I love this company because not only is the hair great, but the customer service is A1. My sister and I have both purchased this hair and loved it. Ive had mines for over a year now and its still in great shape, even after coloring it. I highly recommend this hair to anyone who wants to invest in quality. It makes in sense to waste money somewhere else when everything you need is here.

I dont have anything bad to say about this location. I have a complaint about Her Imports itself. I sure hope that the bundles that are used here are not garbage. I paid over $300 for this hair that I thought should last at least a year. I barely have had this hair for a month. It tangles. I have to brush it several times so it doesnt look bad. I only washed it one time. I contacted customer service and was told theres nothing they can do since it has been installed. Of course it is going to look nice when I first received it.This is a garbage product. I asked even if I can have new bundles sent of better quality. Never again will I order. $300+ down the drain. I would have been better off buying hair at the beauty supply store. I am also going to file a complaint with the BBB since I can not get any assistance from the corporate office.

Looking for great hair? Her Imports is it! Im fairly new in the sew-in world, and literally after years of looking around and even going to stores and feeling the different hair but not being satisfied, I started hearing about this company. A couple of close friends are hairstylists and really had good things to say. I was still skeptical but I bit the bullet and got three bundles, 16 and (2) 18 of the Peruvian Body Wave. Let me tell you, it was amazing! Im truly a fan. The quality is great (even the discounted bundles!) and it feels like butter! It washes great, curls great, straightens great and doesnt have that funny smell to it. Bonus: the price is perfect for a working mom whose kids seem to grow out of clothes/shoes every other week, like mine! I got so many compliments and recommended them so much that a few friends have switched and are equally as pleased. Her Imports, keep being honest and selling great hair and youll always have a client in me!

Ive purchased hair from the Chicago store in the past and it was great quality hair. The 2 young women selling the hair now is selling hair that you cant do anything with now. It wont curl, crinkle, or straighten. AND, theres NO ONE to complain to. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS HAIR!

HAIR QUALITY HAS CHANGED FOR THE WORSE!I used to rave about her imports. The last three times has been AWFUL( yes three that’s how much I trusted their hair in the past)Can’t dye the hair it looks fried I’ve been doing the same method for years never had a problem this hair is definitely previously processed and not the same quality it used to be. Now I’m out of hundreds now thousands of dollars not sure why the changes but this hair is garbage now

This hair is amazing and very versatile! I purchased this hair about a year ago. I have dyed this hair about 6 or 7 times!!! So much that Ive lost count!!! People are amazed at how soft this hair is after all the processing Ive done! Heck Im amazed!!! Lol I will definitely be purchasing more hair. Im getting married in April and I wouldnt trust any other company for my special day! The customer service was great as well. As I was walking up to the building a guy was walking by and saw I looked a little lost. He asked what suite I was looking for. I told him her imports. Turns out he was the consultant and was headed to lunch. He turned around and escorted my friend and I back to the suite and waited almost an hour for me to make my purchase before taking his break! I had driven from Indiana just to go to her imports so I was very appreciative that he didnt make us wait for him to take his break! It was well worth the trip!

From the minute I stepped into to the store I was helped through the process of understanding what hair type, texture and length would be perfect for me! Purchasing hair from Her Imports was the first time I had ever bought weave before and worn it. I was going on prom and wanted the best hair. THIS IS THE BEST HAIR! I was told by many people and they definitely live up to the reviews. This hair will last for a while when taken care of properly. Its already been 8 months and my hair still looks new.

This company is honestly the best!! Ive never spent a lot of money on hair before. I went to the store in Chicago and the worker was lovely. He explained and answered any questions I had and promised me it was worth it. He was telling the truth, I got the deep wave Brazilian and fell in love. I loved the way I felt when it in, I felt like a new person. It was very easy to manage and the curls always went back after straightening it or doing what ever else to it and its been a year. Also the Malaysian straight was so silky and straight and blended well with my hair. The guy who sold me the bundles was a short Hispanic male. I believe he was more interested in making a quick sale than keeping a long time customer . 2 of the bundles body wave are fine . The 3rd bundle after one wash not only tangles but the hair sticks to the flat iron . I will never buy hair from here again . how can u sell me 2 different quality bundles ?

If you are looking for amazingly soft, thick volumed, shed free, bouncy body with all textures of hair then you are in the correct place. Her Importa is amazing and I love them. There was great customer service and Kai will let you test her and everything you want before you make your purchase and I loved every moment of it.

