyone hasnt been vaccinated and masks work! 16 drafts and wide variety of bottles and cans.

Austin hooked us up with tons of delicious beer to keep us occupied through a Thanksgiving at home. Cant wait to visit once we can safely enjoy a beer inside.

Cool atmosphere with a unique style of combining serving and selling brews from lots of other places all combined into a single locale. Their prices were pretty normal for a draft and had a few deals on single takeout brews. I had a Brewdog Cybernaut, a hazy IPA, which was pretty good. Also are a untappd verified venue for those interested.

Rented out the Cellar for my baby shower. Had an absolutely amazing time. Easy to book and communication was a breeze. Space was larger than expected and beer selection was great!

I love that they have all the coolers with a variety of beer. The phase 3 was AHHHHHmazing. The games they have there also keep you off the phones and enjoying time with friends. Its such a pleasant setting. Cant wait to go back!

A beer lovers haven. A very cool setup. 16 beers on draft, then coolers stocked with cans and bottles. Beers are priced to drink there, but if you are buying to take home, you reduce $4 from that price. I go and drink what’s on tap, then take some cans home. They get some very rare beer. It’s a wonderful place.

Great place that allows you to bring your dog inside. Our dog loved hanging out and getting attention from people passing by while we enjoyed some beer and played some board games.

One of my favorite places to grab a beer in the city. They have a very laid back vibe in the beer cafe and no shortage of options for even the pickiest of beer nerds. I especially like the fact that you can create your own 4-pack or 6-pack to take home at a discount. Good rewards program as well if you frequent the place.

Drinks are pricey (and limited selection for anything other than beer) but the atmosphere is incredible. You get a nice set of couches, fireplace, and plenty of games to play. Perfect for a more casual evening with friends.

We will definitely drink more beers here. They have 15 taps, all interesting stuff, and about 250 or so bottled and canned crafts. You can make a flight out of any 4 of the drafts. Bring own food! Chill and classy ambiance and nice staff. Two thumbs up.

This is a place to go by yourself or with friends. I often plan to spend an afternoon working from here because its that type of place. But they also have a lot of board games which makes coming here a good time. Hundreds of beers to choose from in the coolers up front to drink inside or take to go, plus a few options on tab. Very laid back atmosphere. Staff is super knowledgeable about the selection.

This is my happy place. Discovered it not too long ago and have been consistently going to try the new selections that are in the shop every week. It’s a great atmosphere with tables and games rather than the loud music of a typical bar. There is no better place for the selection of beers in the city. Don’t forget to about the rewards!

Bartenders were friendly and knew their craft beer when we asked for Kasteel Rouge they didnt have it but offered something comparable. A great alternative to World of Beers if youre not interested in a sports bar theme. If you are looking to meet someone this isnt the best place since it wasnt packed on a Saturday and the only girl at the bar was reading a book? ..with headphones on. Definitely interesting vibe

That beer selection is insane. They have cute things to make gift boxes. They also have small party rooms that are great for Avon, Paparazzi, and sellers like that, and you can get these rooms for free. Close to public transport, and good prices.

Exactly what it says on the packet. Wide beer selection, great for shopping to stock your fridge at home too.The upstairs space could use some more sound baffling because it was exceptionally loud when we were there. It wasnt impossible to be heard but it was a challenge.