The worst hair you can buy! They talk a good game but the hair is no good! I put a claim on them and called the BBB on them and filed a claim. Dont shop for hair at this place. Every time they get reported, they move!

I purchased 4 bundles of hair from this location! 2 of the Brazilian Body Wave 22/26& 2 of the Malaysian Straight 24/28. The wefts were excellently constructed and after several installs i still recieved little to no shedding. The hair retained its luster & both curled & straightened beautifully. The best thing about this experience was that they were readily able to assist me with finding & booking a stylist to match my budget needs. I highly recommend this company & this store front! -BC

I have yet to make a purchase. I have FOB (fear of buying)when it comes to shopping for hair online. But, I have researched the company and have found no reason not to purchase. Their website is extremely easy to use. They have very clear and concise instructions on what to purchase. The videos and before and after pics are everything a novice weave wearer like myself needs to make a purchase!!!!

Best quality hair I have ever received! I cant believe how long it lasted! Over a one year! Yes! Very little shedding and I have colored and put heat to it many times. Only reason I have replaced it was because I wanted black hair again. Worth the buy and I am forever a loyal customer!

The staff at this location are very professional and take their time to educate you about the hair!!! I have had my 3 bundles (2 26 and 1 24) of Brazilian loose wave for about 5 months. I am a CNA and also in nursing school so I really dont have a lot of time to do my hair so I dont take care of the hair like Im suppose to but it still stands strong through all the neglect and abuse. I can brush it and its still soft and doesnt tangle or mat up!! I recommend this hair to anyone!!!

Ordered 3 bundles from the online site and this hair is just horrible one of the wefts is coming apart. The hair smelled like it had been bleached or dyed when I opened it. The hair was shedding when I washed it & just is nowhere near quality hair. This is beauty supply hair maybe worth $50 not the $300 I gave this company. They should really be ashamed of themselves bc they are essentially falsely advertising the quality of this hair. This was my 1st purchase from them & my last. DO NOT buy this hair. Kendra’s Boutique is far better & her hair comes in a silky bag not a plastic one like HER IMPORTS I will wear this hair bc I have things to do this weekend but come next week I will be taking this hair out & putting it where it belongs. I recommend going to the store and personally picking out what bundles you want so you know what your getting :) because its virgin hair not all the bundles are going to match in tone and size ! I Love the text messaging feature so Im always current on the new sales and discounts. Ive dyed my hair twice and cut it twice and it doesnt even look like Ive had the hair for a year . It is about the quality of the hair but at the end of the day its more of how you maintain your hair !

First experience with Her Imports♡My sister usually orders from Her Imports quite often but I always order the same thing but its much cheaper. I never received the quality of hair that I wanted from other companies. I noticed that you cant be stuck on quantity of the coins you spend, but buying great hair depends on the quality of the hair youre purchasing.The haoe feels amazing and at the time I was a college student so everyone asked about my Brazilian Body Wave! I got five uses out of three bundles, best purchase of my life! You will not be disappointed!!

The hair is fine but I have a slight irritation with their customer service or lack of training. Its bad enough we have to pay state tax on online orders (which wasnt the case back in the day) but they charge state tax, county tax and municipal tax. The hair is being shipped from Baltimore not Chicago. They charged me for Cook county and Chicago Municipal taxes when I dont live in that area and there taxes are higher than the city and county where I live. The customer service person who I spoke to tells me when I ordered online last time I was charged that fee too. Ok great, you ripped me off back in February and I didnt notice...but now I noticed. So she tells me thats just how it charges people when they order from Illinois. God forbid they actually try to care or PUT FORTH EFFORT to fix it. As someone paying for a service, I must be asking too much to not be slightly ripped off.It really makes me want to find another hair vendor or start selling hair myself. Unfortunately when buying hair, prices are jacked up if its good quality and cheap if its not.After reading some of the other reviews Im kinda nervous. I just bought their top of the line hair and I havent gotten it yet.Some people say its a hot mess. I will be updating my review once I get it and have in for about a month.Back in February I bought Peruvian her because I got her the year before that was the bomb. The her I got in February was supposed to last up to 2 years. I had it for about 5 months. I never put heat on the hair and the ends started splitting like crazy. I hope I have better luck with this new order.

In response to Sheila Thomas-Spencer in regards to all the Illinois taxes that you are paying, on your hair purchase - and feel like it’s a rip-off from Herimports, which is a Chicago-based business (regardless of where hair is shipped from). What matters is where the company is based, if you know anything about business. I live in Chicago and there are big taxes on everything throughout the State. It’s a high cost of living. When I relocated to Chicago from the east coast I was amazed at how expensive it is and the tax base collects 2-3 different taxes. It’s all documented on the sales receipts. No one business entity controls the taxes that must be collected. This is State law. Therefore, no business can be held accountable for what must be collected under law, other than to collect it from the paying customer. Herimports has quality hair at excellent costs.

I have never worn any other hair. I love Her Imports. This is by far the best quality hair I have seen and it lasts for a very long time. I recommend to everyone 💯 Never have I been disappointed.

I called to purchase hair and the guy was very unprofessional and I was thrown off by his lack of good customer service when I thought I was very friendly. I really liked Tasha, the woman that was there before, who was very friendly and had great customer service skills. And for me to recommend this company non stop to everyone who ask me about my hair upsets me! Get people that actually wants to work with better attitudes!

I purchased Malaysian straight online in 2015 for my 30th birthday. I really got my moneys worth because the hair was soft, no shedding, tangle free, and I colored it several times. My last installation of this hair was this past March 2019 and my sis cut into a bob because she forbade I keep using that hair but it was still good so why throw it away? I may have gotten 8-10 installations from this hair, no kidding and I am very picky about quality, the hair was perfect. The Malaysian was 16 18 20. That same year 2015 i purchased Peruvian from the actual Chicago store because i wanted short but I did not want to cut my Malaysian and the Peruvian was horrible, barely lasted 1 installation so I trashed it. However I was about to order more Malaysian online and it seems like the quality has gone down tremendously according to recent reviews so I will save my $400 and try a different vendor.

I love the hair and this store!!! I purchase this hair back in June for the first time 14in 16in 18in Brazilian deep wave for my birthday. And when I say Im still using it and its Sept and it still feels like I just bought it that day. The only thing I have to do is wash the bundles with shampoo and condition and let dry and it goes right back to it original state!!!! The lady in the store was very patient and kind. At first I was a little nervous because I never spent so much on hair before but I can at least say now its the best choice I made!!!!! Herimports has a customer for life!!!

I love the hair and have for 4 years, but the person that works here now is not very nice. She acts like she does not want to be there and will not let me look at the hair but, instead pulls random bundles out that do not match. She never smiled and just had a nasty attitude Id recommend you just buy online.

I purchased some of the best Peruvian hair I ever had a year ago from here in the store. Then I bought online and the quality was not as good. Then I bought the Her Hair top of the line guaranteed hair. I noticed it didnt appear to look like the hair I had seen prior in the store, but I thought maybe I was tripping. I took it to my stylist of years who colored my previous hair. The color wouldnt take and now it is acting like a defiant birds nest. They state this hair is guaranteed and takes to color within minutes, yet they wont take it back once it is colored FYI.

So this is my 2nd experience buying hair from this company. The first time I bought from them the hair was good quality and did well with respect to shedding and manageability for about 6 months (2 sew ins). This experience, however, has been THE WORST. My beautician first noticed that the tracks were spitting during the installation. She also noticed that the ends of the hair appeared as if they had been chopped off to make the hair 12 inches. This made it very difficult to cut and style (Im honestly still not happy with the result despite my stylist doing her best). Usually hair is tapered at the end. When I called the business to voice my concern, I was told I would get a call back from the manager who never called. When I called back, the manager answered and instructed to call the customer service line. The young lady who answered the phone then told me that the customer service line is only for online orders. They redirected me back to the store I had just called. The people who I have spoken with over the phone were cordial which was good. But their process for dealing with customer complaints is flawed and the quality of the hair is inconsistent. I would either think twice before buying from this company or at least examine the hair very carefully before purchasing.

At The Time I Went, There Was A Guy Rep There (Sorry Cant Remember His Name) But Super Helpful & Nice. He Explained To Me Everything. Not Only Did I Get Approved & My Hair, He Upgraded Me A Bundle Since There Was No More 24 For No Charge. TERRIBLE experience. Please be mindful when selecting hair. I bought 3 bundles of Brazilian Body Wave 18 18 and 20 and after installing the hair for ONE day the hair began to be matted and tangled. It also sheds consistently. I do not recommend purchasing from this vendor.

I had never heard of the street where HER IMOPORTS is locate so I put it in my GPS. Once I arrived I was taking back because it was beautiful. The locate is amazing it in the Roosevelt Collection. The building in which HER IMOPRTS is located is so nice, clean and friendly. They have candy and peppermints for the customers while u wait for a representative. Once taking back they are so friendly asking would you like something to drink. Then they bring out different type of hair for you to feel tell you about the deals and special and there payment plans if you cant afford all at once. The hair was soft and curly just how I wanted.I really enjoy my time there and would come back again

Ive lighted it to blonde wore that for awhile and then went bright red. The hair as still kept its integrity from when I first purchased. Im a customer for life. Bonus is Ive had it for a year and my ends are still great! I would recommend this company any day and to all my clients

First let me say I was really hesitant to order the hair because last time I order offline the company gave me horrible hair, but I decided to do online ordering one more time with the help of my boyfriend money 😁, but the hair had already been installed in my head over 3xs yes the hair is that good I would order from it again when I get some money to afford it but yes the hair is so soft its still soft I havent had no shedding problems I do put weft seal on my hair, and I have went swimming, worked in hot environments I love this hair I wish yal had store in Madison yall would take all the beauty supplies money 💯

I have never purchased weave for myself however I have purchased them for my mom. She does not like wearing weave often and I thought it would be a good idea to buy her some from your store. She loves this hair so much Ive never seen her this happy about trying new things with hair. Worst customer service and hair quality.Did not have the hair for 2 months and thinned out and knotted up bad!! My wig off amazon lasted 3xlonger. Just do not buy the Peruvian brand. It’s a waste of money, and they will not help you out.

My initial review is below however, I wanted to do a follow-up. Being as though you cant really write a review about hair unless, you wear it for a period of time. Ive purchased my second set of bundles this February, Ive had it installed twice. Im going to write my hair about my first set of bundles because Ive had it for a year now. The hair is still amazing, I chose to make it into a wig because I had purchased another bundle set. Even after a year, I still experience the minimum shedding. Ive now dyed my hair red and I love it. I wear my wig more often now, when I need a break from braids and the stress on my hair. The customer service I experienced was beyond excellent. Their employees make sure all your needs are met and they tell you how to properly take care of your hair. Whenever I have questions they are very prompt on responding in a responsible time or returning my call. This is the only hair company I buy from and I always receive compliments on it. I love how vibrant and bouncy the hair is. All around its just an amazing company, they actually care about their customers and their experience.By far one of the best hair companies out and great customer. Last April is when I first purchased my Brazilian body wave bundles. They wefts were thick and were secure. I instantly fell in love with the hair & the bounce that it had. Ive dyed my hair & it took the color very well. It takes the heat very well. I flat iron my hair a lot and when I wanted to return to the natural curl pattern I would wash it. I also loved the fact that there was minimum shedding. Ive had my hair for almost a year now, it still feels the same and is full. I have ordered more bundles since, I usually go to the store. The only thing I dislike was the fact the hair did have a corn chip smell, but if you co-wash and deep condition your hair the smell should go away. A pro about this company which I really did love is that they do gave out discount for student who received a 3.2 GPA . Whenever I go to the store, I am greeted and properly taken care of. The employees are really helpful and try to find what works for your personal hair preference and your budget. Amazing and honest company. It was definitely worth the money. I just wanted to share my extremely disappointing experience with management in the Chicago location with Her Imports. Prior today I was eager to work with or within this company. Ive always seen amazing ads, beautiful models and respectable sales. I wanted to join the team once I saw that they were hiring locally. I sent in my resume, was contacted and scheduled an interview. I came to the Oakbrook location as instructed and when I arrived, I contacted the employee I was scheduled to interview with to let him know I was there. Not only was he not present at the Oakbrook location he lied about attempting to call me but couldnt get through. I never received a call, email, or voicemail. I was then instructed to come to the Chicago location that was 45 min away. Mind you my form of transportation was uber. Aside from that, first interview went well. Left on a note that I was a candidate that was seriously considered. I was instructed to come back for a second interview to meet the Manger, who I formally knew from a previous employer. Excited to see a familiar face. My hopes were high. When I arrived she acted as if to have no clue as to why I was there and asked me if I was buying hair when it was clear that I was a prospective for a position and clearly scheduled to speak with her. She was completely dismissive of me and I was then asked to leave the office just to be told that they contacted a former employer that me and the manager both shared and that they were told I walked out on my previous job. With me still having heavy ties to my former employer I contacted them to confirm if this was said or not. Not only did My former employer state that they never got in no form of communication from any representative within Her Imports but also validated that the statements were completely false, I also came to the conclusion that theyre current manager, made false accusation without even discussing the situation with me. I was truly disappointment with how unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate the staff members of MANAGEMENT were. I feel that in no way that they should hold such positions while handling business the way they did. I was told I would receive a call later on that day to get a definite answer as to if I was still considered or not and I never received a call I honestly was not looking for. I strongly suggest formal training of the two or complete drainage of management. This experience has truly left the worst look of any employer I have ever came to contact with. I seriously do hope that things can be handled better in the future for the sake of the brand and any other hopeful job hunting candidate that would look towards Her Imports for employment. Chicago is a great area to sell hair which Im sure we all know but with Her Imports Chicago team handling business in such elementary remedial condescending ways, its is completely damaging and disrespectful to the brand. And there is power to social media. Which is why I decided to share.

Dont let the negative reviews discourage ( you cant please everybody ) I absolutely love Her Imports I ordered my hair from them back in May. It is now September and Im very good at keeping my bundles up. Customer Service is also a big plus for me.

I typically dont leave reviews, BUT!! I felt the need to leave one. I read some pretty bad reviews about HERIMPORTS on YouTube, people complained of bad smells, shedding and even tangling. Needless to say, there were more good reports over the bad reports so I decided to take a chance and I am so glad that I did! I went into the Chicago location and purchased 3 bundles... 2- 18 and 1-20 Brazilian Body Wave. The hair didnt have a smell and OMG it is like butter, I had it installed and straitened, I havent lost a strand yet, no shedding. I love this hair, I dont even have to flat iron it in the morning, it just falls out of the bonnet and Im ready to go. Ill never purchase anywhere else. Im glad I took the chance, please dont be discouraged by the negative reviews. You cant tell me a thing with my inches LOL

Worst hair I have ever bought including cheap store bought hair. Bundles are skimpy and split ends all through out. They show you the hair very tightly bundled to fool you into thinking its more hair than it actually is, but when you start putting it in you see the poor quality. Save your money and just buy Milky Way. The location I went to was in Memphis but I wouldnt expect any different from the other locations.

I literally Drive 2 hours from Champaign to Chicago for my hair, I could always order online but the friendly customer service and great experience is worth the 2 hour drive! I Always Get Great quality hair that is. Soft, no smell, and all around AWESOME! My forever hair company! You guys are GREAT!!! YESS!!!Know its alittle pricy but its worth it, I just bought 4 bundles. Bleach and dyed every one of them, even double bleach one bundle an the hair is still has soft as when I go it. No shedding, only two little strands of hair came out and thats cause my shi**y brush pulled them out. Long story short I would recommend this hair to you and everyone!

Has never bought herimports hair before, simply because Im cheap. I do follow them on instagram and visit thier website whenever they have a sale. I love thier commercial/videos with thier hair giveaway and the celebraties, plus the idea of financing thier bundles is a good option (just scared) Would love to try thier hair on though. Sooooo Ive been searching for some good hair for awhile now and once I seen my best friend with the herimports hair, I jus had to buy me a couple of bundles. I can actually say that Im in love with the hair! It feels nice, doesnt shed too much, and doesnt tangle up like the hair Ive been getting. Ive been rocking my herimports hair for awhile now and I stay getting compliments on my hair and a lot of Where did you get your hair from? statements. Ill recommend anyone to herimports!!

I shop at HerImports so much a picture of my hair which was on my stylist Instagram page was actually recognized by a HerImports employee & placed on the HerImports website....I love, love, love HerImports you cant go wrong.

So I had been trying hair from all over aliexpress and every time the hair would tangle, shedd and have a smell it was not virgin hair. I said thats it Im going to stop being cheap I went over to herimports I said I need bundles and I need them now lol. Upon walking in I was greeted very pleasantly that was a plus. I had a lot of questions they never made me feel like I was being rushed they were very patient answered all my question. I purchased three bundles of brazilian body wave. Baby let me tell yall this hair DID NOT have a smell thats a LIE. The hair was so soft full no shedding and did I mention affordable. I cant wait until my tax refund hit Im buying me and my mama some. Dont be fooled get you some really good hair from a company who has great customer services and gives back to their customers also. I finally got a chance to check herimports hair out and i really really love it it doesnt shed or tangle this is thee best virgin hair i have purchased in a very long time the lady who helped me out new what she was talikng about and was very helpful cant wait to go back think i may try a curly texture anyway herimports you rock i looove this hair cant wait to color it
